Venus Williams In Torn by Ronny Kobo – This Morning

After her Wimbledon win in the women’s doubles final on Saturday, Venus Williams was back stateside yesterday afternoon.

She was spotted heading to CBS Studios in New York City for a guest appearance on ‘This Morning’.

During her interview, Venus said that winning the doubles with her sister Serena was awesome, and watching Serena clean up the singles competition was the icing on the cake.

Following a fortnight of miserable weather in London, the champ wore a sunshine-yellow Torn by Ronny Kobo ‘Kaitlyn’ pleated mini dress.

She added some sparkle to her look by wearing Stuart Weitzman silver glitter flats and silver hooped earrings.

Sleek tresses replaced the braided hairstyle she favoured during Wimbledon.

WTA Pre-Wimbledon Party at The Roof Gardens

Fashion and tennis collided at the WTA Pre-Wimbledon Party, held at The Roof Gardens in Kensington, London last night.

We have already seen Maria Sharapova. Here are the rest of the attendees who took to the green carpet.

Serena Williams: The tennis ace was once again dressed by Burberry for this annual event. Her purple taffeta frock with black sheer straps was styled with black t-bar sandals and a selection of silver jewels. The thing I love most about her look are her voluminous curls.

Ana Ivanovic: The young star wore a pretty Matthew Williamson feather-accented frock which complemented her statuesque frame. The stunning lace dress also features a cluster of gold paillettes and beaded details. It may seem like quite a lot of detail, but she carries it off with great aplomb. She accessorized with Christian Louboutin matching heels with a gold toe-cap and a mahogany clutch.
Whilst I love the elegant updo, I wish she applied fake tan to her feet. I guess that is what happens when training in sunny conditions wearing thick tennis socks.

Anne Keothavong: The British number one ranked player wore a baroque-inspired Alexander McQueen ‘Fil’ coupé jacquard green-and-black dress. She styled her look with tights (it’s been a while since I saw tights on the red carpet), black pumps (the same can’t be said for those) and a sweeping ponytail.

Venus & Serena Williams In Christiane King – 2012 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

It looks like Maria Sharapova wasn’t the only tennis pro to hit the red carpet at the 2012 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, as the Williams sisters were also in attendance.

Both sisters wore gowns designed by Christiane King.

The vibrant hues not only complement their skin-tone but their bubbly personalities.

Both ladies are flawless, but I would’ve picked Venus’ two-tone one shoulder dress over Serena’s stunning, yet restrictive, mustard mermaid dress.

Venus accessorized with a Konstantin Kakanias blush suede sunflower evening bag from the Atelier Swarovski Spring 2012 collection, whilst Serena opted for emerald green and gold statement jewels.

Which look do you favour?

BlackBerry Torch Launch Party – Venus Williams In Alexander Wang

Tennis star Venus Williams also attended the BlackBerry Torch Launch Party this week.

She wore an Alexander Wang Pre-Fall 2009 mini dress.

Her black and gold dress was paired with black pumps.

Usually I would be moaning about her black pumps, but I’m more horrified that she forgot to apply lotion to her feet.

I do however love her gold statement necklace and I really love her sleek bangs.

2009 USTA US Open Official Player Party

Emmy Rossum goes from sex kitten at the 2009 Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Annual Installation Luncheon, to chic and ladylike at this event.

The actress wore an ivory Temperley London Resort 2009 dress with a high embellished collar.

The belt perfectly complements the embellished neckline, along with her other gold accessories.

I’m loving the variety of looks Emmy is giving us lately.

Olivia Palermo floor-length Diane von Furstenberg Spring 2009 floaty dress only reached the knee of the model.

The pint-size New Yorker’s dress had an additional lining from the runway version, which she paired with a gold cuff.

I love the dress, but I’m not crazy about the tan strappy heels.

I would have paired this dress with silver strappy heels.

Venus Williams is usually the best dressed woman on the court with her Eleven by Venus Williams sportswear, but off court her looks used to be questionable until she started to step things up a notch.

This goes in the questionable section. I like the simplicity of the black jumpsuit and the ruffled bib, but the length of the pants bother me.

Venus Williams Wears Marchesa On “The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien”

Venus Williams served up another ace look on Conan O’Brien’s show last week.

The 6ft 1in star looked stunning wearing a pink strapless Marchesa Pre-Fall 2008 floaty mini dress showing off her toned endless legs.

She wore stunning drop earrings and nude jeweled heels with her perfect dress.

It’s funny how tiny she makes both host Conan and fellow guest Gerald Butler look so tiny as she towers over them in the clip below.

During the interview Venus talks about battling her sister on the tennis court, Wimbledon, fashion, and Conan tries to return one of her 130 mph serves which is hilarious.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Katherine Heigl & Venus Williams

The majority of you picked Katherine Heigl as your Best Dressed this week.

She wowed you wearing a tulle Lanvin dress whilst carrying a grey Tod’s clutch, and decorating her neck with pearls by David Yurman.

I don’t think any of you will be surprised that I picked Venus Williams as Best Dressed this week as I could stop gushing about her.

It’s very rare that we see either of the Williams sisters looking as chic, but both brought their A game to the ESPY Awards.

Venus dazzled me wearing a stunning Mara Hoffman gown that was both the perfect summertime and red carpet dress.
