Vanessa Kirby In Erdem – Empire Awards 2018

‘The Crown’s’ Vanessa Kirby made dazzling appearance at the Empire Awards on Sunday (March 18), where she joined Daisy Ridley and Anya Taylor-Joy.

I love the dark and moody vibes of this Erdem Pre-Fall 2018 two-piece look which is momentarily softened with the designers feminine florals.

The look signifies strength and power to me, while still maintaining a heavy dose of charm.

Solid pumps would’ve been a safe bet, but Vanessa’s Roger Vivier navy and gold pumps were a necessary indulgence for this elegant look.

Vanessa Kirby In Valentino – 2018 SAG Awards

Vanessa Kirby stepped out at the 2018 SAG Awards on Sunday (January 21) in LA, joining Sally Hawkins and Samara Weaving.

The actress, who was nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series for her work in ‘The Crown,’ wore a Valentino Spring 2018 dress.

The pale pink gown was invigorated with floral appliqués resulting in a romantic bohemian vibe.

She simplified the silhouette by removing the halter detail which would have allowed the embroidery to shine.

However, I think her strong hair and makeup have overpowered the frock. I understand her decision to complete the look with a red lip, but the contouring and wet-look ponytail took away from everything else.

Vanessa Kirby In Prada – ‘The Crown’ Season 2 London Premiere

Vanessa Kirby joined Gillian Anderson on the red carpet for the season 2 world premiere of Netflix ‘The Crown’ at Odeon Leicester Square on Tuesday (November 21) in London.

The actress’ style is usually quite delicate, but on this occasion she opted for some magic and sparkle courtesy of Prada; inspired from their Resort 2018 collection.

What’s so special about this particular bronzed sequin dress?

For me it sheer organza sleeves and scalloped organza hem which lend a modern touch of romance to the look.

Messika jewelry provided the finishing touch.

Vanessa Kirby In Marchesa – 2017 Emmy Awards

Vanessa Kirby attended the red carpet of the 2017 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 17) in Los Angeles.

The ‘The Crown’ actress is at the height of the fashion season wearing a gown from the Marchesa 2018 Resort collection.

From the frothy fabric to the rosy hue, this gown is all things feminine and lovely, and I’m sold.

I also love the edgier styling details, since the gown is so girly. The dark lip, the grungy hair and the mid-arm bangle are all surprising choices with this gown, but it works seamlessly.

Celebrities at the Wimbledon Championships

The Wimbledon Championships saw another round of pretties out to watch the finale action on Sunday (July 16) in London.

Rosamund Pike: I can totally see this Erdem floral-printed frock in a shorter version. As presented with the ruffle sleeves, flared long skirt, and embellished lavender shoes, the look presented as rather heavy and overwrought.

Emilia Clarke: There was much that was darling about this Dolce & Gabbana floral dress and accent bow, but there also much that was very fall about it. When styled with Mary Janes, it felt especially better suited for the forthcoming season. The sleeves also seemed a bit long.

Vanessa Kirby: I loved Vanessa’s Tory Burch dress for its inherent fresh, summery vibe, but also because the sweater top and box-pleat skirt had a chic tennis-uniform-inspired spirit. I do wish she had opted for another colour of sandal—I would have taken a complementary red, navy, or ivory over the nude pair.

2017 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards Red Carpet Roundup

The 2017 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards took place on Tuesday (June 6) in London. The event attracted some famous faces in fashionable ensembles.

Dua Lipa: The singer definitely got the ‘glamour’ memo judging by her Stella McCartney Fall 2017 cut-out gown. It was one of the few sultry after-dark looks we saw at this event.

Emily Berrington: Emilio Pucci’s dress seems inspired by paisley print. The unusual design features panelling, print, and a cut-out. Whilst this look is commendable for playing with shape, it’s confusing and overworked.

Rashida Jones: Amongst the sea of florals and neutrals, this Erdem Pre-Fall 2017 dress did stand out. I love the intricate detailing on the neckline which adds some softness to this look. The silhouette seems somewhat unflattering, however. I also wish the ‘Parks and Recreation’ actress has opted for more daring styling choices to amplify this look.
