Who Wore Moschino better Vanessa Hudgens or Kylie Minogue

Back in September last year, a sweet-looking Vanessa Hudgens wore a Moschino Resort 2013 peach ruffled frock to Variety’s 2012 Power of Youth event.

The dress was beautiful against her olive skin-tone; sadly, her choice of tan Saint Laurent ‘Tribtoo’ pumps weighed down her delicate look.

Cut to June of this year, and Australian singer/actress Kylie Minogue was spotted wearing the same dress to the Glamour Women of the Year 2013 awards.

Her shoe choice was better as she selected gold peep-toe sandals; however, I wasn’t a huge fan of the bracelets.

So this comes down to what bothers me more: Vanessa’s shoes or Kylie’s bracelets.

In the end, Kylie wins for me.

Vanessa Hudgens In Moschino - Meet The Actor Event

Yesterday, Vanessa Hudgens was glimpsed en route to the Meet the Actor event at the Apple Store, Regent Street in London, England.

The starlet flaunted her summer style earlier in the day, sporting a fresh, white Catherine Malandrino ensemble at BBC Radio One. But she looked to fall with this Moschino Fall 2013 entrance.

Despite the change in seasons, I actually like what she’s done with the crimson brocade, slim-fit suit, simplifying it from the more overwrought runway styling and slinging Givenchy’s ‘Nightingale’ bag over her shoulder.

She did away with the spiffy bow tie, white blouse and gold-badge booties, and twisted the look into her own urbane interpretation that was polished off with a top knot and a summer glow.

Joe’s ‘Ollie’ canvas pumps completed her look.

Vanessa Hudgens In Catherine Malandrino - BBC Radio One

Vanessa Hudgens was spotted arriving at BBC Radio One in London earlier today for a guest appearance to promote her latest movie ‘The Frozen Ground’ which will premiere in Leicester Square tomorrow, where she will take to the red carpet alongside Nicolas Cage.

Coming from California, she took our current heatwave in her stride wearing a Catherine Malandrino Spring 2013 ensemble.

The summery white look featured a cropped sweater with sheer sleeves and a multitude of soft appliqués, which she styled with straight-legged Houghton pants.

Vanessa’s accessories included Giuseppe Zanotti tan sandals with a rose-gold metal plate and a black Givenchy ‘Nightingale’ tote.

A chic top-knot, a metallic gold manicure and flawless makeup completed her look.

Vanessa will be at the Apple Store on Regent Street later today as part of their ‘Meet The Actor’ series.

Vanessa Hudgens Loves Her ASOS Leather Cap

A leather cap might seem like an odd summer accessory, but at the moment Vanessa Hudgens can’t leave home without it.

The actress is not usually shy when it comes to the paparazzi, but she’s been hiding behind her ASOS leather cap while going to Pilates class, pumping gas and out shopping wearing Joe’s ‘Vintage Reserve’ button-up overalls (which are on-trend).

We are used to the boho-loving star wearing floppy sunhats or letting her wavy tresses roam free, so I am slightly perplexed by this leather-cap-wearing phase.

Has her leather cap replace her oversized sunglasses?

Myspace Event

MySpace Event 1

Myspace held an event at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, California yesterday evening, inviting many celebs to their fun-filled soirée. I didn’t know people still used MySpace.

Miley Cyrus: Let’s start with those pants. At first I thought they were from the Rihanna for River Island collection, but having gone through the collection I found that nothing was as bad as this part-sweatpants part-jeans combo creation which were created by Ashish for his Spring 2013 collection. Isn’t this like trying to mix oil with vinegar? The rest of her look isn’t as bad, by her standards. She wore an Alexander Wang leather bralette with a plasticy bomber jacket, accessorizing with on-trend white pumps, a Chanel bag, and a selection of jewels. Liam sure is a lucky boy.

Dianna Agron: Returning to her blonde ‘do after a brief flirtation with red, the ‘Glee’ actress, unlike some, decided to make an effort and dress up for this occasion. The actress wore a Marc Jacobs look, featuring a ruffle-collared sleeveless white silk blouse styled with a floral-and-butterfly print pleated skirt from the Resort 2013 collection, which she also topped off with on-trend white pumps and a bold lip colour. A blue patent ladylike clutch completed her look.

Olivia Wilde: The actress does pretty very well and often, so I’m loving this refreshing laidback look. I would gladly rock each piece, from the J Brand ‘Abiah’ leather jacket to the blue tee, paint-splattered Parker jeans and red t-bar Brian Atwood sandals. This is how to do, ‘with an edge’ without looking ridiculous.

Coachella 2013

Coachella 1

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, which kicked off this past weekend, is always a hotbed of eclectic, look-at-that ensembles, as the fest flaunts an anything-goes attitude that many stars are plenty keen to adopt. Cutoffs, crop tops and crochet all come out of the closet, and it’s the one time where even the most reprehensible faux-pas can get a free pass on the fairground—even if they shouldn’t.

Kristen Stewart: The most memorable part of this Kristen sighting was that she was arm-in-arm with her on-and-off boyfriend, Robert Pattinson. Her T-shirt, too-short shorts and Converse kicks were a complete yawn and paled in comparison to Coachella’s other cool and crazy looks. Of course, she would probably say she’s just there for the music not the photo op.

Solange Knowles: The singer continued her love affair with colour and print in this bubblegum-pink Hawaiian floral skirt and melon-orange CC Skye box clutch. Here, though, her go-to style didn’t work so well. The slit was too high, and her white Stuart Weitzman sandals were far too mumsy. She just looked uncomfortable.

Bella Thorne: The up-and-coming starlet really was the flower-child of the fest with her tiara of blooms worn atop her long auburn strands. At only 15, she can get away with shredded denim, a mesh shirt and sneakers, and still look charming.
