Uma Thurman In Prada – Chopard Party

Uma Thurman In Prada - Chopard Party

Uma Thurman attended the Chopard party during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival on Monday (May 18) in Cannes, France.

The actress wore an icy fit-and-flare Prada dress, pleated to create a voluminous silhouette.

While this look serves ups something of a romantic flair, I can’t help but nitpick by saying that the dress appears to be a tad snug around the waist.

Do you agree?

The look was styled with Jimmy Choo shoes and Chopard provided the bling.

Uma Thurman In Atelier Versace – 2015 Met Gala

"China: Through The Looking Glass" Costume Institute Benefit Gala - Arrivals

Uma Thurman attended the ‘China: Through the Looking Glass’ 2015 Met Gala, hosted at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4).

Her Atelier Versace asymmetrical white v-neck gown, an interpretation of a classic Chinese Hanfu with its wrapped tie waist and robe sleeve, provided an understated yet still effective nod towards the evening’s theme.

Sophisticated and seductive, the sleek dress was all the more admirable in that it portrayed not the hint of try-hard.

Jade green tassel earrings provided another subtle ode to China with glossy Alexandre Birman sandals completing the look.

Uma Thurman In Alaia – 2014 Gotham Independent Film Awards

Uma Thurman In Alaia - 2014 Gotham Independent Film Awards

Uma Thurman attended the 24th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards held at Cipriani Wall Street on Monday (December 1) in New York City, where she was MC for the evening.

The actress wore a classic design by Alaia, featuring the designer’s signature flared hem, which was also mimicked on the cuffs.

There is nothing at all wrong with this look, but I always crave more glamour for Uma.

This is nice but instantly forgettable; however, I am intrigued by what appears to be a gold chain detail worn under her dress.

Uma wore Chopard jewels.

Uma Thurman In Atelier Versace – 2014 Bambi Awards

Uma Thurman In Atelier Versace - 2014 Bambi Awards

Uma Thurman attended the 2014 Bambi Awards on Thursday (November 13) in Berlin, Germany, where she collected the Best International Actress award.

She looked stunning, wearing a custom-made midnight-blue (but photographs black) Atelier Versace strapless dress styled with Manolo Blahnik sandals and Chopard jewels.

Uma can be frustratingly inconsistent for someone of her superstar stature, but this sees her back to her best – even though I want to remove the cuff.

If you are having a slight case of déjà vu, that’s probably due to the fact that Angelina Jolie wore a not too dissimilar Atelier Versace look in velvet during her ‘Maleficent’ promo tour.

Uma Thurman In Jenny Packham – Chopard And Vanity Fair Present ‘Backstage At Cinecitta’ Exhibition

Uma Thurman In Jenny Packham - Chopard And Vanity Fair Present 'Backstage At Cinecitta' Exhibition

No film festival invite list is complete without Uma Thurman’s name on it.

While she doesn’t have a movie to promote, the actress did attend the Chopard And Vanity Fair Present ‘Backstage At Cinecitta’ Exhibition held at the Cipriani Hotel on Sunday (August 31) during Venice Film Festival.

Uma wore a rich maroon Jenny Packham layered chiffon pleated dress, worn perhaps to provide the perfect backdrop to her stunning diamond and ruby stone necklace.

Styled with gold Jimmy Choo sandals – wish they had been silver – this look overall falls flat for me.

The only thing I would save are the jewels.

Uma Thurman In Marchesa – ‘A Fistful of Dollars’ Cannes Film Festival Screening & Closing Ceremony

Uma Thurman In Marchesa - 'A Fistful of Dollars' Cannes Film Festival Screening & Closing Ceremony

Uma Thurman attended the Closing Ceremony and ‘A Fistful of Dollars’ screening during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival this evening (May 24) in Cannes, France.

At first I thought she was wearing Givenchy Couture as her white satin gown featuring Japanese crane embroidery is similar to pieces we’ve seen in the Givenchy Spring 2011 Couture collection.

As dramatic as the embroidery is, this fails to excite, especially when compared to her Atelier Versace from the night before.

Chopard jewels completed her look.
