Tracee Ellis Ross In Prabal Gurung – 2017 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

Tracee Ellis Ross made a bold statement in red at Glamour’s 2017 Women of The Year Awards on Monday (November 13) in Brooklyn, New York, joining Halle Bailey and Chloe Bailey and Nicole Kidman.

The ‘Black-ish’ star was clad in a Prabal Gurung Spring 2018 ensemble. I can see some wanting to compare it to the red dancer emoji, but, to me, the cut of the dress had a cooler fashion-forward edge thanks to the reflective fabric and its silhouette.

I love how the look had fantastic movement with the softness of the draped sleeves continuing down to the asymmetrical ruffles.

The ab cut-outs and draping of the skirt showed off some skin, while providing a wonderful contrast to the ruffles.

Red Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps lent a cohesive finish while drop earrings played off the frock’s shine.

SAG-AFTRA Foundation Patron of the Artists Awards Red Carpet Roundup

The red carpet was alight with stylish stars at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Patron of the Artists Awards on Thursday (November 9) in Beverly Hills, California.

Kristen Bell: It may be autumn, but the actress kept the spring spirit alive in a Salvatore Ferragamo Spring 2017 dress. The yellow and blue blooms had an ebullient mood which was enhanced with Jennifer Meyer jewels and white heels.

Andrew Garfield: Cutting a dapper figure, the ‘Breathe’ actor broke away from coordinates, pairing a brown and navy check jacket with slim navy trousers. A dark blue sweater completed the ensemble, presenting a modern alternative to a suit and tie.

Tracee Ellis Ross: The ‘Black-ish’ actress’s love of fashion is apparent in many of her outfits, including this vintage Pierre Balmain dress from Shrimpton Couture. She committed to the glamorous retro theme with red Christian Louboutin pumps and a Les Petits Joueurs bag.

Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic

The Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic was held on Saturday (October 14) in Pacific Palisades, California, with a number of stars in attendance for the day of sport.

Tracee Ellis Ross: This look brought a big smile to my face, as I was immediately charmed by the Agnes B printed top and mustard-yellow Celine trousers. The star of the show was the Eric Javits hat, though, with Stuart Weitzman ‘Marlon’ shoes completing the typically quirky look. The shoes were funky, to be sure, but it was the Louis Vuitton clutch that I could have done without.

Camilla Belle: This Adeam Resort 2018 asymmetrical frock offered up such a delicately feminine vibe, with her pink lip echoing that spirit. Her block heels ensured there would be no sinking into the grass.

Kate Hudson: I loved the playfulness of this candy-stripe Johanna Ortiz Resort 2018 wide-leg jumpsuit, all tied up with its girlish bow. But, I would have been fearful that Kate would trip on the pants that puddled on the ground. The giant rosebud earrings were such fun as was the Clare V. ‘Petite Alice’ tote.

Tracee Ellis Ross In Chanel – PaleyFest NY 2017 – ‘Black-ish’

Tracee Ellis Ross made an arresting entrance at the PaleyFest NY 2017 ‘Black-ish’ event on Monday (October 9).

The actress struck a pose in a shimmering Chanel Fall 2017 dress. The midi number had plenty of megawatt shine as it was crafted out of an elegant mix of black and blue embellishment.

A raised neckline was contrasted with a V-shaped chest cutout and another plunging cutout in the back. I enjoyed the unique details, but I would have liked to see the neckband shortened slightly to reveal more of Tracee’s neck.

The actress’s braided hairdo successfully showed off the dress’s striking elements while framing her face.

Eva Fehren jewels and Jimmy Choo ‘Romy’ pumps accessorized her look.
