16th Annual Mark Twain Prize For American Humor

A trio of funny girls turned out for the 16th Annual Mark Twain Prize For American Humor held at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington. D.C. on Sunday.

Rashida Jones: The actress buttoned up in a Miu Miu floral-embroidered top paired with high-waisted black Celine sailor pants, a Chanel clutch and YSL shoes. A retro-look statement earring, along with a crimson lip and wavy ponytail, finished the straightforward ensemble with a fun flair.

Tina Fey: Lace was Tina’s trend of the day with her black Oscar de la Renta cocktail dress, which she wore with peep-toe slingback pumps and a black satin clutch—and a ponytail.

Amy Poehler: There wasn’t much to like or dislike about this basic black dress with a lightly embellished collar neckline. The clunky black heels didn’t do the frock any favours.

Tina Fey

Tina Fey struck a dramatic pose on the red carpet at the 2013 Emmy Awards.

The ’30 Rock’ star and everyone’s favorite comedy writer wore a figure-hugging Narciso Rodriguez gown and Fred Leighton jewelry.

While Tina isn’t known for her red carpet fashion successes, the funny lady looked absolutely gorgeous in this stunning gown.

The cobalt blue color and classic silhouette are perfect for the star’s coloring and shape.

Her plush eyelashes, pink, glossy lips and subtle waves complete this red carpet win.

Tina Fey In Reed Krakoff - Late Show with David Letterman

Tina Fey was spotted outside the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City yesterday afternoon where she was making a guest appearance on the ‘Late Show with David Letterman’, where she shared her excitement to be attending the 2013 Emmy Awards, which take place on September 23.

The funny gal opted for black Casadei pumps and a chic black Reed Krakoff dress with a white printed-and-perforated bodice which gives her a perfect hourglass silhouette.

In her interview she claimed that she’s a hot mess, but style-wise this look proves her hot-mess days are behind her; she’s come a long way from her 2010 Golden Globes look.

This look is effortless, clean and sophisticated, with blown-out tresses and a pop of colour via her orange lip and frosty-pink manicure.

Tina Fey In Oscar de la Renta - 2013 SAG AwardsFresh from her 2013 Golden Globe Awards co-hosting gig with Amy Poehler, Tina Fey took to the 2013 SAG Awards red carpet at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California this evening.

And this funny girl’s Oscar de la Renta Spring 2013 entrance was seriously stunning.

The actress, who won the SAG trophy for her role in ’30 Rock,’ kept it classic with her black gown, featuring a strapless, sweetheart-neckline. It fit her like the most glamorous glove ever.

An embellished metallic belt and a silver jewelled clutch provided enough sparkle, so she smartly kept her Fred Leighton jewels simple and skipped a necklace.

For her hair, she styled her locks into a side part with retro-inspired waves—a perfect ‘do for this dress.

I’m very impressed with Tina’s trendsetting ways of late, as she has previously found herself on fashion miss lists more than once.

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler Host The Golden Globe Awards In L'Wren Scott & Stella McCartney

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted the 2013 Golden Globes on Sunday, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in LA.

They took to the red carpet wearing L’Wren Scott and Stella McCartney respectively and both wore the same designers while hosting the show.

Tina wore the same L’Wren Scott dress from the red carpet to host the show, later changing into a custom peacock-blue embroidered L’Wren Scott gown, which was her best look of the night – in fact, it was one of her best looks ever.

Amy hosted the show wearing a burgundy Stella McCartney gown with an embroidered belt from the designer’s Fall 2012 collection. This sexy frock featured a plunging neckline and three-quarter-length sleeves.

Her final look to close the show was a black sequin dress from Stella’s Spring 2013 collection. This halter keyhole dress wasn’t my favourite; it was a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen.
Amy kept the same hairstyle throughout the night, while her co-host Tina, opted for three different looks.

I was delighted to see both women step things up in the style stakes, as we know they often find themselves on the worst-dressed lists.
