Tilda Swinton In Haider Ackermann – 2011 National Board of Review Awards Gala

Tilda Swinton attended the 2011 National Board of Review Awards Gala on Tuesday night in New York City.

The British actress wore yet another Haider Ackermann Spring 2012. It appears she has the monopoly on the designers treads.

Her vibrant purple look consisted of a silk blouse teamed with eggplant wide leg pants.

Tilda tousled her hair to add a bit of volume and accessorized with a statement ring.

I love the blouse, but I’m not so crazy about the pants.

Tilda Swinton In YSL – 2012 Critics’ Choice Awards

If you are tired of all the summery dress on the red carpet at the 2012 Critics Choice Awards, Tilda Swinton will cleanse your palette.

The British actress donned a typically androgynous menswear-inspired look.

Chic minimalism was clearly what she was going for with this YSL Edition Soir 2012 three-piece black and white look which consisted of a sheer blouse, two-tone tuxedo jacket and white wide-legged pants with an embroidered cummerbund.

A Pomellato ‘Victoria’ rose gold and white opal ring, black patent YSL platform heels and a slicked back hairstyle completed her look.

Tilda Swinton In Haider Ackermann – 21st Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards

Tilda Swinton arrived on the red carpet at the 21st Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards, which were held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City last night, wearing her favourite designer: Haider Ackermann.

It’s the gift that keeps on giving and the collaboration that never gets tiring.

Tilda is the perfect muse for the designer, as she wears his pieces so well.

A case in point, this androgynous Spring 2012 look, which consists of a sequined blazer with satin lapels, a sheer blouse and tapered pants, was made for her, but I wish she’d opted for the full runway look.

The only other person I see wearing this exact look, sans black pumps and with tighter pants, is Steven Tyler.

Pomellato rings and a shimmering pink lip colour completed her look.

Tilda Swinton In Haider Ackermann – 2011 Marie Claire Prix de la Moda Awards

Tilda Swinton was honoured at the 2011 Marie Claire Prix de la Moda Awards, which were held at the French Embassy in Madrid, Spain last night.

She walked the red carpet with Haider Ackermann, who designed her look for the evening.

The orange pants look like they are fresh off the Spring 2012 runway, but the jacket looks like a custom-piece as the lapels on Tilda’s jacket are different from the runway version.

Instead of the printed runway shirt, Tilda opted for a chiffon taupe blouse, which adds a feminine touch to her look.

It’s rare to see the British actress wear makeup, but on this special occasion she wore red lippie.

Two-tone pumps completed Tilda’s look.

Catching Up With Tilda Swinton In Haider Ackermann, Anne Valérie Hash Couture & Lanvin

With so much going on over the past week, I’ve missed a few Tilda Swinton looks so here is a brief recap.

Last Wednesday she attended the 2011 AFI Fest screening of ‘We Need To Talk About Kevin’ wearing a Lanvin Spring 2012 white silk wrap trench with black pumps.

Her next look at the Beverly Hills screening the following day was an Anne Valérie Hash Fall 2011 Couture black tuxedo jumpsuit with satin lapels which was gathered at the waist.

Tilda went from wearing head-to-toe black to head-to-toe white at the MOCA Gala this weekend.

This crisp white suit was also teamed with matching pumps. For me this is Tilda at her best and my favourite look of the bunch.

Last night she was in New York City to attend a special screening of her new thriller, ‘We Need To Talk About Kevin’.

The British actress donned a Haider Ackermann look which consisted of a collarless grey blazer with an ivory blouse and petrol-blue pants.

I can’t say this is my favourite Tilda look.

With each look Tilda wore Pomellato rings.

As much as I love Tilda, she needs to up her shoe game.

Tilda Swinton In Jil Sander – ‘I Am Love’ Screening & Jil Sander Spring 2012 Tokyo Presentation

In Tilda Swinton’s new movie, ‘I Am Love’ she wears a wardrobe of Jil Sander looks which were created by Raf Simons for the British actress.

The movie was released in Japan this week, so to celebrate the occasion Jil Sander held an exclusive fashion show and screening event in Tokyo yesterday.

Tilda gives us our first look at the Jil Sander Spring 2012 collection on the red carpet.

She wore a navy blue mid-calf length dress with Jil Sander light grey sling-backs and a black clutch.

This dress refines femininity with a modern simplicity, so don’t be surprised that Tilda’s version doesn’t have the Erickson Beamon brooches.
