Tilda Swinton In Haider Ackermann - Hamburg Film Festival

Tilda Swinton received the Douglas Sirk Award during the Hamburg Film Festival held at Cinemaxx Dammtor in Hamburg, Germany yesterday evening.

Sporting a rare touch of red lip colour, the British actress turned to her designer BFF Haider Ackermann for her red carpet look.

Delightfully androgynous as always, she selected a midnight-blue shawl-collar suit accented with a diamond brooch, which she paired with a sexy sheer blouse and black satin pumps.

I know many of you don’t get my obsession with Tilda, but I think she effortlessly nails this look time after time.

With her pale skin, striking green eyes, and unique menswear-inspired style she never gets boring for me.

Tilda Swinton In Lanvin - 'Snowpierce' Deauville America Film Festival Premiere & Photocall

Three film festivals were taking place yesterday: Venice, Toronto and Deauville.

Tilda Swinton took to the red carpet for the Deauville American Film Festival premiere of ‘Snowpierce’, which also served as the closing ceremony yesterday evening.

The British actress is one of my faves. Some of you think this is blind love, but on this occasion I couldn’t bring myself to love this silver Lanvin one-shoulder liquid duchess satin gown.

It has to be one of the most unflattering pieces she has ever worn as it makes her appear wider than she is.

While her black pumps are barely seen, they are far too heavy for the look.

The only thing I really like here is the hair.

Earlier in the day for the photocall she wore an orange coat as a dress. This is more like the Tilda I know and love, especially with the unexpected pairing with baby-blue suede pumps with her citrus hued coat.

Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus.

Tilda Swinton In Valentino Couture – ‘Snowpiercer’ Premiere

Like Angelina Jolie, Tilda Swinton was back out on the red carpet this evening in South Korea, for the Seoul premiere of her latest movie, ‘Snowpiercer’, following the press conference earlier in the day.

She selected yet another look from the Valentino Fall 2013 Couture collection, this time wearing a dress with a short train, a loose, oriental-inspired silhouette, and enchanting pencilled pattern which included a lion’s head.

Once again it’s a tricky look, with a unique silhouette that not many could pull off, but like a chameleon, Tilda is able to adapt to suit any style.

The train might be bothersome to some, but the dress wouldn’t have had such a regal air without it.

Keeping the nude pumps from earlier in the day, Tilda also opted for the same minimalist styling.

Many of you weren’t too enamoured by Tilda’s previous look, some stating that the colour washed her out, so how does this fare?

Tilda Swinton In Valentino Couture - 'Snowpiercer' Press Conference

Tilda Swinton attended the ‘Snowpiercer’ press conference held at Conrad Hotel earlier today in Seoul, South Korea.

The British actress, who’s known for her love of Haider Ackermann, Celine and recently Chanel, opted for a Valentino Fall 2013 Couture coat.

Her wide-sleeved mocha-coloured coat with laser-cut panels and a lace overlay worn over a silk taupe blouse was simply styled with beige pumps and a gold ring.

Barely-there makeup as standard completed her effortless, chic look.

I didn’t expect this piece to become a red carpet look; however, the one thing you can expect from Tilda is the unexpected.

‘Snowpiercer’ will open in South Korea on August 1.

Tilda Swinton In Chanel - Public Talk and Q&A with Michael Idov

Tilda Swinton attended a public talk and Q&A session with journalist and writer Michael Idov at Coffeemania in Moscow earlier this month.

The Scottish actress, who is the face of Chanel’s Pre-Fall 2013 ad campaign, wore her third look from the French brand’s Resort 2014 collection.

On this occasion she wore a salmon-and-black crepe-de-chine pleated blouse and skirt with signature ‘CC’ button detailing.

I love how she switches gears between androgynous and feminine looks seamlessly.

Even though I would’ve preferred this look to have been cut to the length of the buttons just below the knee, this is a great look for Tilda. I like that Uncle Karl is bringing out her more feminine side.

Tilda Swinton & Li Yuchun In Chanel - Chanel's 'The Little Black Jacket’ Exhibition

From Beijing to Shanghai, Chanel’s ‘The Little Black Jacket’ exhibition keeps on rolling.

On Thursday, local and international stars came out to support the event, including Tilda Swinton and mega star Li Yuchun, who I had said during Cannes Film Festival reminded me of the British actress with her androgynous style.

Tilda Swinton: Dialling down the androgyny, Tilda, who was the first person to wear a look from Chanel’s Resort 2014 collection, selected a white sequin tulle dress from that same collection. It’s been a while since we last saw her wear a dress. Even during Cannes Film Festival she wore two trousered looks. Her loose-fitted dress with an embroidered front was styled with white Chanel pumps and barely there, approaching zero makeup.

Li Yuchun: The singer, who also didn’t wear a dress during Cannes, opted for a look from Chanel’s Fall 2013 collection, donning a heavy-looking black-and-white herringbone jacket with braided trims styled with black Chanel jeans and a white high-collared shirt from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection. The final touch came via her black Chanel boots and a silver chain necklace. Is there a little too much going on, or did she pull this off? I think she pulls it off effortlessly.
