Tilda Swinton In Celine – 2012 BAFTA Awards

It’s freezing in New York, but my goosebumps are not for the cold weather.

Tilda Swinton rocked the red carpet at the 2012 BAFTA Awards in London this evening.

She opted for another chic minimalist look, this time from Celine’s Pre-Fall 2012 for a refreshing, unpredictable change.

The look appears to be a jumpsuit in the look-book picture, but on Tilda it’s more like separates.

Once again I love what she’s done with her hair. I hope Emma Watson is taking notes.

Embellished sandals and a Pomellato cocktail ring completed her look.

Tilda Swinton In Lanvin – Pomellato and W Magazine Private Dinner Party

As the face of Pomellato, British actress Tilda Swinton attended the Pomellato and W Magazine Private Dinner celebrating Sandro Kopp at the Lehmann Maupin Gallery late last month.

Like a chameleon, Tilda’s red carpet looks take many forms.

She can move seamlessly from avant-garde to minimalist to slightly bizarre with unwavering poise and class.

On this occasion she was truly sublime in Lanvin.

Her Spring 2012 look included a rose-beige long-sleeve body with articulated shoulders which she paired with a stone-grey high-waist pencil skirt.

Tilda’s choice of shoes can at times be questionable, but her beige Lanvin leather pumps are perfectly complementary.

A Lanvin snake-print ‘Golden Dream’ minaudiere from the Spring 2012 collection completed her look.

I love this look. I ranks very highly alongside her Golden Globes ensemble.

Tilda Swinton In Lanvin – Pomellato Boutique Opening

As the face of the current Pomellato ad campaign, Tilda Swinton hosted a spectacular cocktail reception to celebrate the opening of Pomellato’s West Coast flagship boutique on Rodeo Drive yesterday evening.

For the event, which benefitted MOCA, the British actress wore a Lanvin Resort 2012 look.

The ivory silk tuxedo jacket and matching pants look more like silk pyjamas, but I think Tilda just about gets away with the look due to her accessories which include Lanvin mocha satin pumps and Pomellato jewels.

Does she get away with it? Or can you only see PJs?

Tilda Swinton In Lanvin – 2012 SAG Awards

The biggest shock of the 2012 SAG Awards didn’t come in an envelope tonight.

No, the biggest surprise was that Tilda Swinton didn’t wear Haider Ackermann.

The British actress chose a rather different look, wearing a custom Lanvin dress.

Known for her unique personal style, Tilda was quite on-trend with the rest of the carpet in the flowing off-white gown.

Long sleeves and her signature blonde crop maintained some of the classic Tilda look.

Even though Tilda does minimalist often, we can’t help but feel like this look falls flat, even though she opted for a berry lip colour, Pomellato statement rings and a gold Fred Leighton cuff.
