Tilda Swinton In Haider Ackermann – Roshi Porkar Spring 2015 Fashion Show

Tilda Swinton In Haider Ackermann - Roshi Porkar Spring 2015 Fashion Show

Tilda Swinton attended the Roshi Porkar fashion show during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2015 held at Erika Hess Eisstadion today (July 10) in Berlin, Germany.

I have been selecting couture looks with mannish undertones for the British actress on my red carpet wish list.

Here she works a part-women’s part-men’s look from her favourite designer Haider Ackermann, wearing a white satin shawl-lapel blazer from the Spring 2014 women’s collection paired with a checked seafoam-green wrap-front top and champagne-coloured check ankle-length trousers from the men’s Spring 2015 collection.

While I have never been a fan of ankle-swinging trousers, especially on taller women like Tilda, she does look impeccably sharp in her tailored separates (she can do no wrong in my eyes).

Nude pumps and barely there makeup, as always, completed her part-borrowed-from-the-boys look.

Tilda Swinton In Schiaparelli Couture – ‘Snowpiercer’ LA Premiere

Tilda Swinton In Schiaparelli Couture - 'Snowpiercer' LA Premiere

Tilda Swinton attended the 2014 Los Angeles Film Festival opening night premiere of ‘Snowpiercer’ held at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live on Wednesday (June 11) in Los Angeles, California.

For those of you who don’t get Tilda’s androgynous style, this Schiaparelli Couture frock will be quite a refreshing change.

As you know, the actress often wears menswear-inspired pieces – even her womenswear can often have a masculine feel – but she was all woman on this occasion.

Her maroon off-the-shoulder frock, festooned with colourful dots and draped details on both hips, was styled with pale-blue shoes which may not have made sense had it not been for the polka dots.

Opting for barely there, if any, makeup, the actress slicked back her blonde crop for an effortless look with a Pomellato ring providing the finishing touch.

I always say she is BDOTW worthy for me and that is the case here. Do you agree?

Tilda Swinton In Chanel – Chanel Cruise 2015

Tilda Swinton In Chanel - Chanel Cruise 2015Tilda Swinton traveled to Dubai for the Chanel Cruise 2014/2015 photo call, hosted at The Island in the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday (May 13).

Taking a slightly less mannish approach, the actress was naturally wearing a Chanel look, this one a black tweed-like dress from the Fall 2014 collection.

The full sleeves and defined waist created a subtly dramatic silhouette that the statuesque Tilda can certainly manage.

Black pumps perhaps were lacking inspiration, but they proved a classic touch whilst diamond door-knocker cocktail rings added a faint glint of luxe shine to the ensemble.

The overall effect translated as nearly cinematic with Tilda’s far-off glance and the background setting.

Tilda Swinton In Valentino – Late Night with Seth Meyers

Tilda Swinton In Valentino - Late Night with Seth Meyers

Tilda Swinton made a guest appearance on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’ to continue her promotional efforts for her movie ‘Only Lovers Left Alive’.

The Scottish actress has in a space of a week gone back and forth between menswear and womenswear; this time she opted for the latter, wearing a Valentino Fall 2014 monastic draped-cape chiffon gown styled with light-blue suede pumps.

I love how the colour brings out her green eyes, and the overall simplicity of the look.

You may remember that Cate Blanchett wore a similar look, enhancing it with a statement piece, but Tilda is all about keeping it simple, opting only for a selection of rings and bracelets to complete her look.

Tilda Swinton In Haider Ackermann – ‘Only Lovers Left Alive’ New York Screening

Tilda Swinton In Haider Ackermann Fall 2014 - 'Only Lovers Left Alive' New York Screening

Tilda Swinton attended the ‘Only Lovers Left Alive’ screening hosted by The Cinema Society and Stefano Tonchi, Editor in Chief of W Magazine, held at Landmark’s Sunshine Cinema on Wednesday (March 12) in New York City.

Following her mixed-reviewed Valentino Couture look, the Scottish actress went in the opposite – and most-favoured – direction, wearing an uber-sleek menswear look by Haider Ackermann.

The look typically featured a long overcoat with matching pants, styled with a brown blouse.

While this might feel like groundhog day to some, for me, as always, she rocks this signature look so well I will never tire of it.
