Tilda Swinton In Chanel Couture – Vogue Paris Foundation Dinner

As you know nothing gets me excited more than seeing Tida Swinton on the red carpet, but love for her Chanel Spring 2017 Couture Vogue Paris Foundation dinner look escaped me on this occasion.

I’m going to blame the poor lighting here for washing her out here, but aside from that I couldn’t get on board with the “Wizard of Oz”, “back to frontness” of it all.

So if someone like Tilda can’t make this design work, no one can.

Front Row @ Chanel Fall 2017 Couture

The front row of the Chanel Haute Couture Fall 2017 show at the Grand Palais on Tuesday (July 4) was especially star-studded this Paris Fashion Week season with so many stylish notables in attendance—and dressed in their Chanel best, naturally.

Kristen Stewart: I never imagined a cropped, sequin jumpsuit could look so relevant. But, I credit its seamless appeal to the minimal styling surrounding as Kristen makes it work with her sheer lack of accessories save for her classic black pumps and, of course, that edgy platinum buzz cut.

Pom Klementieff: The quintessential cool girl, Pom never ceases to impress with her inspired, impossibly chic style. My obsession continues with this look that provided an unexpected twist on classic Chanel tweed with this reverse jacket—with lapels cut low in the back—paired with black, cutoff denim and metallic heels. From the classic buttons, to the rebellious fray of the pant hem, to the singular sunny spark radiating from the quilted handbag, it’s the details here that make all the difference.

Cara Delevingne: Rounding out this trio of icy blondes, Cara also was on top form in her particular brand of edginess that actually didn’t involve a leggy mini this time out. Still, those slouchy, metallic trousers made her pins look a mile long. She rounded out her style warrior look with a Chanel choker and arm cuff along with a flirty, hot pink eye shadow that put plenty of pretty spunk into the look.

Tilda Swinton In Fendi – ‘Okja’ Seoul Press Conference

After the ‘Okja’ Seoul premiere, Tilda Swinton continued on to the film’s Seoul press conference on Thursday (June 14).

This Fendi Fall 2017 stamped print dress is one that is beautiful in movement. Static on Tilda, it could have been seen as a bit strict with the strong shoulder and sleeves.

That’s where the side view comes in, as a slit lightened the mood and added just a bit of sass to the patterned frock.

A red shoe and the addition of a bright lipstick would have also increased the vibrancy of the look.

Tilda Swinton In Chanel – ‘Okja’ Seoul Premiere

For the Seoul premiere of ‘Okja’ today (June 13), Tilda Swinton kept things ultra chic with an astronauts emblazoned chiffon dress from Chanel’s Fall 2017 collection

I like how the cinched waist and puffed sleeve details added a feminine touches without nullifying any of the mystic that comes with a Tilda Swinton look.

Adding a pop of colour via her brick red lipstick was welcome, but I kinda wish she would have incorporated more otherworldly metallics to reflect the vision behind Chanel’s collection.

Tilda Swinton In Schiaparelli Couture – ‘Okja’ New York Premiere

Tilda Swinton stole our hearts at the ‘Okja’ New York premiere on Thursday (June 8).

The style chameleon showcased one on her most breath-taking looks to date. Donning a Schiaparelli Couture gown, the actress continued her love affair with the designer.

The flowing white skirt and cuffed sleeves created beautiful movement on the red carpet as Tilda glided serenely in her fuss-free ensemble.

I particularly love the red heart motif which is mirrored in the gorgeous Schiaparelli shoes, which could have come straight out of a fairy-tale.

The slick of vibrant pink lipstick and icy white hair keep this look fresh and fun.

Tilda Swinton In Chanel – Cannes Film Festival 70th Anniversary Celebration

Tilda Swinton was bound to go for the alternative for the 70th anniversary screening this evening (May 23) during Cannes Film Festival.

I love that she stepped wearing a sparkling black tweed jumpsuit from Chanel’s Fall 2017 collection.

Those who thought her two looks by her BBF Haider Ackermann didn’t show her true colours, will no doubt be buoyed by this sleek offering which is demurely cut yet still dramatic.
