Tilda Swinton In Haider Ackermann – ‘Only Lovers Left Alive’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Tilda Swinton looked amazing when she took to the red carpet at the Palais des Festivals yesterday evening for the ‘Only Lovers Left Alive’ Cannes Film Festival premiere.

The British actress wore a custom Haider Ackermann gold ensemble which included shimmering fluid long-sleeve top and extra long pants.

When it came to styling her look, she concentrated her efforts on her hair, styling her blonde tresses into a punky quiff, much to her co-stars’ amusement.

To prevent her from not looking washed out; Tilda applied a rich red lip colour to complete her look.

I know not everyone appreciates Tilda’s individual style, but this is yet another polished, chic look for me.

Whatever she is selling, I’m always buying, however, for a custom look the pants could’ve been a tad shorter.

Tilda Swinton In Chanel – ‘Only Lovers Left Alive’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall

Tilda Swinton finally graced the Cannes Film Festival with her presence, attending the ‘Only Lovers Left Alive’ photocall at Palais des Festival in France this afternoon.

You won’t be surprised to see that she wore an androgynous look, but you may be surprised that is not her favoured designer Haider Ackermann.

On this occasion Tilda wore a Chanel Resort 2014 look, our first look at this collection off the runway – an honour usually reserved for Diane Kruger.

Tilda looked very elegant wearing a slightly flared navy jacket accented with three ‘CC’ buttons which she styled with wide-legged white pants.

Opting to go sans makeup, she swept her hair back off her face to complete her look.

I wonder which delight she will bring forth this evening.

Tilda Swinton In Haider Ackermann – ‘David Bowie Is’ Exhibition Private Viewing

Tilda Swinton attended a private viewing of the ‘David Bowie Is’ exhibition in partnership with Gucci and Sennheiser at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, England yesterday evening.

Working an androgynous look to the max like only she can, you won’t be surprised to discover she wore a Haider Ackermann Fall 2013 look. The designer clearly has the British actress in mind when designing his luxe menswear-inspired pieces.

Some may say we’ve seen this a thousand times from Tilda, but I love how she champions the designer’s fashion-forward aesthetic in such a unique way.

On this occasion, her look consisted of a precision-cut printed jacquard blazer, featuring long sleeves with a slit, a dual print shirt and wide-leg tweed palazzo pants.

Channelling her inner Bowie, she sported an ice-blonde quiff, with a frosty-pink lip colour completing her look.

As always, she floored me.

Tilda Swinton In Haider Ackermann – ‘Moonrise Kingdom’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

Despite all the PYT’s to hit the red carpet 2012 Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony and ‘Moonrise Kingdom’ premiere this evening, Tilda Swinton actually stars in this movie.

The actress, who has pretty much worn Haider Ackermann exclusively to Cannes for the past three-years, wore a look from the designers’ Fall 2012 collection.

Her custom copper gown with a pleated, fanned bodice is sublime, yet it doesn’t beat her epic Golden Globes gown.

Front Row @ Chanel Cruise 2013 Presentation

A number of celebrities headed to the gardens of Versailles on Monday for the Chanel Cruise 2013 presentation.

Tilda Swinton: The actress looked perfectly put together, wearing a crisp white button-down shirt and wide-legged pants, worn under a beautiful Chanel tweed overcoat. It’s hard to imagine Tilda in a frothy Chanel dress, a la Rachel Bilson, and this aesthetic fits her perfectly.

Vanessa Paradis: Wearing a multi-coloured Resort 2012 dress, the French actress looks absolutely gorgeous. I love how despite the asymmetrical strap, glitter and abstract print, this still looks very elegant and ladylike.

Ines de La Fressange: The French model looked very chic in an all-white ensemble from the Resort 2012 collection. As an ambassador for Roger Vivier accessories, Ines livened up her neutral dress with add-ons from the brand, including a silver clutch, sunnies and bright orange flats.

Alice Dellal: As the face of the Chanel Boy handbag, Alice was in attendance wearing a Chanel Spring 2012 Couture dress. Her embellished pink tea-length dress with pink ribbon embroidery works surprisingly well with her signature half-shaven head and messy eyeliner. This is the perfect ‘good meets bad’, ‘classic Chanel meets no bra’ kinda look. Teal python platforms accessorized the look.
