Tilda Swinton In Chanel – ‘Isle of Dogs’ Berlinale International Film Festival Photocall

Prior to cutting a sharp figure at the opening ceremony and ‘Isle of Dogs’ premiere, Tilda Swinton attended the ‘Isle of Dogs’ Berlinale International Film Festival Photocall on Thursday (February 15) in Berlin, Germany.

The actress was once again drawn to the dramatic cut of a Chanel suit as she wore another style from the Pre-Fall 2018 collection.

This time, she brought together brown tweed separates to form a striking ensemble. It was at once crisp and flowing from the wide-legged trousers with their graceful drape and the rounded cut of the jacket.

The silhouette suited her statuesque beauty, but what truly made it special for me was the colour.

She frequently wears white, black and ethereal pastels, but brown isn’t normally in her wheelhouse. Gold, yes, but brown, no.

It was a slight deviation and it has made me excited to see what else she will turn up in.

Tilda Swinton In Chanel – ‘Isle of Dogs’ Berlinale International Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

Tilda Swinton was on top form for the 68th Berlinale International Film Festival in Berlin, Germany this evening (February 15), where she took to the red carpet for the opening ceremony and ‘Isle of Dogs’ premiere alongside Greta Gerwig.

There is no doubt this Chanel Pre-Fall 2018 androgynous look is very much in tune with Tilda’s style, but I feel like I have exhausted my excitement over this when Keira Knightley wore a similar look during Sundance Film Festival.

Some said Keira’s look (number 72) resembled a Charlie Chaplin costume, but would you tag the same label to Tilda’s look (number 73)?

Tilda Swinton In Chanel – Lumiere Film Festival Opening Ceremony

Tilda Swinton was back on the red carpet for the Lumiere Film Festival Opening Ceremony on Saturday (October 14) in Lyon, France.

With a graceful fluidity of form, this Chanel Resort 2018 plisse jumpsuit would have easily been mistaken for a gown.

Yet, I loved its inherent femininity and effortless attitude, with Tilda showing us how to wear her version of the sheer trend with her signature sophistication of presence.

Again introducing the delight of a bold lip here, her candy-apple-red hue completed the look with a classic punch.

Tilda Swinton In Schiaparelli – BFI Luminous Fundraising Gala

Tilda Swinton joined Michelle Dockery on the red carpet for the BFI Luminous Fundraising Gala at The Guildhall on Tuesday (October 3) in London.

Elegant and understated, her Schiaparelli gown was impeccably cut to a relaxed fluid crepe silhouette which boasts a graceful milky texture.

Even though the look possesses plenty of intrigue with the multi-coloured mirrored glass mosaic embroidery, I was delighted to see a rare slick of hot-pink lipstick elegantly applied, along with coiffed curls.

I’ve always enjoyed Tilda’s feminine moments as much as her more androgynous moments, and this is no exception.

Which Was Your Favourite Tilda Swinton ‘Okja’ Promo Tour Look?

Tilda Swinton’s promo tour for ‘Okja’ started in the South of France and ended in the Far East.

It was short, but sweet; ranging from custom to couture.

I wanted to vote for her futuristic Haider Ackermann premiere look, but my heart belongs to the Schiaparelli Couture New York premiere dress. We often see her in fashion-forward pieces, but I was swept away by the simple elegance on this occasion.

Tilda Swinton In Chanel Couture – Vogue Paris Foundation Dinner

As you know nothing gets me excited more than seeing Tida Swinton on the red carpet, but love for her Chanel Spring 2017 Couture Vogue Paris Foundation dinner look escaped me on this occasion.

I’m going to blame the poor lighting here for washing her out here, but aside from that I couldn’t get on board with the “Wizard of Oz”, “back to frontness” of it all.

So if someone like Tilda can’t make this design work, no one can.

Front Row @ Chanel Fall 2017 Couture

The front row of the Chanel Haute Couture Fall 2017 show at the Grand Palais on Tuesday (July 4) was especially star-studded this Paris Fashion Week season with so many stylish notables in attendance—and dressed in their Chanel best, naturally.

Kristen Stewart: I never imagined a cropped, sequin jumpsuit could look so relevant. But, I credit its seamless appeal to the minimal styling surrounding as Kristen makes it work with her sheer lack of accessories save for her classic black pumps and, of course, that edgy platinum buzz cut.

Pom Klementieff: The quintessential cool girl, Pom never ceases to impress with her inspired, impossibly chic style. My obsession continues with this look that provided an unexpected twist on classic Chanel tweed with this reverse jacket—with lapels cut low in the back—paired with black, cutoff denim and metallic heels. From the classic buttons, to the rebellious fray of the pant hem, to the singular sunny spark radiating from the quilted handbag, it’s the details here that make all the difference.

Cara Delevingne: Rounding out this trio of icy blondes, Cara also was on top form in her particular brand of edginess that actually didn’t involve a leggy mini this time out. Still, those slouchy, metallic trousers made her pins look a mile long. She rounded out her style warrior look with a Chanel choker and arm cuff along with a flirty, hot pink eye shadow that put plenty of pretty spunk into the look.
