Andrea Riseborough In Matthew Williamson – 2013 Elle Style Awards

Andrea Riseborough hit the red carpet in a super textural design at the 2013 Elle Style Awards at London’s Savoy Hotel.

The ‘Disconnect’ actress looked effortlessly stunning in a silvery grey design from Matthew Williamson Pre-Fall 2013.

A casual v-neck cut and half-sleeve style was amped up thanks to a beautiful lace design and a soft and flowy feather hemline. Andrea definitely brought the glamour to the red carpet with this design.

The actress styled her cocktail-style dress with Christian Louboutin ‘Dufoura’ open-toe booties and a straightforward beauty style with her hair simply styled in a down look, a smoky eye and a pink lip.

I love the style on her, but would have loved a more delicate sandal and sleek low bun more. Do you agree?

Kate Hudson In Stella McCartney – 2013 Elle Style Awards

Kate Hudson certainly put the red in red carpet when she posed for photographers at the 2013 Elle Style Awards, held at London’s Savoy Hotel on Monday evening.

The actress has been longtime friends with Stella McCartney, so it’s no surprise she had her designer pal dress her for the fashionable night.

What was more surprising was the intensity of this strapless dress, what with its sculpted, backless bodice and illusion lace panels that followed the length of the entire gown.

To go with this va-va-voom moment, Kate swept her hair back into an effortless updo, which nearly seemed a bit casual for this look. She did avoid the temptation of a too-sparkly necklace, only putting on drop earrings and carrying a black Stella clutch.

Stella won the event’s best International Designer award. And, you guessed it: The prize was presented by none other than our lady in red, Kate.

Stella McCartney In Stella McCartney – 2013 Elle Style Awards

Fashion designer Stella McCartney attended the Elle Style Awards at the Savoy Hotel in London on Monday.

The British designer was dressed in none other than her own designs from Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2013.

She dressed in the same black and white trend as fellow attendee Chloe Moretz, who was also wearing a look by the designer.

Stella opted for crisp black trousers and a white blouse under a dramatic, high-neck black coat with an oversized floral embroidery.

Keeping to her usual beauty style, the designer completed her look with straight hair, a center part, a slight smokey eye, and a light pink lip colour.

Naomie Harris In Roksanda Ilincic – 2013 Elle Style Awards

Bond girl Naomie Harris hit a bright note on the red carpet at the 2013 Elle Style Awards, hosted at the Savoy Hotel in London on Monday night.

Exchanging her power gowns seen on the ‘Skyfall’ promo tour last fall, the British actress selected a more conservative Roksanda Ilincic above-the-ankle dress from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection.

Although the generously skirted, swishy look lacked a certain fashion flamboyance, the minimalist approach worked beautifully.

The delightful melon hue was colour-blocked with a flash of neon pink at the back, which injected some fun into the strict lines of this prim and proper design.

Naomie made the dress her own by cinching the waist with a skinny black belt and by swapping those heavy lookbook boots for an ultra-cool pair of black pumps, sculpted with metallic gold cut-outs, by Nicholas Kirkwood. A small Smythson clutch finished the look.

That mortarboard-like cap also had no chance atop her long, glossy locks.

For Naomie, it was a case of fashion kismet. Roksanda Ilincic won the inaugural award for Best Red Carpet Designer at the Elle event.

Chloe Moretz In Stella McCartney – 2013 Elle Style Awards

Chloe Moretz attended Monday’s 2013 Elle Style Awards at London’s Savoy Hotel perfectly on trend for spring in a black and white striped dress.

The young actress who just wrapped ‘30 Rock’ is a pro at dressing her age in a fun and youthful way all the while pushing the fashion limits. She did so again in a two-toned long-sleeved Stella McCartney dress and Christian Louboutin ‘Pivichic’ heels.

I love this look. I love the playful pattern and classic colour combination. I love that the actress went for a chic-meets-messy updo to allow the dress to shine. What I don’t love? The vertical seams that attract my eye more than the striking stripes. The seams make the tiny actress look wider than she actually is.
