Thandie Newton In Erdem – PaleyFest Los Angeles: ‘Westworld’

After a brief flirtation with blonde tresses, it was back to black for Thandie Newton who joined her co-star Evan Rachel Wood for the PaleyFest Los Angeles event for ‘Westworld’ on Saturday (March 25) in Hollywood, California.

With glistening embellishments, it appears Thandie got the same sequin memo as Sarah Paulson, opting for a vibrant Erdem Pre-Fall 2017 top and decorated with the designers signature florals.

Styled with pale pink Alexander McQueen pumps to amp up the Spring vibe, what I love most about Thandie’s style is that she marches to the beat of her own drum, isn’t afraid to take risks and most importantly has fun with fashion.

Thandie Newton In Self-Portrait – Launch Of The BBC Drama ‘Line Of Duty’

With awards season coming to a close on Sunday evening, Thandie Newton opted to showcase a new (temporary) honey blonde do for the launch of the BBC drama ‘Line Of Duty’ today (March 3) in London.

And with that, a new playful side to her style in this Self-Portrait Pre-Fall 2017 dress.

Infused with the label’s signature lace detailing and contemporary cuts, I really want to love this look but the bow is taking this down a slightly juvenile route for Thandie; for me.

Ditch the bow and this would’ve stayed in cool girl territory.

Thandie Newton In Schiaparelli Couture – 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Thandie Newton attended the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday night (February 26).

The star wore a sequined silver Schiaparelli Haute Couture Fall 2016 gown with an Atelier Swarovski fine jewelry choker.

Fashion should be fun, and oh my goodness is this look ever fun. It’s bold, it’s flashy and it brings a smile to my face. While extending the lining from the runway for real world wear was not only necessary, it actually makes the dress even more eye-catching, and of course those shoulder plates are absolutely stunning works of art, from the structure to the design.

Wearing a choker with this look was a stroke of styling inspiration as is wearing her hair long and sleek. I do honestly feel like the blue eyeshadow is overkill with everything else going on, but when you’re having this much fun with your gown, I can’t fault anyone for having some fun in the beauty department, too.

Are you swooning as hard for this look as I am?

Thandie Newton In Erdem – 2017 Elle Style Awards

Thandie Newton attended the 2017 Elle Style Awards on Monday (February 13) in London.

The floral fantasia we expect from Erdem made way for decorative, colourful embroidery which reflected beautifully in the light on Thandie’s two-piece Pre-Fall 2017 look.

With Thandie’s hair taking away the focus from her BAFTAs gown, she opted for a chic top knot on this occasion.

Like Felicity Jones, I much prefer this second look. This feels so much more relaxed and in keeping with Thandie’s usual style.

Thandie Newton In Osman – 2017 BAFTAs

Thandie Newton bought the glamour to the 2017 BAFTAs on Sunday (February 12) in London, England.

The actress chose this LBD (Long Black Dress) from Osman’s pre-fall 2017 collection, and although it didn’t break any fashion ground, it was subtly chic, what with its deep neck line, flower embroidery and peplum waist.

At first glance something seemed different with Thandie though, and it’s her hair. We usually see her with it either whipped up in an up-do, or slicked back behind her shoulders. Here though, it looks a little unruly and not finished properly.

Her makeup was on point though, with the dark lip and smoky eye.

Thandie Newton In Chanel – Charles Finch & Chanel Pre BAFTA Party

Thandie Newton made a vibrant entrance at the Charles Finch & Chanel Pre BAFTA Party on Saturday (February 11) in London.

The actress has never really met a hue she doesn’t like, and the brilliance of this Chanel Resort 2017 gown is indeed wrapped up in its vividly whimsical, retro truck print.

Removing the white shirt and hat from its original presentation ensured that this halter dress was ready for a fancier occasion—although every bit of its effortlessly chic flair stayed intact.
