Runway To Simon Cowell’s 50 Birthday Party

I held off posting this for a day hoping we would get better pictures, but this is the best it’s going to get.

I’m so gutted we don’t get to see a full length picture of Cheryl Cole wearing the same Versace dress which Blake Lively wore to the Costume Institute gala.

Cheryl is so petite, so I would have been interested to see if she could carry off such a dress.

I love the dress, but the 80s style hair is a buzz kill.

Chloe Green daughter of Sir Phillip Green look gorgeous wearing the same Balmain gown we have seen Beyonce Knowles wear on the red carpet.

Again I wish I could see more of the dress, which she is carrying in order not to drag her £10,000 gown on the floor.

My absolute favourite was Terri Seymour, the long suffering ex-girlfriend of Simon Cowell.

With the wind in her hair and the skirt of her Marchesa Resort 2009 strapless embroidered gown, she looks like an angel even though both Taylor Swift and Mary J Blige wore this same dress in different colours last year.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell wows in a white satin Atelier Versace Fall 2009 lace up gown, as she sparkles with a diamond and pearl necklace by Fawaz Gruosi.

Dannii Minogue and Amanda Holden both opted for Ralph & Russo gowns.

Dannii looked effortlessly chic in a black and gold Ralph & Russo dress, whilst Amanda was blinged out in a white heavily embellished gown.

Hopefully Hello! or OK! magazine will feature non photoshopped pictures of this event.

I hate those magazines when they photoshop guests together in pictures. It so incredibly obvious and tacky.

Who Wore Alexander McQueen Better? Marisa Tomei, Fergie or Terri Seymour

Whilst promoting “The Wrestler” last year Marisa Tomei wore this vivid electric blue Alexander McQueen satin shift dress, which she accessorized with a black McQueen skull clasp box clutch and black  pumps.

Fergie showed off her enviable legs in a slightly shorten version of the same dress when she walked the red carpet for the “2009 American Idol Grand Finale”.

Silver strappy heels and a stack of silver bangles were paired with her dress.

TV presenter Terri Seymour wore the same dress last week when she attended the London premiere of “Public Enemies”  in London, which she wore with black peep-toes.

As much as I love Marisa, her dress is the most creased plus it looks one-size too big for her.

Fergie wins for me as I love her silver accessories, plus she modified the dress to show off her best asset – her legs.

This dress is still available on sale from Net-A-Porter International for £616/€735.

Runway To Cheryl Cole’s 26 Birthday Party – Cheryl Cole in Alexander McQueen

Last night X Factor judge and Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole celebrated her 26th birthday at Vanilla Club in London.

The birthday girl was center of attention – as she should be – wearing a ombré fringed Alexander McQueen sleeveless dress with nude embroidered mesh panel on the bodice.

This is a very different look for the star desperate to shake off her WAG image.

Despite the dress leaving very little to the imagination and evoking images of ice-skaters at the winter Olympics, I think she just manages to pull it off, with her hair pulled tightly back and the complementary nude Christian Louboutin Prive slingbacks.

For some reason I have a feeling a lot of you will hate it.

When it comes to Terri Seymour I absolutely love her vibrant blue Versace Spring 2009 one-shoulder mini dress.

She always picks pieces that show-off her assets…her legs.

Apart from the colour I love the bell-shape of the skirt, the simple silver jewels and even her grey YSL Trib Two slingbacks with complete this stunning look.

You may remember that Donatella Versace wore this same dress recently, but she modified the skirt.

Girls Aloud band-mate Nicola Roberts attended the party wearing a mint green linen Paul & Joe Resort 2009 dress with white trim ruffle sleeves and matching mint peep-toe shoes and a black satin Chanel bag.

I adore this look. One of my favourites on a very slow week.

Kimberley Walsh joins fellow bandmate Nicola Roberts to celebrate Cheryl Cole’s 26th birthday standing out in a bright pink Adam sleeveless silk playsuit cinched at the waist with a retro black belt to match her peep-toe heels and Chanel shoulder bag.

Social Events Of The Week

Hopings Got Talent Fundraising Event, London

Lily Allen looked outstanding wearing a prom-esqe red Prada dress, teamed with taupe Fendi bow-front peep-toes, and a blue quilted Chanel bag. One of many that she owns.

Her make-up was flawless, I love the a pop red on her lips, and I adore her neat black bob.

Surprisingly well put together.

Sienna Miller tried her hand at a glam rock chick look by teaming a studded Temperley London cropped jacket, a studded vest and a studded Temperley London belt with faded black skinny jeans and studded ankle boots.

I glad Sienna has managed wear a casual look that doesn’t include a hint of boho, but she has over done things with the studded details. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if she was wearing studded pants.

Her look was completed with a Romanek crocodile clutch.

“Public Enemies” Chicago Premiere

French actress Marion Cotillard wore a very summery lilac strapless Christian Dior dress which she paired with silver open-toe heels and a double buckle belt.

A curly opdo and a brown clutch completed this stunning look.

Sam Fine’s “The Basics of Beauty” DVD Launch Party, New York

Without a single hair out of place Iman stepped a little out of her comfort-zone of glamorous gowns and tea dresses, to wear this black shimmering Derek Lam Spring 2009 jumpsuit with harem pants.

Divine as always.

2009 Los Angeles Film Festival’s Opening Night Premiere Of “Paper Man”

Christina Ricci kept her look simple wearing a purple dress with a black elasticated waist.

White pointy pumps and a quilted Chanel bag completed the look, but Christina opted out of wearing a bra.

Grand Opening Of The New BOA Steakhouse In West Hollywood, LA

Looking fabulous is really easy for Terri Seymour as the former model has a stunning figure.

Whether she’s wearing a designer gown or this strapless floral Topshop dress, it’s almost impossible for her to have an off day.

She completed her look with YSL Trib Two slingbacks.

8th Annual Four Seasons Of Hope Gala, New York

I feels like something is missing from Estelle’s Rachel Roy Pre-Fall 2009 black jumpsuit.

She has a pop of colour via the purple pumps, but I’m still missing something.

Barnes & Noble Book Signing, New York

Lauren Conrad opts for a cute casual style for her New York book signing at Barnes & Noble.

The star wore a very similar look to her last book signing.  Her she wore a loose fitting black and white top with black shorts and black Christian Louboutin pumps.

Wavy hair, a single bracelet and a megawatt smile completed the look.

Who Wore RM by Roland Mouret Better? Terri Seymour or Katherine Jenkins

TV personality Terri Seymour arrived at the “Women In Film’s 2009 Crystal + Lucy Awards”, last week looking drop-dead gorgeous wearing a RM by Roland Mouret Fluro dress with a pleated neckline.

The stunning dress flattered her amazing figure and the colour really popped against the red background.

Opera singer Katherine Jenkins posed pictures when she arrived on the first day of Royal Ascot 2009 in England earlier this week, wearing the same dress in an eye-popping fuchsia pink colour.

This colour is sold exclusively at Browns Fashion.

Her slim-fitting fuchsia pink dress matched her Philip Treacy hat with giant pink blooms. Nude heels completed the look.

In the posed picture above you’ll notice that Katherine tuck in the triangle shape detail on the neckline to show-off her cleavage *envy envy*, but in when she’s walking around the course the detail is back in place.

Both ladies opted for a bold colours but I adore Katherine pink version, plus her hat is amazing so she win this for me.

The coral dress and the pink dress are both available to purchase from Browns Fashion for £850/€1,006.75/$1,396.38.

Women In Film’s 2009 Crystal And Lucy Awards

Excuse me whilst I pick my chin off the floor.

I’ve waited my whole lifetime for Jennifer Aniston to wow me, and she does wearing this Prada Spring 2009 silver metallic crushed dress.

What I love about this look the most is the confidence she exudes. It’s oozing from every pore and for me that’s more captivating than the colour and the cut.

Jen could have gone for the safer runway dress as it’s in her favourite colour – Black, but she not only opted for the silver dress, but a shorten silver dress plus she didn’t press it like Nicole Kidman did.

This may not sit well with Jennifer Aniston’s loyal fans as this is such a huge departure from her usual style, but I love it.

Oh and I hate to be crude, but where did those twins sprout from?

This is the first time in a long time that Amber Valletta has proved her supermodel status.

She hasn’t impressed me much on her last few outings, but she works it out in this maroon sequined Proenza Schouler 2009 Pre-Fall dress.

I love the colour the cut-outs in the shoulders, and the contrast exposed zipper at the back.

She completed her look with her hair tied back with sweeping bangs, whilst wearing black patent Brian Atwood “Maniac” pumps and carrying a feathered Raven Kauffman Couture clutch.

Like Jennifer Aniston, I would have bet on Jodie Foster picking the black runway version of this Giorgio Armani Fall 2009 dress. But instead she wore a grey satin, shadow-print version with complementary strappy sandals and clutch.

Her dress is exquisite with the origami folds on the bodice, and the daring low cut.

I love that these women are stepping out of their comfort-zones at this event.

Chelsea Handler wore a two-tone Lanvin Spring 2009 dress, with satin champagne strappy heels.

We’re not used to seeing Chelsea this polished and spectacular, but she pulls this look off with great aplomb.

I hope she keeps up this sophisticated style of dressing, as I could really warm to her.

Mary McCormack tried to bring this grey strapless Yves Saint Laurent Spring 2008 dress up-to-date with a cage belt and YSL Trib Two’s.

It’s a nice look, but we’ve seen this dress so many, many, many times before.

Michelle Trachtenberg wore a Reem Acra knee-length dress covered in gold sequined leaf details and a contrasting waist band.

Her dress which she wears with black open-toes heels is nice enough, but it feels a bit too old for her.

Jenny McCartney looked out-friggin-standing wearing this crisp white pant suit.

Even though she has been dressing so sophisticatedly for a while now, I’m still always surprised at her fabulous looks.

Hair, make-up earrings, clutch, everything is perfect. My only bug-bear are her extremely long pants. I hate the thought of them picking up dirty as they drag on the floor.

Of all these looks Dania Ramirez’ is the one I would definitely purchase to go shopping at the mall on a sunny day. I love this summery look with the white tube top, floral tulip skirt and purple accessories, but it’s feels too casual for the red carpet.

Terri Seymour showed off that enivalbe figure wearing a coral RM by Roland Mouret Fluro dress with pleated neckline knee-length dress, paired with black patent pumps.

Selena Gomez wore a simple black H&M tank dress, with equally simple black pumps.

Elizabeth Banks set the bar really high for her red carpet looks during Cannes Film Festival, but I’m not really enjoying this look on her at all.

Her sparkling MaxMara dress is nice enough, but I have never been a fan of a sheer yoke. Reminds me too much of ice-skaters.

The actress completed her look with satin black pumps and a matching clutch.

Keke Palmer wore a printed maxi dress, which she accessorized with peacock earrings.

I really don’t like this dress as too much going on with the clashing prints plus those earrings are just hideous and so unnecessary.

Lynn Collins’ invite must have said fancy dress.

Christina Hendricks has such a stunning figure, and she embraces colour in many of her looks.

With that said I can’t help but be really disappointed with her all black, all boring look at this event, when so many women really step it up a notch.

“American Idol” Grand Finale 2009

Terri Seymour showed off her enviable figure wearing a black Versace Spring 2009 mini dress, with an asymmetrical strap.

I much prefer the strapless runway version.

Christina Applegate was so desperate to get inside and see who the winner was, we only briefly got to see her Rebecca Taylor Spring 2009 gold embellished tank.

Carrie Underwood matches a pink plaster to her flirty neon Jenny Packham Pre-Fall 2009 dress.

I love the fruity embellished shoulder straps.

Paula Abdul looked outstanding for the first time in a long time wearing a body-hugging gold strapless number, by Danish designer Rikke Gudnitz.

This has to be one her best looks ever. The gown very much reminds me of the Thierry Mugler dress which Beyonce wore recently.

Fergie is electric in her electric blue Alexander McQueen silk satin shift dress, with strappy Stuart Weitzman silver sandals, and silver bangles.

Heather Locklear arrived looking super casual wearing white jeans and a nude top, whilst her daughter got all dressed up, looking super cute in a striped and polka dotted Betsey Johnson Spring 2008 mini dress, with sequins all over.

Kara DioGuardi arrived wearing a gorgeous dramatic black strapless gown. Hopefully to mourn the end of her stint on American Idol.

She drives me mental, plus she slows the show down.
