I was going to take a day off today, but there were so many events last night, I have to keep up.

Anne Hathaway arrived wearing a Helmut Lang Spring 2009 pleated tapered smoking wool pants, with a black smoking wool tuxedo jacket.

I do like the suit, but I wish she had broken up the black a bit, even if it was just the heels.

Taraji P. Henson looked sensational wearing a David Meister black satin strapless cocktail dress with an interesting detail on the bodice.

Her look was completed with statement necklace, gorgeous strappy sandals and a pewter oval Mary Norton clutch.

Elizabeth Banks wore a navy blue asymmetrical dress with nude strappy sandals.

Viola Davis wore silver strappy sandals with a violet 3/4 sleeved dress, which had a black leather sash at the waist.

Kerry Washington look Fab-u-lous wearing Louis Vuitton Spring 2009 ensemble, which consisted of a black blazer, a silver and gold metallic obi belt, and a black feathered skirt.

Like I said at the end of last year, Kerry was one of the most consistent actresses to walk the red carpet in 2008.

Many of you argued that she didn’t take enough risks. I would say that looks to be changing in 2009, because there are no safe options from the Louis Vuitton Spring 2009 collection.

Kerry did not opt for the runway shoes. Instead she wore a pair of leopard print pumps that worked perfectly. ?

Halle Berry was equally impressive wearing a strapless nude Reem Acra Spring 2009 dress, with a gold metallic floral print.

I loved this dress, but the large folded detail at the back was a little too much for my liking.

She completed her look with gold matching Christian Louboutin slingbacks.

After visiting Gustavo Cadile on Thursday, I was really excited to see that Sanaa Lathan was wearing a dress I had seen in his studio.

The gorgeous chocolate dress, had a mesh overlay with stunning embroidered details, and sequins to give it some sparkle.

The dress was further decorated with a dark pink bowed sash at the waist, and smaller bows on the shoulders.

She completes her look with matching pumps, and a Mary Norton clutch.

GORGEOUS.

I am not crazy about Taraji P. Henson’s make-up, but I do like her Zac Posen dress. Very appropriate for ‘Ladies Who Lunch’.

Tia Mowry opted for a colourful dress with a lot of pizazz.

Tichina Arnold wore a black suit, with a ruffled hemmed skirt, but forgot to put a blouse under her jacket.

Her look was complete with YSL two tone heels.

Vivica A. Fox wore a gorgeous navy dress, with a stunning embellished neckline and pocket detailing.

She wore her dress with Balenciaga heels.

Garcelle Beauvious opted for a black dress with a textured white front bib, which she wore with black peep-toes.

Lauren London in all black with a white Chanel purse.

Tatyana Ali’s exotic gown seems a bit much for this event.

Confessions of a Shopaholic, London Premiere

I was hoping to be really wowed by Isla Fisher when she hit the promotional trial for this movie.

I applaud her for braving the cold in a short black Jasmine Di Milo dress, but essentially it’s just a LBD, with sequins and a low back. Hardly ground-breaking.

What I did love was her black and gold clutch by Lara Bohinc and her chic Jimmy Choo Seattle strappy sandals.

Liberty’s Reopening, London

The stunning Freida Pinto was honoured by reopening of luxury retailer Liberty’s in London.

She wore a Dries Van Noten coral draped dress, with a wide black belt and black straps.

She accessorized her dress with black studded Jimmy Choo strappy sandals, and kept her hair sleek straight.

This gorgeous look makes up for her Elle Style Awards Chanel dress.

13th Annual Art Directors Guild Awards, LA

Do you know what this is?

Up for Best Dressed Of The Week.

I am so in love with Taraji P. Henson. Whoever is styling her at the moment, deserves to give themselves a pat on the back.

The Oscar nominated actress looked outstanding wearing a Moschino Cheap and Chic Fall 2009 ivory double breasted tuxedo with a black satin lapels, which was adorned with a silver brooch.

What a refreshing twist on the classic tuxedo.

59th Annual ACE Eddie Awards, LA

Another event, another fab look. Taraji consistence on the red carpet is outstanding.

Her cowl-neck silver satin dress is worn with gold heels. I am not a fan of mixing metals, but this works.

Eden Is West Premiere, Berlin Film Festival

I for one can’t wait for the end of the Berlin Film Festival, because Tilda Swinton can get back to her edgy stylish self.

I see were she is going in this Lanvin blue dress, with her responsibilities as a judge for this festival, but looking at her lately is like watching TV on mute. I feel unfulfilled.

Jennifer Hudson pick up her outstanding new artist Award wearing a black Peter Sorenon dress, which had a feathered detail on the hip.

She completed her look with Givenchy lace ankle sandals.

Beyonce perform her song Halo wearing a gorgeous white gown, with a black band, and delicate embellishments on the bodice, which also cascaded down her skirt.

Jada Pinkett Smith wore a maroon strapless Monique Lhuillier gown, with a a vintage Judith Lieber belt.

I must say I am a bit disappointed the bigger stars did not take to the red carpet.

Taraji P. Henson added her increasing star quality to the red carpet wearing a gorgeous lemon halter neck mermaid Zac Posen gown.

I love the ruffled detail down the middle, and the layering of the hem.

A very chic Rosario Dawson walked the red carpet wearing a black silk taffeta Rafael Cennamo full-skirted dress.

Sanaa Lathan looked ravishing in this daring plunge neck jersey Donna Karan gown with black straps.

I am not a fan of Dakota Fanning’s nude strapless down. It feels too naked.

Alfre Woodard wore a Tadashi fuschia iridescent crinkled silk chiffon fly away cocktail dress. Her look was accessorized with a Mary Norton gold clutch.

Chandra Wilson impressed me on this red carpet.

Usually I find a fault, but the hair, the make-up, the jewels, the Daniel Swarovski clutch and her orange Pamella Roland Spring 2008 gown are all faultless.

Can you believe that this is Rudy Huxtable aka Keshia Knight Pulliam?

She stands out on the red carpet wearing an electric blue gown.

After Taraji, Vanessa Williams wore my second favourite gown on this red carpet. I love the colour, and jeweled detail on this one-shouldered gown.

Like Chandra, Tichina Arnold looks flawless. This baby blue gown really stands out and makes her glow.

Holly Robinson Peete wore a coral and silver Naeem Khan Spring 2008 patterned cocktail dress, with pewter strappy heels.
