Who Wore Victoria Beckham Collection Better? Taraji P. Henson, Carrie Preston or Selita Ebanks

There are two versions of Victoria Beckham’s Spring 2010 folded corset dress.

The commercial version which has been worn by Taraji P. Henson and Carrie Preston, plus the runway version which was worn by Selita Ebanks.

Taraji wore her version to the “Date Night” New York premiere back in April.

Her dress was accessorized with a gold cuff and matching heels.

Carrie walked the red carpet for the “True Blood” Season 3 Premiere in LA recently wearing the same dress earlier this month.

She opted for bold red accessories including Rene Caovilla heels.

A few days later, model Selita Ebanks arrived at the “Absolut Vodka Brooklyn Party” in New York wearing her dress with Christian Louboutin Tashaf heels.

Selita wins as the commercial version of this dress is not as appealing on the red carpet, although Carrie was a close second as I loved her accessories.

More From The 2010 BET Red Carpet

Here are the rest of the look from the 2010 BET Awards.

LaLa Vazquez opted for a black long sleeved sequin dress with black suede pumps.  Like Ciara she must have been sweating all the way down this red carpet.

Melody Thornton opted for silver and black striped dress which is probably from Bebe because it’s a totally Balmain Fall 2009 knock off.

Vivica A Fox wore the same Zuhair Murad Spring 2010 dress which we saw on the red carpet last week at Twilight premiere worn by Elizabeth Reaser.

Taraji P. Henson wore an ice Mandalay asymmetrical ruched cocktail dress.  She was one of the few not to wear long sleeves.

Now that Rihanna is no longer sporting her blonde ‘do, Keri Hilson has decided to take on the look.

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but I think shows how Keri lacks originality.

She also sports a long sleeved dress like so many on this red carpet, but her vintage Bill Blass dress had a cheetah print.

Jada Pinkett-Smith showed off her legs wearing a onesie.

I admire her bravery.  I would never leave the house looking like this, no matter how fashionable it was.

WNBA player Lisa Leslie wore a Stella McCartney Spring 2010 dress, whilst Brandy looked stunning wearing a textured grey dress with embellished Sergio Rossi heels.

Who Wore Gucci Better? January Jones or Taraji P. Henson

January Jones was the first to wear this Gucci Spring 2010 Ikat white and pink dress when she attended a Golden Globe Awards party in January.

Taraji P. Henson wore the same dress last week when she attended “An Evening at Cipriani with Mary J. Blige and Friends” at Cipriani Wall Street in New York.

January opted for the girlie approach pairing her look with simple satin pumps, whilst Taraji opted for an edgier look teaming her dress with Gucci black leather ‘Daryl’ platform sandals from the same Spring 2010 collection plus a Celestina clutch and David Yurman jewels.

For picking a more interesting pair of heels, I’ll give this Taraji.

“The Karate Kid” LA Premiere – Taraji P. Henson In Naeem Khan

Taraji P. Henson looked BDOTW worthy as she walked the red carpet at “The Karate Kid” LA Premiere yesterday.

She looked stunning wearing a Naeem Khan Fall 2010 dress.

Taraji’s dress was covered in circular mirror and bullion beads which she didn’t feel the need to add a necklace too.

This think this was a great idea as the dress is decorative enough on it’s own.

Her outstanding dress was paired with a Judith Leiber black clutch and sexy strappy Rene Caovilla sandals.

It looks like Taraji is getting back to her best.

2010 Vh1 Hip Hop Honors – Taraji P. Henson In Tracy Reese

The “2010 VH1 Hip Hop Honors” took place last night in New York.

Actress Taraji P. Henson attended the event showing off her sassy side wearing a taupe Tracy Reese Fall 2010 dress.

I love colour, and I’m surprised that I also like the black lace yoke which makes this dress more interesting.

I like that she was able to dress for this music event looking sophisticated and sexy at the same time.

Black peep-toes and a black clutch complete the look.
