Susan Sarandon In Paul Smith – ‘Bombshell: The Hedy Lamarr Story’ London Screening

Susan Sarandon was at the London screening of ‘Bombshell: The Hedy Lamarr Story’ on Thursday (March 8).

As last Thursday was International Women’s Day, she perhaps intentionally went for an androgynous power suit from Paul Smith.

However, so entranced was I by the royal-blue hue on her that the tailoring took second fiddle.

I’m sure most of us may have been wishing for a sultry sandal or pump to finish out the look with a bit of va-va-voom flair.

But, there was a good-natured irony to the pink-laced sneakers, and she rocked the smart-casual addition like nobody’s business.

Susan Sarandon In Alberta Ferretti & Geena Davis In Anel Verna – 2018 SAG Awards

We were treated to a ‘Thelma & Louise’ reunion at the 2018 SAG Awards on Sunday (January 21) in LA when Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis posed on the red carpet together.

Susan looked cool in an inky off-the-shoulder Alberta Ferretti gown. Rather than statement jewels, she accessorized with cat eye sunglasses with colourful arms.

The sunglasses might be the biggest talking point even though the legendary actress has worn dark eyewear on a number of red carpets.

Her cinematic partner in crime was outfitted in a similar deep hue, donning a luxurious brocade Anel Verna dress.

Separately, they would have made memorable impressions, but together, they will likely be the most unforgettable duo of the evening.

2018 Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Black was of course the shade of the night at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 7) with celebrities putting their own interpretations on the dress code.

Kelly Clarkson: The singer’s custom Christian Siriano gown will likely draw comparisons to Mary J. Blige’s Alberta Ferretti look because of the contrasting one sleeve. The dramatically full skirt on Kelly’s matched the joy of the shimmering gold fabric. The pockets were a delightful addition.

Allison Janney: The Best Supporting Actress winner’s Mario Dice dress was captivating with the sleek fluidity of the skirt contrasting the beautiful detailing of the bodice. This reinvigorated cut-outs.

Susan Sarandon In Zac Posen – 2017 Emmy Awards

Susan Sarandon knows what works for her: a low neckline and a nipped waist. And she stuck with the winning formula at the 2017 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 17) in Los Angeles.

Looking decades younger than her 70 years, she showed off her shape in a custom Zac Posen gown. I had a slight sense of déjà vu when I saw the navy dress given her penchant for dark colours, but I won’t fault her for it when the shade looked so lovely with her red hair.

The Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie nominee mastered the voluminous sleeve trend while others at the awards show were less successful.

I also loved it when she donned her sunglasses, pictured here in her hand.

Susan Sarandon In BOSS – The Leisure Seeker (Ella & John) Venice Film Festival Premiere

Susan Sarandon attended ‘The Leisure Seeker (Ella & John)’ premiere during the 74th Venice Film Festival on Sunday (September 3), with her favourite accessory in place; her shades.

The actress wore an eye-popping BOSS by Jason Wu gown which exuded sensuality and enhanced her curvaceous figure.

I think the look benefited from the Chopard earrings and rings, but the out-of-place cuff wasn’t needed.

To go with her custom gown, elegant BOSS accessories completed her red carpet look.

I’m praying I’ll look this good at 70-years-old.
