2015 Glamour Woman of the Year Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Glamour Woman of The Year Awards

There were many more lovely ladies besides Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Kate Hudson and Kerry Washington who attended the 2015 Glamour Woman of the Year Awards at Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday (June 2) in London, England.

Gemma Chan: The British actress served up visual splendour wearing an Mary Katrantzou’s intricately printed ‘Cassandra’ dress. I’m glad she kept the spirit of this look alive with a moss-green clutch.

Gillian Anderson: There was a distinct lack of drama at this event, so up stepped Gillian Anderson wearing a nude caped gown by Australian couturier Paolo Sebastian. Some might find this a touch dated, but I’m too busy diverting my eyes away from the upper mid section.

Louise Redknapp: The British presenter usually finds herself at near the top of the my best dressed list, but that wasn’t to be the case on this occasion. While I loved the gorgeous cobalt-blue hue and her breakaway from the expected, this Proenza Schouler basket weave fringe dress fails to flatter, plus her pumps were really dull. The only plus side was the complementary Bottega Veneta clutch.

Burberry ‘London In Los Angeles’ Event

Burberry 'London In Los Angeles' Event

Burberry celebrated its ‘London In Los Angeles’ event, which took place at the iconic Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, California. As with any Burberry event, there were of course many celebrities in attendance.

Jaime King: I am not sure what kind of statement the actress was trying to make here, but words fail me.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: Oozing sex appeal without trying, the British actress, who is very much part of the Burberry family, wore a contrast print mini from the Fall 2015 collection. I’m sure even the ‘Legs or Boobs’ police will let off the model for looking so drop dead gorgeous.

Rose Byrne: The sheer trend was a hot one on this red carpet. Unlike Jaime, I don’t feel repelled by this look as Rose pulls off this look with style and effortless grace. The gold accessories really enhanced the luxe feel of this look.

Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco Mid-Winter Gala

Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco Mid-Winter Gala

Kate Mara, Kate Bosworth and Suki Waterhouse attended the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco Mid-Winter Gala, presented by Dior on Friday (March 27) in San Francisco, California.

Kate Mara: The ‘House of Cards’ actress wore a Dior Fall 2013 Couture strapless dress with intricate embroidery. This look was my favourite of the bunch for both its colours, flair and lady-like style. Kate’s mantra has always been less is more, so she just accessorized with a Dior clutch and Dior Fine Jewellery.

Kate Bosworth: I don’t know why, but this red and white Dior Spring 2014 Couture strapless dress didn’t quite work for me on Kate. I don’t think the style of dress is doing anything for her, plus I really dislike her hairstyle here. It feels too casual for the gown. A glossy red lip and white Dior clutch completed the look.

Suki Waterhouse: The model was showcasing her credentials working a black Dior tiered gown graced with feminine allure. The look was simply styled, with a Dior bracelet and wavy tresses. I know many of you are not fans of her style, so how does this look fair?

Suki Waterhouse In Reem Acra – ‘Insurgent’ New York Premiere

Suki Waterhouse In Reem Acra - 'Insurgent' New York Premiere
Suki Waterhouse was also in attendance at the ‘Insurgent’ New York premiere, held at Ziegfeld Theater on Monday (March 16) in New York City.

With co-star Shailene Woodley going for a slinky and simple black gown, Suki veered in the opposite direction in her Reem Acra Spring 2015 blush-nude confection with lace embroidery and alluring side cutouts.

Having her own fairytale moment, the model-actress struck the right chord between sexy and sweet in this enchanted design that was diaphanously ethereal but, fortunately, none too precious.

What also made this look work was the gracefully, unforced styling. Relaxed, tumbling waves, barely-there makeup and rows of rings were all that were needed to pull together the mod princess statement.

Suki Waterhouse In Burberry – 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Suki Waterhouse In Burberry - 2015 Vanity Fair Party

Suki Waterhouse made an appearance at the 2015 Vanity Fair Party at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts last night (February 22) in Beverly Hills, California.

She wore a sleeveless, crimson-colored Burberry gown with a deep V neck and voluminous skirt.

To offset the simply chic look, she wore two dramatic cocktail rings and pulled her hair away from her face with basic pins.

Barely-there makeup and enviable brows complete the understated beauty look.

I just wish someone had steamed her gown after she got out of her car! The wrinkles are very distracting, but the look is lovely, nonetheless.
