Front Row @ Tom Ford Spring 2018

Tom Ford returned to New York Fashion Week with his Spring 2018 show taking place in front of a celeb-packed front row yesterday (September 6).

Kim Kardashian: Forever the shy retiring type, the reality star wore a latex LaQuan Smith dress which I can only imagine took a team of people to help her get into it.

Russell Westbrook: The baller wore a shawl collar suit which I loved for its sharp dapper appeal, until I got to the length of the trousers.

Ansel Elgort: The ‘Baby Driver’ actor didn’t have any issues in the trouser leg department, but with that colourful shimmering Tom Ford jacket, my eyes were immediately fixed to the top part of his look anyhow.

Suki Waterhouse In Max Mara – ‘Baby Driver’ New York Screening

The hype surrounding ‘Baby Driver’ continued to grow at the New York screening on Monday (June 26), with Suki Waterhouse in attendance.

Bringing a city chic approach, Suki opted for a Max Mara Pre-Fall 2017 seafoam dress.

I love the ruching which adds a measure of drama without going overboard. The sheer sleeves add another layer of interest.

Her styling is as effortless and laid-back as her dress. A simple tousled hairstyle looks fuss-free while her Salvatore Ferragamo shoes add a hint of copper shimmer to this ensemble.

Suki has gone with a more casual aesthetic than the structured ice queen look seen on the runway, which do you prefer?

Suki Waterhouse In Mugler – ‘The Bad Batch’ New York Rooftop Screening

Suki Waterhouse brought a new meaning to the power suit on Wednesday (June 21) with her appearance at ‘The Bad Batch’ New York Rooftop screening.

She demanded attention in her bold jacket dress from Mugler’s Fall 2017 collection.

The extreme pointed shoulders gave a retro feel which was mirrored in Suki’s eccentric blue eyeshadow and tousled hair.

I particularly love the contrast of the classic black lapels with the midnight blue shine of the fabric.

There was a fun disco-vibe to this look, but did this edgy ensemble look better on the runway?

Suki Waterhouse In David Koma – ‘The Bad Batch’ LA Premiere

Suki Waterhouse oozed utilitarian chic at the premiere of ‘The Bad Batch’ on Monday (June 19) in Los Angeles, California.

I love the olive green colour of her David Koma Fall 2017 dress which was paired with some black ribbon details which call to mind camouflage, but in a very fashionable – and sultry – way.

The strictness of the structure feels masculine but is softened by the feminine flared hem and the built-in bra and mini skirt layer, bringing a perfect balance to this look.

I love the designer’s vision of an edgier look, however, Suki swapped the runway lace-up boots for strappy heels and the sleek straight hairstyle for a wavy one, yet still possessed a military mood.

Are you onboard with Suki’s interpretation?

Models @ The 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards

It was all cheekbones and centre-partings as models descended on the 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday (June 5) in New York City.

Bella Hadid: The model is a fan of flashing flesh but kept it sophisticated in this blazer-style dress from Off-White Fall 2017. Top marks for the flared sleeves and retro full fringe. We’ll ignore the pale pink lunch bag style clutch.

Maye Musk: I do love the humour and personality in this Rosie Assoulin Spring 2017 dress. It’s unashamedly extroverted and doesn’t apologise for its bling accessories courtesy of Atelier Swarovski Fine Jewelry.

Karen Elson: Ah, red and green a hallowed combination that almost never goes wrong. Unfortunately, the tried and tested combo falls short here. The Anna Sui Fall 2017 dress is a confusing array of frills, draping, and puff sleeves. Combined with heavy shoes, this look is overwhelmingly bad.

Suki Waterhouse In Gül Hürgel – Out In LA

Suki Waterhouse was serving up some seaside nostalgia in West Hollywood, California on Wednesday (April 19).

My feeling is many won’t like this as Suki’s look never seems to go down well with the majority here, but I was drawn to retro elegance meets contemporary vision in this Gül Hürgel dress.

I love how the uniqueness of this maxi style and how it descends from the sensual top into a billowy tiered gipsy skirt.

Thoughts?
