Red Carpet Fashion Awards

For this edition of Who Wore it Better? I’m taking it to the streets.

In my Best Of 2008 posts, I gave Victoria Beckham the Best Sidewalk Style Award, because the sidewalk is her catwalk, and no one can out do her when it comes to shopping in 6″ heels and Balenciaga dresses to go shopping at The Grove.

This was evident when she breezed through Heathrow airport back in November.

Not one to wear tights and ruin an ensemble whilst it was raining in London -see why I love her- Victoria wore her taupe Stella McCartney Felt military coat, with a matching taupe Hermes bag, brown hat, and Christian Louboutin Arielle Ankle Boots.

Anna Hathaway was spotted in New York wearing the same coat in a creamy beige colour, when she made her way to The Early Show in New York on Monday.

Like Victoria, Anne wore her coat with celebrity shades, and unbuckled but tied at the waist.

As much as I am crushing on Anne at the moment, and as much as she looks fabulous giving Victoria a run for her money in her playground. I have to give this to VB.

The coat, the hat, the bag all compliment each other perfectly, plus she doesn’t have a stylist putting her together, so she deserves more credit.

You can buy the taupe Stella McCartney coat Victoria is wearing from the international Net-A-Porter site for £1,175/€1,570.

Chloe Sevigny is one person who you can never predict on the red carpet. She can go sophisticated, she can go quirky, she can go grungy. Whatever the weather, she always looks effortlessly perfect.

Here is a classic example. The actress is wearing a pale blue shirt dress, with a stunning jeweled necklace, tan strappy sandals and carrying a metallic purse.

My supermodel girl crush Coco Rocha, takes a night off fierce posing, to smile so sweetly wearing a black Stella McCartney Fall 2008 dress.

This silk chiffon dress flows from the beautiful black embroidery which sits slightly off the shoulder, and drapes into a puffball shape at the hem which is also embroidered.

Completing her look she carries a cream clutch, and wears two-tone cream and black heels.

Stella McCartney poses with legendary singer Chrissie Hynde, wearing a tuxedo jumpsuit from her own Spring 2009 collection, over a simple white tee.

Only Stella can make this look cool.

Helena Christensen does sexy so well wearing this nude paillette covered Stella McCartney dress.

The face of the new very raunchy Agent Provocateur campaign, looks so incredibly sexy.

This tan colour of Selita Ebanks’ Gianfranco Ferré gown is so buttery against her gorgeous skin.

She carries her hair cut so well.

Noemie Lenoir wearing a bright yellow Rachel Roy dress, to keep away the winter blues.

Tamara Mellon sure does wear a lot of flowing gowns, but this is not surprising since this look suits her so well, and is very much the trait of the Halston collection, which she recently revived.

Dana Delaney needs a stylist….immediately.

Surprisingly this is by Pucci.
