Looking at Stella McCartney’s Resort 2010 collection, we’ve seen it before.

Not in a bad sense, but we’ve actually seen some of these pieces previewed by Stella, over the past few weeks, because as ever Stella is way ahead when it comes to fashion.

She’s been wearing her Resort collection since the Met Gala last month, arriving with her ‘angels’ wearing a lace jumpsuit. At the ‘Time’s 100 Most Influential People In The World’ red carpet, were she wore the lace bowed skirt.

Most recently she wore a floral sculptural Spring 2010 dress to the ‘Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition Preview Party’ in London, and a white playsuit was worn to the ‘Opening Of The New Contemporary Art Centre’ in Venice.

She hasn’t been keeping her new designs to herself. Two of her Met Gala angels, Liv Tyler and Kate Hudson, have also wore pieces from this collection.

I really love this collection. It’s playful, and powerful, yet fun, flirty and feminine.

Agyness Deyn seems less annoying lately, mostly because she isn’t shoved in my face 24/7.

The model wore a gunmetal grey Giles Fall 2009 ultra mini dress, on a very mild evening in London, whilst carrying a blue House of Holland bag in the shape of a Monopoly house.

The super, who is only 5ft 8in, looks super-sized wearing a pair of black and white Christian Louboutin Differa sandals.

The berry shade of lippie doesn’t work for me, but was the right choice for her overall look, unlike her bubble gum pink nails.

Christopher Kane’s designs are so unique and so well structured, I’m surprised we don’t see more of his pieces on the red carpet.

Yasmin le Bon wore a nude Christopher Kane high neckline dress from his Spring 2009 collection, which is detailed with horizontal and vertical black leather scallops covering the dress.

The exquisite detail of this show-piece makes a very strong style statement, and I’m glad Yasmin pulls this of so effortlessly.

A fabulous dress, needs fabulous heels, and Yasmin doesn’t disappoint in that department either, wearing a stunning pair of Christian Dior Spring 2009 heels.

I don’t tend to find socialites very interesting, but I love Poppy Delevigne’s Chanel Spring 2009 gown.

She’s totally breath-taking, as she wears the gown which just an elegant grace, that she totally puts the model in the shade.

I much prefer the gown, without the brooch chain detail.

Erin O’Connor was a regal as ever, wearing black Temperley London Fall 2009 gown, with gold embroidered details.  She opted out of wearing the sari, which was presented on the runway.

Stella McCartney is so ahead of the game, I think it’s safe to assume that this glorious floral confection, with bold shoulders, and sculptural hips will be part of her Spring 2010 collection

Her shoes are also pretty spectacular, but they look like they’d pinch after a while.

Regardless, they are on my wish list. I like a good challenge.

I normally love what Beth wears, but this string vest look, I can’t get on board with.

Beth joins a long list of stars who have fallen for the ever so lust worthy Louis Vuitton Spicy heels.

All I can say about Alexa Chung is, I like her pink Chanel bag. The rest is to be expected, especially her two-tone hair.

I know many don’t share my love for Michelle Obama style choices, as many of you are still reeling over her wearing a cardigan to meet the Queen of England, but I did sigh with admiration when I saw her at the event.

The First Lady wore a simple black sleeveless Michael Kors gown, with a Peter Sorenon corset, accessorizing with multiple strands of necklaces, and simple diamond studs.

She wore her hair pulled back, her poise was authoritative, yet she’s so incredibly charming.

I curse the stand being in front of her, because I think the most interesting part of the dress is the corset around her waist, which gives her dress very a definitive shape.

Oh Mrs O….*sighs*

Kate Hudson, one of Stella McCartney’s Met Gala Angels on Monday night, arrived wearing a sexy ivory Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2009 suit, consisting of a herringbone jacket, trousers and silk blouse.

Her look was complete with her hair tied back loosely, and gold Giuseppe Zanotti peep-toes.

I would’ve loved to have seen Kate rock this suit without the blouse, but it won’t have been appropriate for this particular occasion.

I wish to thank Liv Tyler for restoring my faith in this particular Stella McCartney Fall 2009 lace cut-out dress.

On the runway it was grey, and the illusion was too milky to be considered an illusion.

I love Liv’s black version, which she playful poses in showing of her Cartier ring.

Time 100 Honoree Stella McCartney, is quite possibly one of the coolest chicks on this planet.

She was of course head-to-toe in her own pieces consisting of a black cotton t-shirt, black lace embroidered skirt, organza shrug and black strappy platform sandals.

The shrug and skirt are so divine.

Diane Sawyer look oozes sophistication wearing a black off-the-shoulder top, with a ivory and black striped skirt.

Jimmy Fallon arrived with his gorgeous wife Nancy Juvonen.

She looked amazing wearing a Marchesa one shoulder navy gown, with a silver embellished asymmetrical neckline.

You may remember Georgina Chapman, the designer of this dress, wore it to the Metropolitan Opera last year.

Designer Vivienne Tam quite shamelessly, but harmlessly uses this event to promote her self designed HP Netbook.

The designer complimented the background, wearing a red embroidered dress from her Spring 2009 collection.

Claire Danes gave us the cold-shoulder with her black jersey dress, with cut-out shoulders.

M.I.A. was at this event, looking quite muted by her standards.

She wore the celebrity must have Alexander Wang suede and leather motorcycle jacket, under a Preen Line black dress. Wha…no sneakers???

Stella McCartney attended the Forces For Nature Benefit in New York last night, wearing a blue satin mini dress, with a sheer panel yoke, from her Fall 2009 collection.

The dress looks far better on the model, but I love how she accessorized her look with those edgy patterned boots, which are also from her Fall 2009 collection.

Stella’s father Paul McCartney was there, with his partner Nancy Shevell. She supported her could-be-daughter-in-law, by wearing a piece from Stella’s Spring 2009 collection.

The sequin jumpsuit was covered up by a felt coat, for which I was thankful. This is not an easy look to pull off. Amber Valletta did, but being a former model, that’s to be expected.

Nancy completes her look with a pair of kitten heels. This was the nail in the coffin for this terrible look. She how she looked without the coat below.

Ziyi Zhang managed to redeem herself, following two disappointing looks last week.

She wore a black Stella McCartney bandage dress, with tights, black sandals and a black clutch.

The halter-neck dress, has cut-out shoulders, and off-the-shoulder cap sleeves.

I’m not sure about the shell necklace. It looks kinda awkward, as I think the dress speaks for itself, and doesn’t need anything extra.

Diane von Furstenberg went against that Stella McCartney dress code, and wore a LBD, with her own Fall 2009 geometric print black and white coat, with Christian Louboutin sandals.

I love her infectious smile.

Following what the Olsen twins wear is not always easy, because they’re more likely to be wearing vintage pieces.

On this occasion Mary-Kate Olsen has been papped twice wearing black Stella McCartney Mesh basket sandals.

The open-toe slingback heels are made of synthetic leather, and have a basket mesh weave across the front of the heel.

They retail at $995 and £425/€545 from Net-A-Porter. These shoes also came is a nude colour, which was worn by Katie Holmes, but they have since sold out.

Mary-Kate is carrying a studded duffel bag named “Coco”.

The bag has been in huge demand since Mary-Kate was spotted carrying it. The fresh off the Alexander Wang Fall 2009 runway bag, isn’t due to hit stores in July though.

“The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button” Japan Premiere

In 2008 Angelina Jolie wore nothing but black, so I was praying for colour from her on the red carpet in 2009.

The problem is all her non-black dresses, have been so-so, whereas this black Reem Acra satin wrap dress is so divine on her. She is radiant.

This is the best she has looked this year for me.

“Changeling” Tokyo Press Conference

Despite the conservative nature of Angelina Jolie’s dove grey Ralph Lauren dress with cap sleeves, she looked gorgeous at her Changeling press conference in Tokyo today.

She wore her dress with her favorite pumps by Stuart Weitzman.

Byron & Tracey Salon Party, LA

Speaking of gorgeous, no one does the boho/hippy look better than Nicole Richie. For her it’s not a trend, just a style that she feels comfortable with, and suits her perfectly.

Her kimono-style blue and white printed Issa dress doesn’t drown her tiny frame, in fact it’s a perfect fit.

She completes her look with a snake-skin clutch.

Stella McCartney Paris Store Opening

Wearing her own head to toe designs, Stella McCartney opens her new Paris store with her father by her side.

Dasha Zhukova is known to many as just the girlfriend to billionaire Roman Abramovich, but she is also the designer of Kova & T.

The designer looks really cute wearing on of my favourite knit dresses from the Rodarte Fall 2008 collection.

VH1 Presents Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Bash, Florida

Kim Kardashian wore a black strapless mini Ina Soltani dress with a feathered hem. She wore her dress with a black cropped jacket, and YSL Trib Two heels.

The dress is cute, but it looks like she is growing out her bangs already, and it’s very much in the in-between awkward phase.

Beyonce Knowles and Olivia Wilde’s Reem Acra gown was not the only re-run at the Golden Globe Awards.

Salma Hayek was the first to wear this pearl Stella McCartney silk asymmetrical gown, with a beaded detail on the shoulder, when she attended an The Art Of Elysium event during November.

The actress wore her dress, with very questionable headgear.

We saw Amanda Seyfried grace the red carpet on Sunday at the Golden Globe Awards wearing the same gown, which she complimented with a Daniel Swarovski clutch.

As much as I love Salma, this gown suits Amanda’s milky complexion better.

I am sure you will not be surprised to know that this dress is now sold-out on Net-A-Porter.com.
