Sophie Turner In Louis Vuitton – 2017 SAG Awards

Sophie Turner took a striking turn on the red carpet of the 2017 SAG Awards in LA on Sunday (January 29).

The ‘Game of Thrones’ actress wore a red Louis Vuitton gown with LV high jewelry.

I am so on board with Sophie’s entire vibe! The asymmetrical bodice of the gown adds a fun edge to an otherwise classic silhouette and her beauty look is the perfect mix of glamorous (those deep red lips) and young Hollywood (those purposefully long roots). Get. it. girl!

Sophie Turner In Louis Vuitton – Variety’s Celebratory Brunch

Sophie Turner was striking in blue at Variety’s Celebratory Brunch on Saturday (January 28) in West Hollywood, California, where her look echoed her latest few ensembles.

Her affinity for Louis Vuitton continues to run strong, as she again wore the brand with this sheer lace tunic top and cropped trousers from the Spring 2017 collection.

It’s a tricky collection to wear, but that has not seemed to dampen Sophie’s willingness to rock it. While the colour here was remarkable, the execution left something to be desired—beginning with her strapless bra that was visible from the side.

A Louis Vuitton petite malle clutch and the brand’s colour-block booties finished the top-to-toe LV look.

Sophie Turner In Louis Vuitton – BAFTA Tea Party, Golden Globe Awards & BAFTA Nominations

Sophie Turner joined the other stars at the BAFTA Tea Party on January 7, 2017 and the 2017 Golden Globe Awards the following evening before heading to the BAFTA nomination announcements on January 10 in London, England.

BAFTA Tea Party: The ‘Game of Thrones’ actress brought her own version of fashion armor in a Louis Vuitton ensemble highlighted by gold-embellished cropped pants and a bold-shoulder shirt topped off by a gold choker neckline. Paired with stylized booties, this was a striking look that few could pull off with the power and grace that Sophie did.

Golden Globe Awards: Sophie again used her statuesque height to her advantage with another Louis Vuitton look that was just as statement-making as her prior BAFTA Tea Party one. This asymmetric draped, sheer cutout gown, sprinkled with crystals, may not find favour among some who may fault its modernized version of ’80s excess and exposed shoulder pad, but she wore it well regardless.

BAFTA Nominations: From maximal to minimal, she switched fashion lanes to a simplified but incredibly chic Victoria Beckham forest green pant suit with a streamlined ponytail to match the straightforward style vibe.

2015 Met Gala Roundup

"China: Through The Looking Glass" Costume Institute Benefit Gala - Arrivals

A flurry of even more bold names descended on red carpet of the ‘China: Through the Looking Glass’ 2015 Met Gala, hosted at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4), where their colourful variety of looks only contributed to this year’s fashion extravaganza.

Anna Wintour
: As the gala co-host, the ‘Vogue’ editor-in-chief dressed thematically (for her, anyway) in a Chanel Spring 2015 Couture gown featuring dimensional, all-over poppy embroidery, which had been lengthened from the runway’s original shorter version. She should have maintained her signature cap sleeve, as the flower petal statement shoulders translated as a bit cumbersome, despite their inherent artistry.

Bee Shaffer: Like her mother, Bee also found inspiration in flowers, opting for a mahogany blossom gown by Alexander McQueen. I much preferred this look to Anna’s, especially with the enchantment of the beautifully embroidered Chinese cranes that alighted down the back of the dress.

Sophie Turner In Chalayan – ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 5 Premiere

Sophie Turner In Chalayan - 'Game of Thrones' Season 5 Premiere

Sophie Turner attended the HBO ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 5 premiere at the San Francisco Opera House on Monday (March 23) in San Francisco, California alongside her castmates.

Like Maisie and Nathalie, Sophie’s off-the-shoulder Chalayan Spring 2015 flirty frock was loaded with plenty of youthful, summery appeal.

Along with the print, I love the sculptural elements of this frock and its jagged hemline.

While I don’t mind the white pumps, I would’ve preferred they had been off-white to stark white, as they almost dominate the look.

A Sophie Hulme maroon clutch, gold hooped earrings and a high bun rounded out Sophie’s look.

2015 SAG Awards Red Carpet Roundup

SAG 1

Here is a quick roundup of some of the other attendees of the 2015 SAG Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (January 25) in Los Angeles, California.

Caitriona Balfe: The ‘Outlander’ actress certainly caught my attention in her saffron-hued Solace London strapless gown styled with red Gianvito Rossi sandals, a blood-orange Rodo clutch, Vhernier earrings and a Neil Lane ring. This is one of my favourites of the night.

Danielle Brooks: The ‘Orange is the New Black’ actress stunned wearing a navy Christian Siriano gown. The body-enhancing gown with the delicate tulle overlay on the bodice and the sweeping train is easily one of her best looks to date. She looked radiant.
