Sophie McShera In Osman – ‘Cinderella’ London Premiere

Sophie McShera In Osman - ‘Cinderella’ London Premiere

Sophie McShera attended the premiere of ‘Cinderella’ held at the Odeon Leicester Square this evening (March 19) in London, England.

The ‘Downton Abbey’ star channelled her inner Grace Kelly wearing a gorgeous Osman one shoulder asymmetrical gown with a black beaded bodice and bubbly pink skirt from the British designers Red Carpet Capsule collection.

This promo tour has really been the making of her as the young star has she’s gone from strength to strength with each red carpet look. I love how this look balances grown up elegance with youthful vitality.

The adorableness didn’t end at her frock, as the look was styled with a beautiful pair of Sophia Webster ‘Flutura Flamingo’ sandals.

Sophie McShera In Andrew Gn – ‘Cinderella’ LA Premiere

Sophie McShera In Andrew Gn - ‘Cinderella’ LA Premiere

Sophie McShera attended the premiere of Disney’s ‘Cinderella’ held at the El Capitan Theatre on Sunday (March 1) in Hollywood, California.

The ‘Downton Abbey’ actress, who stars in this movie as Drizella, one of Cinderella’s older stepsisters, was not to be left in the corner wearing this bold floral-print Andrew Gn Resort 2015 gown.

I love how the colour signals that spring is upon us and the appliqués give a 3-D effect to those lush floral blooms. This was a gown worthy of a major movie premiere.

However, while I would never say that an actress in a movie should play down her red carpet look in order not to upstage the main star, in this case a part of me feels like that’s exactly what has happened here to Lily James.

By the same token, I will take nothing away from Sophie’s look. She often fades into the background, so I’m delighted she had her moment to shine.

If you are having a strong case of déjà vu, that may be because Kaitlyn Dever wore a short-sleeve version of this gown in a sunnier yellow and orange hue back in October.

Sophie Mcshera In Kate Spade New York & Joanne Froggatt In Vivienne Westwood – Monaco Palace Cocktail Reception

54th Monte-Carlo Television Festival - Day 4

Sophie McShera, Joanne Froggatt and Lesley Nicol of ‘Downton Abbey’ attended a cocktail reception at Monaco Palace on June 9, 2014 in Monte Carlo, Monaco, where they got to meet Prince Albert II of Monaco.

Sophie McShera: The actress wore a pretty aqua-blue Kate Spade New York A-line frock with a slight asymmetrical hemline, which she styled with a gorgeous necklace and simple nude pumps.

Joanne Froggatt: My girl always looks great and this classic Vivienne Westwood dress is no different. The black strapless ‘Trinket’ dress comes with a twist as it features a mint-green wrap-around mini skirt, setting it apart from the countless strapless Westwood dresses we’ve seen before. Nude heels were also her footwear of choice, opting for a pair of peep-toe Louboutins.

Lesley Nicol: The actress opted for a simple look, wearing a lace-sleeved black calf-length dress styled with flatforms and a gold pendant necklace.

Sophie McShera joined Joanne Froggatt on the red carpet for An Afternoon with ‘Downton Abbey’ held at Paramount Studios on Saturday (May 3) in Hollywood, California.

The young actress wore a Topshop bandeau jumpsuit not too dissimilar to Angelina Jolie’s look; however, Sophie’s styling of her elegant piece is considerably more interesting.

Sophie added a red belt for a pop of colour, plus a black and cream car-dial clutch and dotted beige pumps.

Shimmering copper eye makeup and wavy tresses completed her look.

Sophie McShera In Topshop – South Bank Sky Arts Awards

Sophie McShera In Topshop - South Bank Sky Arts Awards

Sophie McShera attended the South Bank Sky Arts Awards held at the Dorchester Hotel on Monday (January 27) in London.

The ‘Downton Abbey’ star wore a high-street-chic look, donning a cropped Topshop black-and-white floral applique sweater with a black leather high-waist skirt which just found a place on my wish list.

While I’m not too fond of the white clutch, I do love the double dose of red via the lips and her platform ankle-strap pumps.

PBS History’s ‘Downton Abbey’ Season 4 Photocall

PBS History's 'Downton Abbey' Season 4 Photocall

The cast of ‘Downton Abbey’ attended a photocall hosted by PBS History for Season 4 held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in California yesterday afternoon.

Michelle Dockery: Opting for chic separates, Michelle wore a black-and-beige Elie Saab Resort 2013 short set with a black Ann Taylor top. She styled her look with Jean-Michel Cazabat ‘Ella’ black pumps, adding a pop of colour via her red lips.

Laura Carmichael: Admittedly, Laura rarely catches my eye; however, I was charmed by her whimsical Moschino Cheap and Chic black mini dress trimmed with an ivory satin box-pleat ‘piano keys’ accented hemline.

Joanne Froggatt: Sporting blonde, beachy, wavy tresses, the British actress, who has always been a fan of prints and colour, wore a Camilla & Marc Fall 2013 look. Her black top with a cobalt-blue trim was tucked into a dual-print blue-and-berry flounced skirt, to which she opted not to add the belt it was presented with. Her simple styling included silver bracelets and black pumps. Should she have kept the belt?

Sophie McShera: Looking delighted to be out of her 1920s maid outfit, the young actress wore a pretty floral Zara frock with an ultimate ladylike fit. This elegant dress is right on trend, with nude pumps and a orange-red lip colour completing the effortless styling.
