Burberry Prorsum Spring 2016 Menswear Front Row

Burberry men 1

The Burberry Prorsum Spring 2016 Menswear show was hosted on Monday (June 15) in London, England, where the front row was appropriately outfitted in a range of beautiful, Burberry-loving faces.

Suki Waterhouse: Although the British model-actress’s dress featured darker hues, the colourful embroidery of the mirror-embellished frock and the girly silhouette were appropriately sunny for summer. Fresh barely-there makeup and light waves were a lovely finish.

David Gandy: As suave as ever, the model was handsome in a three-piece gray Thom Sweeney suit accented by a navy micro-pinstripe dress shirt that, of course, had the winning effect of highlighting his own baby-blue eyes.

Sonam Kapoor: I loved the impeccable femininity of this white cropped top and pencil skirt, topped with a ballet-pink cropped jacket, which married elegant sophistication with modern edge. When styled with long curls and a deep oxblood lip, the allure was undeniable.

Sonam Kapoor In Ralph & Russo Couture – Bvlgari unveiling of High Jewellery Collection

Sonam Kapoor In Ralph & Russo Couture - Bvlgari unveiling of High Jewellery Collection
Sonam Kapoor attended the Bvlgari unveiling of its new High Jewellery collection, which is inspired by the art of the Italian gardens burgeoning during the Rinascimento, at a gala dinner on Wednesday (June 10) at Villa Di Maiano located on the hills of Fiesole with a panoramic view of Florence, Italy.

The stunning surroundings were only matched by the Bollywood actress and L’Oreal ambassador. She was breathtaking in a Ralph & Russo Spring 2015 Couture black strapless fitted dress paired with a black bolero-style jacket that was enlivened with embroidered pastel-coloured floral detailing.

I am still in awe of the distinctly subtle glamour and artistic elegance of this look.

The vibrant multi-coloured Bvlgari necklace, taken from the High Jewellery Collection, reflected the softer hues of the jacket for a beautiful finish.

Sonam Kapoor In Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla – Chopard Party

Sonam Kapoor In Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla - Chopard Party

Having seen more pictures, and had more time to digest Sonam Kapoor’s Elie Saab Couture feathered gown, I have to say I’m now fully on board with the look.

As some mentioned she is the ONLY one bring the drama to this quite lacklustre event which was proven once again yesterday evening (May 18) at the Chopard party during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France.

For those concerned by her lack of choices by Indian designers, you’ll be delighted to see her wearing this epic piece from Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.

I don’t think I’ve seen this kind of architectural brilliance since Lee McQueen. It probably weighs a ton, but Sonam carries the look off with perfect poise.

Amped up with smoky eyes, Chopard jewels and a Corto Moltedo clutch, I have to say this ranks as one of my favourites from the Bollywood beauty.

Sonam Kapoor In Elie Saab Couture – ‘Inside Out’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

"Inside Out" Premiere - The 68th Annual Cannes Film Festival

Sonam Kapoor attended the ‘Inside Out’ premiere during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival on Monday (May 18) in Cannes, France.

When I saw the Indian beauty wearing this lime-green Elie Saab Spring 2015 Couture gown styled with stunning Chopard jewels, I said under my breath, ‘I knew it’.

That is, I knew this gown would be near impossible to pull off on the red carpet.

Sonam is never shy of a challenge, so I commend her for taking the risk, but I’m not ready to commit to loving this look at this time.

I’m leaving the door open in case I change my mind and see a better picture later in the evening, but at this point I will just give her an A for effort.

You may remember I had this on my wish list for Fan Bingbing.

Sonam Kapoor In Ralph & Russo Couture – ‘The Sea Of Trees’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

"The Sea Of Trees" Premiere - The 68th Annual Cannes Film Festival

Sonam Kapoor attended ‘The Sea of Trees’ at the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival on Saturday (May 16) in Cannes, France.

Parading out an even more intensely electric shade of blue than Jane Fonda, Sonam stunned in a Ralph & Russo Spring 2014 Couture gown.

This extravagant piece delivered on high drama between the powerful colour and the theatrical, period-style silhouette.

The exaggerated hip-length draping isn’t always an easy look to say the least, but Sonam wears it with such beautiful aplomb.

Complementary Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and glittering Chopard earrings, along with enviably glossy tresses and a punchy coral-red lip and matching nails, all took the look to the next level. It wouldn’t have been the same without this dynamic styling.

Sonam Kapoor In Ashi Studio & Katrina Kaif In Jenny Packham – L’Oreal Paris ‘Matte or Gloss’ Cannes Collection Launch

L'Oreal Paris 'Matte or Gloss' Cannes Collection Launch

Sonam Kapoor and Katrina Kaif made for a fetching duo at the L’Oreal Paris ‘Matte or Gloss’ Cannes Collection Launch held at Lalit Hotel on Saturday (April 25) in Mumbai, India, where the two beauties served up unique looks that still corresponded well with each other.

Sonam Kapoor: Blending the best of classic elegance and directional charm, the actress delighted in this Ashi Studio high-low gown with dimensional, fern-like embroidery. I love the sophisitication of the off-the-shoulder silhouette mixed with the whimsical, asymmetrical effect of the voluminous skirt and bustle. As to be expected, her beauty look was on-point with a hot fuchsia lip enlivening the dress even more.

Katrina Kaif: As the newest ambassador for L’Oreal India, Katrina shimmered in a Jenny Packham pale-pink gown that featured an effortless sense of languid, luxe glamour with a flowing silhouette and allover beading. Her flame-red waves and bright lavender-pink lip likewise enriched the dress with a touch of mod colour.

While both girls are lovely, I favour Sonam’s look for its enchanting, forward spin on classic elegance.
