Sonam Kapoor In Elie Saab Couture – ‘The Killing Of A Sacred Deer’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Sonam Kapoor was sticking with Elie Saab for her second red carpet appearance for ‘The Killing Of A Sacred Deer’ Cannes Film Festival premiere this evening (May 22).

When I see her in this gold tulle embroidered Spring 2017 Couture gown I ask myself, “where is the fashion trailblazer who used take this festival by the scruff of the neck and shake things up?”

Her gown is absolutely stunning, don’t get me wrong.

It’s my favourite of the Elie Saab gowns so far, and one of the best from today; but I was expecting way, way more from Sonam so overall I feel a bit disappointed.

Sonam Kapoor In Elie Saab Couture – ‘The Meyerowitz Stories’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Sonam Kapoor took pretty in pink to an all-new level while at the screening of ‘The Meyerowitz Stories’ during the 2017 Cannes Film Festival on Sunday (May 21).

Elie Saab continues to be the reigning king of red-carpet embellishment, and the designer’s handiwork was no better witnessed than in this custom Couture creation that embraced a sense of Bollywood glamour at its finest.

Elaborately ornate Kalyan jewels in a similar pink palette added to the extravagant mood of grandeur.

Sonam Kapoor In Christian Dior – Instagram

Sonam Kapoor appeared to be having a lot of fun playing dress up in Dior which she shared with her Instagram followers this week.

The Indian actress was seen twirling around the room wearing the Spring 2017 tulle dress featuring an artsy, tarot card drawing of L’Amoureaux, which she paired with a Dior logo bra to match those knitted panties – which are growing in popularity.

Adding contemporary accessories her such an ear cuff and a choker didn’t dial down any of the whimsical nature of this look, in fact it makes it more precious.

If you having a case of déjà vu, that’s because Nicole Kidman wore this same dress to the Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards Gala back in January.

Sonam Kapoor In Ralph & Russo Couture – Da Vinci Collection by IWC Schaffhausen Launch

Sonam Kapoor attended the ‘Decoding the Beauty of Time’ Gala Dinner by IWC Schaffhausen at SIHH 2017 on Tuesday (January 17) in Geneva, Switzerland.

The Indian actress took my breath away in a Ralph & Russo Fall 2016 Couture autumnal motif, silk-satin chiffon gown with lavender tulle overlay and matching silk zibeline trench coat.

She was nothing short of a fashion fairytale in this magical confection that brought the beauty of fall’s changing leaves to the red carpet.

A Ralph & Russo champagne ‘Alina’ club clutch with a sculpted feather handle couldn’t have been more suitable, and an IWC timepiece rounded out the look, naturally.

Sonam Kapoor In Ulyana Sergeenko Couture - 'Neerja' Trailer Launch

Sonam Kapoor attended the launch of the trailer for her forthcoming biopic ‘Neerja’ in Mumbai on Thursday (December 17).

The Indian actress wore a Ulyana Sergeenko Spring 2015 Couture dress brimming with a silhouette dedicated to flattering the female form.

Permeated with laser-cut detailing for a fun, whimsy feel, Sonam opted to only incorporate the white pumps from the look book to style her outfit.

Sonam Kapoor In Paolo Sebastian Couture – Indian Film Festival Of Melbourne Awards Night

Sonam Kapoor In Paolo Sebastian Couture - Indian Film Festival Of Melbourne Awards Night

Sonam Kapoor attended the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne Awards Night at the National Gallery of Victoria on Saturday (August 15) in Melbourne, Australia.

The gorgeous actress opted to wear a local designer, donning a blush-hued gown from Paolo Sebastian’s Spring 2015 Couture collection.

While I like the Bollywood flavour of this dress furnished by the embellished lace cape, there is something I find quite aging about this look.

Perhaps I feel this way because I’m used to seeing Sonam in more cutting edge designs or maybe I think this would be better suited to Aishwarya Rai.
