Solange Knowles In Mary Katrantzou – ‘Better Days’ Art Basel Performance

Solange Knowles continued her mini tour of Europe by performing during ‘Better Days’, an art bar installation by Mickalene Thomas presented by Absolut Art Bureau at Art Basel in Basel, Switzerland on Wednesday.

The singer embraced her love for stand-out prints, wearing a Mary Katrantzou Spring 2013 high-neck dress with an a-line silhouette and large pleats on the skirt featuring the designer’s signature stamp print for that season.

Not putting all her creative intellect into just her dress, she also delights with a pair of black-and-white Sophia Webster sandals.

Solange Knowles In Marni – Glamour Live Show

Solange Knowles set the stage alight during the Glamour Live Show in Milan, Italy on Tuesday evening.

Not only with her energetic performance, but also with her savvy style, wearing a Marni floral-printed dress featuring a paillette bodice and v-neckline.

Aside from the colour and print setting my senses on fire, the effortless styling also gets a thumbs up, with gold Marni earrings and contrasting black-and-white Marni wedges accessorising the look.

On this occasion, she styled her braids into a chic updo.

My crush deepens with each look. She can do no wrong in my book.

Solange Knowles In Boxing Kitten – Roots Picnic

Beyonce wasn’t the only Knowles performing this weekend, as Solange Knowles took to the stage for the Roots Picnic at the Festival Pier in Philadelphia on Saturday.

The singer, who just got her braids did, wore an event-appropriate ethnic look for the occasion.

Turning to one of her favourite designers, Maya Lake for Boxing Kitten, Solange’s pointy-collared short-sleeved blouse and shorts from the Spring 2013 collection feature the ethnic digital prints the designer has been famed for.

This is a classic Solange look, as the singer likes to mix clashing prints. Some of you haven’t always been on board with her overuse of prints; however, I’m sure you will agree that, as a performance look, this works.

Solange Knowles In Diane Von Furstenberg – Intermix 20th Anniversary Celebration

Solange Knowles joined Emma Roberts at Intermix’s 20th Anniversary Celebration on Tuesday at The New Museum in New York City.

Like Emma, the singer also perked up the party with one of her signature print-tastic ensembles.

One of our favourite pattern princesses, Solange gave us a relaxed, retro look with this Diane von Furstenberg Fall 2013 coral-red, pajama-silhouette jumpsuit, covered all over in a flurry of contrasting, light-blue print.

Instead of the matching scarf shown on the runway, she accessorized with shoulder-scraping, gold statement earrings, a sweep of standout aqua eyeliner and her fab cool-girl ‘fro.

Solange Knowles In Stéphane Rolland Couture – Vanity Fair and Chanel Party

Stephane Rolland is the one designer I look forward to seeing at Cannes Film Festival, but so far this year I haven’t been impressed with his first two outings; the most painful was Paz Vega.

Solange Knowles was spotted leaving Tetou in Cannes on Sunday, where she had performed at the Vanity Fair and Chanel party looking outstanding wearing a look from the Stephane Rolland Spring 2013 collection which instantly restored my faith.

The sleek jumpsuit, as you know, is right up my alley. I love everything about this look, from the fit to the length, the smooth cream colour to the conical detailing around the neckline.

Factor in the bright-red lip and the superstar attitude and this look is easily one of my favourites from the festival – and there is not a red carpet in sight.

Solange Knowles In Roberto Cavalli – Belvedere Vodka ‘Walks Its Way’ Run D.M.C. Party

Solange Knowles made her second appearance during the 2013 Cannes Film Festival yesterday evening by attending the Belvedere Vodka ‘Walks Its Way’ Run D.M.C. at the VIP Room nightclub.

Unlike her look at ‘The Great Gatsby’ premiere, which failed to wow so of us, I love how she’s rocking this fluid Roberto Cavalli Spring 2013 pantsuit.

By wearing the suit exactly the way it came down the runway, Solange took out any guesswork and made the perfect cool-but-elegant fashion statement.

Her emerald-hued Vionnet clutch was the perfect bag choice, and her matching coral lips and nails were the perfect color for the beauty side of her ensemble.

You may remember that Karolina Kurkova wore this same Cavalli blazer back in March.
