Sienna Miller In Isabel Marant - W Magazine Celebrate The Golden Globes

Sienna Miller didn’t take to the red carpet at the Chateau Marmont for W Magazine’s celebration of the Golden Globes, but she was spotted inside.

Like many celebs, the British actress skipped wearing a Fall 2012 look for this Isabel Marant Spring 2013 dress.

Her ‘Natacha’ one-shoulder printed eyelet dress with a ruffled waist and wrap construction on the skirt was styled with red pointy pumps to complement the red embroidery on her dress.

For someone as petite as Sienna, this dress should be a perfect fit for her, but for some reason it makes her look a tad boxy as the dress appears to be too big for her.

New mum Sienna Miller graces the January 2013 cover of the Harper’s Bazaar UK edition wearing the peach pleated finale dress with oversized ruffles from the Chloe Spring 2013 collection.

David Slijper’s romantic, upbeat photoshoot also sees the British star wearing a green-and-ivory checked Louis Vuitton dress and a pretty Christopher Kane pink printed frock within her 11-page spread.

In her first interview since giving birth to her daughter Marlowe in July, she talked to Harper’s about throwing off her It-girl image, emerging as a woman in her own right, giving birth, her changed view of her body and the joy of life away from the long lens.

The issue also marks Sienna’s return to the screen, as she stars in the new BBC drama, ‘The Girl’, set to launch late December.

Full interview appears in the January issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK on sale Monday 3rd December, plus you can also check out the behind-the-scenes video of Sienna Miller’s cover shoot.

Here are some extracts from her interview:

On the joy of childbirth: “It’s still the most surreal thing, that you can create, that I grew this life inside my stomach, her eyeballs, everything – every little fibre. And I’d expected that she’d be this extension of me and I’d instantly understand who she was because she’d come from me, and then you realise that they are their own people entirely. Very connected to you, of course. But they’re their own person… It’s the best, the greatest thing in the world… I would do that day a million times again. I would do that day, every day. I loved it.”

On the change to her body after giving birth: “My body’s a completely different thing to me, it’s not mine – all the attachment to its flaws or any aesthetic attachment is gone. You understand what breasts are for; and I have such enormous respect for my body because of what it can do.”

On wanting to develop herself as a parent with fiancée, actor Tom Sturridge, before hiring a nanny: “It’s just been the three of us, which was amazing, and exhausting. We are going to get a nanny, but it felt important to first learn for myself who I was as a parent.”

Having received the memo that the Hampton’s Film Festival was more dressing casual than dressy dressy, Sienna Miller opted for a laidback look for the performers’ brunch in East Hampton New York on Sunday afternoon.

She wore a simple white shirt, a black cardigan and Sea New York Fall 2012 cravat-style printed-silk trousers.

Red ballet pumps and sunglasses accessorized her look.

As a new mother, it will be interesting to see if the former rock chick will change her style.

Which way do you see it going?

After taking time away from the red carpet to have her first child, Sienna Miller made a return on Saturday evening while attending ‘The Girl’ screening, during the 20th Hamptons Film Festival at United Artists Regal Cinema in East Hampton, New York.

The British actress wore a sensational Alessandra Rich Spring 2012 dress.

Her off-white silk dress with draped, open sleeves, which give the look a cape-like effect, was styled with a charming red lips shoulder bag, carried as a clutch, and gold Freyja bangles by FoundCollected on both wrists.

On the model, the dress is styled with a black buckle belt, but I think Sienna’s styling is perfect for her post-baby figure.

Matching Prada pumps completed her look.

This WWIB post spans five years and seven celebs proving that an Alexander McQueen piece is truly timeless.

Sienna Miller was the first to wear this Alexander McQueen Spring 2008 draped dress back in October 2007 at the premiere of her film ‘Interview,’ during the BFI 51st London Film Festival.

As Sienna is known for her signature grungy look, I like how simple she keeps it here, with just a loose up-do and black pumps.

Simple was certainly not on Lucy Liu’s mind, however, as she wore the same dress in hot pink to a January 2008 taping of ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’ in New York City. The hot pink plus leather gloves and pointy toes shoes is just too much.

Just a month later, Katie Holmes wore the same dress in houndstooth at the First Annual Essence Black Women In Hollywood Luncheon in LA. Sporting a shag bob the actress paired her dress with eggplant peep-toes and an Alexander McQueen skull clutch.

Resident bombshell Amber Heard tried out the hot pink number at the ‘Never Back Down’ Hollywood premiere in March 2008. Her shoes let her down.

Socialite Tinsley Mortimer posed backstage at a February 2009 Max Azria fashion show, pairing her dress with black accessories, including a Chanel purse.

Actress Leelee Sobieski took the dress in a more unique route at the May 2011 MoMA & MoMA PS1 Celebratory dinner, by pairing the dress with a unique pair of black-and-white woven ankle boots.

Kate Beckinsale supported Eva Longoria’s foundation party in LA last month accessorizing with simple black peep-toes and a high pony.

Who do you think wore it best?

It’s a tough call with so many beautiful ladies and options to choose from, but I think I’d go with Katie Holmes, because I love the print and 2008 was such a chic year for her.

Sienna Miller is always setting trends so when she wore this ensemble she helped spark the blush tone craze.

It complements her peaches-and-cream complexion and adds a ladylike flair to a masculine cut of her pants and chunky knit sweater.

Miller’s retro round sunglasses, chain-strapped and quilted shoulder bag and white wedges stay in the colour scheme and complete her funky and laidback vibe.

Her chic, messy knot with long bangs framing her face and pink lips and cheeks shows she’s casual while looking effortlessly put together.
