Food & Wine Presents The Taste of Beverly Hills

“90201” girls Shenae Grimes, Jessica Stroup, AnnaLynne McCord and Jessica Lowndes hung out at the “Food & Wine Presents The Taste of Beverly Hills” event recently.

Shenae wore a floral mini dress with black lace cycle shorts, a patent bag and cut-out booties.

Jessica wore an embellished Givenchy long sleeved mini dress with boring black pumps.

AnnaLynne opted for sexy triple strapped Pour La Victoire heels which she wore with an equally sexy Alice + Olivia Juliana velvet and leather dress.

She sure does love an LBD.

Jessica added the most colour to the red carpet wearing a Ronald Abdala gold satin dress which she paired with Serigo Rossi silver peeptoes, Coomi jewls and an Arianne Tunney clutch.

Jessica L stands out, but they all wore fairly interesting looks.

BlackBerry Torch Launch Party Trend – Black Blazers

Actress Shenae Grimes, Michelle Trachtenberg and Rashida Jones all sported black blazers at the BlackBerry Torch Launch Party in LA last night.

Sheane toughen up her Zara blazer by adding Helmut Lang skinny leather pants, a striped tank, a small crucifix and scuffed boots.

Maybe that black hair is part of the rock chic persona she’s trying to give us.

Michelle may have gone for an all dark look, but her Dannijo statement necklace takes this look from a 4 to a 9 out of 10.

She’s also wearing my favourite blazer, as I love those satin lapels which is from H&M.

J Brand jeans, Stuart Weitzman heels and Giuseppe Zanotti clutch complete the look.

Rashida’s look is all about her accessories. This is where Anna Kendrick failed to add a spark to her look.

Her necklace, clutch, LD Tuttle fringed sandals and gold bracelets perfect her overall look.

She didn’t really need her 3.1 Phillip Lim blazer with her ivory top and petrol green skirt, but this is very much her signature style and she totally makes it work for her.

Tres chic.

Get your Fall staple early by picking one of these black blazers.

2010 CBS Summer Press Tour Party

Representing “90210” Jessica Stroup attended the 2010 CBS Summer Press Tour Party in Beverly Hills this week.

The actress opted for a well worn Chanel Resort 2010 tunic dress.

It has been worn by Isabel Lucas, Anna Mouglalis and Zhou Xun.

I like the dress on Jessica, I even don’t mind the black pumps, but I really dislike the elasticated belt.

I don’t understand why she felt the need to wear it.

Maybe she thought it would look younger, or edgier with the belt, but for me it breaks up the pattern and just looks misplaced.

Shenae Grimes matched the green carpet wearing a emerald green draped dress with an gold belt to give her flowing dress some shape.

Sporting a trendy, messy updo she completed her look with Christian Louboutin ‘Yolanda’ cork peep-toes and a pewter bag.

“90210” actress AnnaLynne McCord would have been the center of attention at this event w ith those long legs on display.

She wore a sleek and sexy Rock & Republic Lucca dress.

Her dress with a deep v-neck dress with eye tape detail on the skirt was paired with Christian Louboutin ‘Fetilo’ mesh peep-toes and a gold triangular shaped clutch.

Ashley Tisdale attended this party to promote her new CBS television series, “Hellcats”.

She was the epitome of summer chic wearing an ivory and metallic Bodyamr dress.

Her dress was worn with my favourite Christian Louboutin Clou Noeud studded heels.

It’s hard to go into detail about how unflattering Jessica Lowndes look is, because I’m dumbfounded by the amount of make-up she has on.

The “90210” wore Rock & Republic Paulina heels.

Mulberry’s LA Pool Party

Emma Hill, Mulberry’s Creative Director, hosted a dinner in LA last night to introduced Hollywood starlets to the Mulberry Fall 2010 collection.

The dinner was followed by a pool party with special guest DJ Alexa Chung.

I’m not Alexa’s biggest fan, but I do love her look.

Whilst Rachel Bilson is wearing her denim shorts with simple tees, Alexa opted for a sexy satin Mulberry shirt with the sleeves rolled up.

It not a combo I would’ve thought of, but it really works for Alexa.

Her look was paired with black strappy sandals and her Mulberry leopard print ‘Alexa’ bag.

Cat Deeley wore a sequined LBD with a leather jacket and Mulberry Maggie booties.

Kate Bosworth let her accessories do the talking by sporting a Mulberry ‘Margret’ leopard print calf skin bag.

Shenae Grimes was my favourite at this event.

She looked cute in a Mulberry chain dress dress from the Fall 2010 collection.

I much prefer the her champagne coloured dress to the runway black.  I love this look so much I’ll ignore her ankle boots.

Molly Sims wore Mulberry Raglan dress which had a wild print all over. The dress paired with muted silver heels.

I love the flare of Jessica Stroup’s Mulberry skirt with crush sequins, but I don’t think she didn’t the skirt much justice with the halter and cardi.

2010 MuchMusic Video Awards

Here are the rest of the looks from the 2010 MuchMusic Video Awards last night.

Actress Nina Dobrev looked gorgeous wearing a navy Tadashi Shoji Spring 2010 beaded strapless mini dress which she paired with Brian Atwood Wagner pumps.

This dress looks 100% better on her as it’s just hanging off the model.

Kristin Cavallari wore a silver metallic mini halter-neck vintage Paco Rabanne dress with black Sergio Rossi heels.

Shenae Grimes channeled her inner wannabee rock chick for the night, opting for a sheer top, a leather pleated mini skirt by Amanda Lew Kee which she paired with a crucifix and an Eddie Bargo cone bracelet.

My favourite here would have to be Shenae for truly getting the spirit of the music awards ceremony by wearing something interesting and different.

A Benefit For St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital – Shenae Grimes In Helmut Lang

“90210” actress Shenae Grimes held a benefit for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital last night in LA.

The host looks gorgeous wearing a chic Helmut Lang lace-sleeve jersey mini-dress.

The asymmetrical dress which she paired with Christian Louboutin cork peep-toes, has one long lace sleeve, a lace insert at front and a ruched body.

Although her dress is sexy, it’s not too sexy for her event.

As much as I like the look, I’m not a fan of necklaces worn with an asymmetrical neckline like this.

“Whip It” LA Premiere

Drew Barrymore has another WWIB? poll coming her way as she wore the same black fitted L’Wren Scott lacquered tweed dress from the Fall 2009 collection, which Nicole Kidman wore just last week to the White Ribbon Alliance dinner.

Ironically they both wore red peep-toes too.

What I didn’t notice about this dress from Nicole, is that it has a sexy red exposed zipper at the back.

Eve broke up the very black red carpet, by wearing a burgundy Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2009 bustier fitted dress with black peep-toes.

Love the dress and sleek silhouette it gives Eve, but I hate the hair.

I’m not at all surprised that Ellen Page is wearing black, but I am surprised she’s wearing this very sexy Alexander Wang Slim Grommet dress.

When she was promoting “Juno”, it was a struggle to get her into a dress, now she looks grown up, confident and sexy in a dress we’ve seen a few times already this year.

Ellen wore her dress with Rachel Comey Cavat boots.

Serena Williams continues her good form on the red carpet, wearing a gold sequined Gryphon racer back tank top, paired with a black blazer and cropped pants.

Either someone has a new stylist, or someone has learnt that cute frilly dresses don’t suit a masculine frame.

Shenae Grimes opted for a cute ivory and black striped Sass & Bide dress, paired with double ankle strapped heels.
