Selena Gomez In Calvin Klein by Appointment – Lupus Research Alliance’s Breaking Through Lupus Gala

A newly blonde Selena Gomez attended the Lupus Research Alliance’s Breaking Through Lupus Gala on Monday (November 20) in New York City.

She looked radiant in a Calvin Klein by Appointment asymmetrical one-shoulder silk chiffon dress. I love the joy and hope the sunny yellow shade brought to the red carpet and how it can be symbolic of the singer’s own experiences with lupus and her positive outlook.

The happy mood was reflected in her Calvin Klein Fall 2017 sunflower sandals with asymmetrical crystal straps and crystal bracelet.

Selena Gomez In Coach – 2017 American Music Awards

While Ciara used the 2017 American Music Awards on Sunday (November 19) in LA to go back to black, Selena Gomez opted to give her new blonde tresses their red carpet debut, ahead of her world television performance debut of ‘Wolves’.

That wasn’t the only thing that was new, as the singer rocked a brand new rock chick look donning a custom made biker-style leather dress courtesy of Coach.

While some have trouble getting on board with Selena’s style when she goes left, I’m loving Selena 3.0 to the tenth degree.

It’s grown and it’s sexy without trying too hard. I love how she continues to evolve.

Selena Gomez In Jacquemus – 3rd Annual InStyle Awards

Selena Gomez was flying solo on the red carpet for the 3rd Annual InStyle Awards on Monday (October 23) in Los Angeles, California.

The singer wore a Jacquemus dress which sees the supercharged tailoring we saw the storm the runway for Fall 2017, give way to a more relaxed silhouette for Spring 2018.

Her LBD pays homage to the 90s wardrobe icon; the slip dress, but this classic is updated with ruched detailing for an even more sensual feel.

Selena Gomez Loves…Rouje

There is something about the insouciant cool of French style that captivates us—celebrities included. That’s why French label Rouje has quickly gained a popular following despite it only launching in 2016.

One fan is Selena Gomez who has happily embraced the line by French It-girl Jeanne Damas. The label reinterprets iconic Parisian basics like floral dresses, camisoles and miniskirts into effortless clothes that slot easily into a modern wardrobe. In Selena’s case, it is Rouje’s dresses that have enchanted her.

First up, the singer donned an inky Rouje ‘Gabin’ dress. The navy dress was speckled with dainty dots and a white button closure on the side. Oval sunglasses enhanced the vintage feel of the frock while box-fresh white sneakers added a thoroughly modern twist.

Keeping the white shoes, Selena stepped out in a Rouje ‘Matis’ dress. The above-the-knee style had plenty of feminine charm thanks to the white and pale blue print, buttons, and gathered seams along the bust line. She once again made it her own with a mix of hoop earrings, aviator sunglasses and a structured off-white handbag.

Lastly, Selena returned to the Rouje ‘Gabin’ dress, but this time in Bordeaux red. She elevated it for evening with rose gold sandals. In keeping with the effortless feel of the brand, she didn’t over-accessorise, choosing instead to let the silhouette of the dress shine.

Selena Gomez In Rodarte – BoF 500 Gala

Selena Gomez feted the BoF 500 Gala on Saturday (September 9) with a whimsical take on Old Hollywood glamour.

The singer donned a Rodarte Spring 2018 gown, which was a near-perfect match to her golden complexion. As opposed to adhering to the more ethereal floral accessories that were seen on the runway, Selena channeled a glamorous retro vibe which was enhanced with her deep-parted bob and dark lipstick.

I see how the black briefs under the gown tie in with the flower embellishment and gray tulle ruffle on the skirt, but I would have preferred a neutral lining so the panty seams would not have been as distracting to the other beautiful details on the gown’s neckline.

The black TOD’S Double T clutch would have been enough to bring the black details out in the look.
