Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Scarlett Johansson looked to have regained her inner sparkle when she took to the red carpet for the Moet & Chandon 250th Anniversary Party in Moscow on Thursday evening.

The actress wore an Emilio Pucci Resort 2013 dress.

Her military-green sleeveless bustier dress with sheer yoke and peplum details is one of her best red-carpet looks in a while.

ScarJo’s black pumps merge into the black carpet, but you most definitely see that pretty coral lip colour.

Bulgari jewels, kohl-rimmed eyes and black nail polish completed her look.

The promo tour for ‘The Avengers’ started for Scarlett Johansson back in April with the LA premiere when she wore a slick Versace strapless dress.

Things started to go a bit pear-shaped soon after with a none-too-flattering Nina Ricci dress in Moscow.

In London ScarJo brightened things up somewhat wearing Prada with a hot-red lip colour before ending her run in Rome wearing a beautiful Mary Katrantzou digital floral frock.

Versace was my favourite. The whole look was slick and I’m still in lust with the Zanottis.

Scarlett Johansson glided down the red carpet at the 2012 Met Gala held in New York City on Monday evening.

The actress from ‘The Avengers’ wore a Dolce & Gabbana gown.

Her nude off-shouldered gown decorated with crystal establishments and gold embroidery had a beautiful tulle skirt.

A wavy hairstyle, diamond jewels and a coral lip colour completed her look.

Despite all the embellished details, I still feel like something is missing.

Prior to Scarlett Johansson’s new movie, ‘The Avengers’ hitting theaters on Friday, the actress received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today in Hollywood, California.

She opted to wear a Preen Fall 2012 look.

The black-and-white look consisted of a daisy print top with a checkered pencil skirt.

I love the retro hairdo, Bulgari studded earrings and the red Christian Louboutin platform peep-toes.

This look is event appropriate and interesting without being too formal or boring.

Just when I had written her off, ScarJo does a complete 180. I LOVE this look.

What do you think?

Scarlett Johansson stepped things up several notches for the premiere of ‘The Avengers’ held in Rome, Italy this weekend.

The actress has been below par to say the least this promo tour, regularly being upstaged by co-star Cobie Smulders.

On this occasion all eyes were on ScarJo wearing this gorgeous Mary Katrantzou Fall 2012 dress, despite her handsome co-stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston and Mark Ruffalo beside her.

The first good sign that this is a good dress.

Her digitally engineered wild-flower-print cap-sleeve A-line dress is the commercial version of the heavier, beaded version which took to the runway.

This dress is so very flattering to her womanly figure, the print is eye-catching and this is the most sexy she has looked this promo tour.

Her blonde hair was styled into loose waves and she teamed her look with Bulgari jewels and Jimmy Choo ‘Suki’ sandals.

Let’s hope she keeps to this standard throughout the rest of the tour.

Scarlett Johansson was joined by her co-stars on the red carpet in London tonight for the premiere of her latest movie ‘The Avengers’ held at the Vue Westfield.

The actress donned a Prada dress.

Her strapless peplum dress featured a black bodice embroidered with red-and-blue floral details and a black-and-blue cut-out lace-effect pencil skirt.

This look is a vast improvement on the one she wore to the Moscow premiere, but the peplum looks like an afterthought and the string hanging off her hemline makes me itch.

Red Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ pumps, a ‘Heidi’ braid, Bulgari jewels and a rich red lip colour completed her look.

I don’t hate this look, but I’m not wowed by it either.

I’m still wishing for a return of the ScarJo of old and some more colourful red-carpet looks.

Let’s move on from the Black Widow references.
