Sarah Paulson In Vintage Valentino Premiere Of FX Network’s ‘Feud: Bette And Joan’

Sarah Paulson joined Catherine Zeta Jones for the premiere of FX Network’s ‘Feud: Bette And Joan’ on Wednesday (March 1) in Hollywood.

Also in black and white, the actress charmed in a vintage Valentino plaid dress that had a certain magnetic charisma for its sophisticated femininity that possessed timeless appeal.

I love the little details tied up in this tea-length dress, with the thin black piping, the buttons, and the bows at the wrist all making a chic impression.

The same could be said for Sarah’s modern styling of the look, taking it to the next level with Nicholas Kirkwood ‘Leda’ pumps, Jacob & Co. jewels, and the addition of colour via her Edie Parker plum clutch that cleverly matched her lip.

Sarah Paulson In Ronald van der Kemp – 2017 Oscar Vanity Fair Party

Sarah Paulson attended the 2017 Oscar Vanity Fair Party on Sunday night (February 26).

The actress wore a two-toned, velvet gown from the Ronald van der Kemp Spring 2017 Couture collection and a yellow box clutch and long Forevermark diamond earrings.

As per usual, Sarah doesn’t disappoint with her daring and much-of-the-time quirky approach to fashion. This gown is nothing if not a talking point, and such a striking color and design.

My only tiny complaint is that it is a bit heavy on Sarah. I wish it had been taken in a bit more like we see in the lookbook, because all the fabric is dangerously close to wearing Sarah, vs. her wearing it.

That small critique withstanding, I love this look. It’s strong and striking, like Sarah herself, and her asymmetrical bob and smudgey smokey eye are the perfect beauty choices to round it out.

Sarah Paulson In Andrew Gn – 2017 Directors Guild Of America Awards

Sarah Paulson continued her velvet crush at the 2017 Directors Guild Of America Awards on Saturday (February 4) in Beverly Hills.

Going from light velvet at the Producers Guild to dark, she wore an Andrew Gn Pre-Fall 2017 boho caftan gown in deep royal-blue brocade.

It was a lot of dress for the actress, lending a folkloric, gypsy spirit with the decorative lattice trim and fringe.

It’s almost what you’d imagine a style-forward fortune teller might wear as she read your Tarot cards.

Sarah Paulson In Maison Margiela – 2017 Producers Guild Awards

Sarah Paulson attended the 2017 Producers Guild Awards on Saturday (January 28) in Beverly Hills, California.

I was delighted to see Sarah embrace the velvet fabric crush we’ve seen a lot of this awards season.

What I love about this Maison Margiela champagne-hued crushed velvet dress is that its unmistakably modern; oozing a quietly confident aura.

I’m thankful for the oversized belt as its shapeless silhouette needed to be kept in check.

The size of the clutch is a tad overpowering for me, but a great look nonetheless.

Sarah Paulson In Vera Wang – 2017 SAG Awards

Sarah Paulson also attended the 2017 SAG Awards in LA on Sunday (January 29).

The actress wore a black, tailored Vera Wang gown from the Spring 2017 collection.

The belted, pocketed effect of this gown gives it a very tailored feel that makes it seem tailor-made for Sarah’s unique style sensibility. She looks quite chic and striking, and I love that she paired a white clutch with the look.

Sarah Paulson In Co – The Late Show With Stephen Colbert

Sarah Paulson stopped by ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’ on Monday (January 16) in New York City.

Proving that a simple LBD can be statement-making, the ‘American Crime Story’ actress wore a Co Fall 2016 design.

The dress was elevated by virtue of its feminine fit that cinched at the waist with a full sleeve and pleated skirt.

But it was Sarah’s styling that kept the conservative look from being too lacklustre with her leopard-print pumps and edgy, side-parted bob.

But hers wasn’t the only ’do worthy of attention that night. She also admitted to the late-night host that she still hasn’t parted with her ‘American Crime Story’ character’s curly wig, which also made a cameo on the show.

25th IFP Gotham Independent Film Awards Red Carpet Roundup

25th IFP Gotham Independent Film Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a quick roundup of those who joined Julianne Moore and Emmy Rossum for the 25th IFP Gotham Independent Film Awards on Monday (November 30) in New York City.

Rachel McAdams: The actress wore a tailored Noam Hanoch jumpsuit, cast with point d’esprit lace insets for a sensual touch.

Helen Mirren: The British actress has worn this Dolce & Gabbana dress a few times now. She could wear it 100 times, yet it won’t make me like that this scribble print design.

Sarah Paulson: By far my best dressed at this event, the actress was looking sleek and sexy wearing Cushine et Ochs Resort 2016 dress with cold-shoulder cut-outs lending a fiercely modern sensibility to this bold LBD.
