Sarah Paulson In Honor - 29th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards

Sarah Paulson attended the 29th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards held at NYU Skirball Center on Sunday (May 4) in New York City.

Proving to be quite the unofficial brand ambassador for Honor; the ’12 Years A Slave’ actress wore a look from the brands Spring 2014.

This pink and peach floral dress is the ultimate in feminine dressing for a current season, so I am somewhat disappointed by the heavy footwear.

Just imagine what a pair of dainty sandals or nude Mary Janes would’ve done for this look.

Who Wore Alberta Ferretti Better Zhang Ziyi or Sarah Paulson

Zhang Ziyi wore an Alberta Ferretti embellished top with a cute polka dot skirt to the ‘My Lucky Star’ Beijing press conference back in August, adding a cute pair of bunny ears and Guiseppe Zanotti star embellished sandals to her look.

Sarah Paulson wore the same top with the runway skirt to the LA premiere of ‘In Secret’ earlier this month, styled with black pumps.

Even with Zhang’s OTT/quirky styling, she pulls off the look with ease, so she wins for me.

Emma Roberts, Angela Bassett & Sarah Paulson - PaleyFest 2014 Closing Night Presentation Honouring 'American Horror Story Coven'

Emma Roberts, Angela Bassett and Sarah Paulson attended The Paley Center for Media’s closing-night presentation honouring ‘American Horror Story: Coven’ in Hollywood, California on Friday (March 28).

Emma Roberts: The young actress, who hosted the Nicolas Kirkwood dinner the night before, went from sexy to chic wearing a chiffon layered Finders Keepers dress. Instead of opting for dainty sandals, she styled her pretty frock with Jimmy Choo ‘Tia’ mirror-rhinestone-embellished pumps, further opting for a selection of complementary jewels. A wavy bobbed ‘do added a retro-glam touch to her look.

Angela Bassett: The actress wore a black-and-white La Petite Robe by Chiara Boni boat-neck cap-sleeved dress, which was sadly upstaged by a distracting oversized green clutch.

Sarah Paulson: Opting for a head-to-toe Marc Jacobs look, she was on track with her co-stars, who also added white elements to their looks. The long-sleeved white dress was, like Angela’s look, let down with some odd accessory choices. The green-and-black snakeskin pumps don’t work with this dress, and I’m not too fond of the camel-and-black clutch either, especially when paired with those shoes. Side-parted locks and a red lip prevented her from looking too washed out.

Sarah Paulson In Elie Saab Couture - Oscars 2014

Sarah Paulson attended the 2014 Oscars held at Hollywood & Highland Center on Sunday (March 2) in Hollywood, California.

The ’12 Years A Slave’ actress wore an Elie Saab peach 3/4 sleeve fully embellished gown with sheer skirt and embroidered hem from the Spring 2013 Couture collection.

Christian Louboutin ‘Youpi’ rose-gold glitter peep toe pumps and a Ferragamo clutch completed her look.

I knew she would come good in the end. Another twee dress wouldn’t sent me over the edge.

Sarah Paulson In Honor - Film Independent Spirit Awards 2014

Sarah Paulson apparently also got the white fashion memo for the 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards, hosted on Saturday (March 1) at Santa Monica Beach in Santa Monica, California.

The ’12 Years a Slave’ star gave us a look at the Honor Fall 2014 collection via her white cropped shirt and skirt ensemble.

Filled with funky little details like the three-dimensional, azure-hued floral embellishment that crept down the back of the top, along with the sheer white underlay and sleeves, this was nothing if not an interesting entrance.

Adding to the quirk factor of the look were galactic silver Rupert Sanderson ‘Elba’ pumps and a Bottega Veneta blue satin, basket-weave clutch.

Like or loathe?

Sarah Paulson In Georges Hobeika Couture - QVC 5th Annual Red Carpet Style Event

Sarah Paulson attended the QVC 5th Annual Red Carpet Style event held at The Four Seasons Hotel on Friday (February 28) in Beverly Hills, California.

As per, I find myself not loving this look – on her.

Her Georges Hobeika Spring 2014 beaded sleeveless top and tulle ballet skirt is pretty, but once again the twee factor is very evident.

Mix that in with the bridal factor and it’s a no from me.

A silver clutch and Jimmy Choo ‘Valdez’ sandals rounded out her look.
