Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted shopping at a Manolo Blahnik boutique in New York City yesterday.

Let’s hope white pumps weren’t on her shopping list.

Dressed in a relaxed casual look which included a plaid Comme Des Garçons skirt, a red-and-ivory lace accented camisole and an ivory cardigan, the actress accessorized with red Manolo Blahnik pumps and shades.

I love the look from head-to-toe, but I’m officially obsessed with her Fendi ‘2Jours Elite’ bag.

I first saw this stunning bag at the Fendi re-see after the Fall 2012 presentation in Milan.

The sleek leather bag with a chic top-handle and logo bar is a timeless classic which will see you through many seasons.

I love how the tag has SJP engraved in gold.

You can buy SJP’s Fendi bag from Nordstrom.com in red, honey, black and milk.

Sarah Jessica Parker attended the Gordon Parks Foundation Centennial Gala at the Museum Of Modern Art in New York City on Tuesday evening.

She opted for autumn purple hues, wearing an Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2012 dress.

I love the sequin embroidered details on her amethyst block-print dress, which is styled with a deep purple velvet blazer.

Her lavender Manolo Blahnik pumps with jewelled details are divine. There are no other words for them.

If the weather is as bad in New York as it is in London, then this look is season appropriate.

The ‘Sex And The City’ actress of course carried a cross-body bag to completed her look.

No surprises there.

Sarah Jessica Parker wore the colour of the evening, pink, at the 2012 Met Gala in New York City on Monday night.

It’s rumoured that Anna Wintour requested that all Vogue editors wear pink to the event, and SJP clearly did not miss that memo.

Carrie Bradshaw did contribute to the magazine, after all.

The actress chose Valentino for the event, wearing a long-sleeved silk taffeta floral print gown from the Spring 2012 couture collection.

The gown, which has a vintage feel, was paired with Fred Leighton Victorian gold, pearl, and enamel cuff bracelets, worn over the sleeves.

Voluminous waves and large earrings complete the look.

Sarah Jessica Parker joined Matthew Broderick and her son James Wilkie Broderick on the red carpet for Broadway’s opening night of ‘Nice Work If You Can Get It’ on Tuesday night in New York City.

The actress appears to have a love of pairing oversized overcoats with gowns.

On this occasion she wore an ecru Rochas silk gown with a matching long wool coat from the Jil Sander Fall 2012 collection which was accented with a floral corsage.

Fred Leighton and Manolo Blahnik mint-green pumps and slightly wavy locks completed her look.

It appears her crossbody bag fetish has been replaced with an oversized coat fetish.

Last week we saw how much Sarah Jessica Parker loves her Current/Elliott jeans; this week it’s all about her Theyskens’ Theory ‘Jotor’ leather biker jacket.

We first got a look at this jacket when SJP attended the amfAR New York Gala to kick off Fall 2012 Fashion Week, where she set her own rules by teaming it with a pink Oscar de la Renta gown.

Since then SJP has worn this jacket whilst taking her kids to school wearing jeans, slouchy tees and sneakers or boots.

I much prefer her working this urban-cool jacket in this way.

Sarah Jessica Parker was back on the red carpet last night at the Waldorf Astoria for the Carnegie Hall Medal Of Excellence Gala which honoured the original street-style photographer, Bill Cunningham.

The actress wore a vintage Oscar de la Renta metallic-grey silk bustle-back strapless gown.

She no doubt wore the dress to honour Mr de la Renta himself, who was one of the co-chairs of the evening.

A white cardigan and a black Jerome Dreyfuss ‘Bobi’ bag completed the look.

I think the dress could’ve been taken in at the bust a little and I would’ve preferred a tailored cropped blazer or a bolero to the cardigan.

Whilst I’m thankful that no oversized coats or cross-body bags were involved in this look, I can’t take my eyes of Hamish Bowles. He looks so very dapper.
