"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" Debut Episode

Sarah Jessica Parker paid a visit to the Rockefeller Center in New York City for the debut episode of ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on Monday (February 17).

Leaving her cross-body bags at home, the actress looked very pretty wearing a typically gorgeous Dolce & Gabbana frock.

With pretty flowers and a lace trim on the faux-wrap top, this lustrous silk dress defined by a delightfully OTT diamante-encrusted belt features a lace-hemmed skirt accentuating the charmingly feminine silhouette.

The look was styled with her favourite Manolo Blahnik lace ‘BB’ pumps, a string of pearls and glossy wavy locks.

Sarah Jessica Parker In Dolce & Gabbana - Great American Songbook Event Honoring Bryan Lourd

Sarah Jessica Parker took to the stage during The Great American Songbook event honouring Bryan Lourd at Alice Tully Hall on Monday (February 10) in New York City.

With her favoured cross-body bag back with full effect, the actress wore a pretty lace Dolce & Gabbana dress.

Trimmed with a ruffled hem and cuffs, the aqua lace dress, full of the label’s typical Italian flounce, was styled with a string of Mikimoto pearls and Rene Caovilla red velvet pumps with Swarovski crystal embellished heels.

It was somewhat of a strange choice to pair such a summery frock with shoes of a Fall-like hue, but I’m more perplexed by the bag.

Sarah Jessica Parker In Tracy Reese - The New School University Center Grand Opening

Sarah Jessica Parker attended The New School University Center Grand Opening held at The New School University Center on Wednesday (January 23) in New York City.

The actress wore a ladylike Tracy Reese brocade fit-and-flare frock with a scoop neckline, full skirt and 3/4 length sleeves.

This may have been considered somewhat meh, until you look down.

Polka-dot tights and a pair of Manolo Blahnik boots featuring a bedazzled trim really enliven this look.

At times SJP’s styling can be a bit too much and overwhelm the look, but that is not the case for me on this occasion.

Celebrities Love Coach's 'The Borough' BagThe latest accessory on the celebrity set’s arms has big shoes to fill. Inspired by New York City and its five boroughs, Coach’s ‘The Borough’ bag delivers on its lofty Big Apple-influenced name. As iconic as the place it represents, the sleekly versatile tote is hot yet oh-so-cool, downtown and uptown, and subtle but sharp.

Jessica Alba recently topped off her sidewalk-chic ensemble with the oxblood-coloured ‘Borough.’ Of course, Sarah Jessica Parker has been carrying this NYC-inspired bag, putting an elegant edge on her modish-mommy, jeans-and-tee look with one in jade green. Lea Michele went for the classic black ‘Borough,’ which only added more punch to her hat, shades and combat boots.

Also making the Coach bag a must-have of the moment is a laundry list of trendsetters, including Karlie Kloss, Poppy Delevingne, Liu Wen, Drew Barrymore and Freida Pinto.

Effortlessly transitioning from day to night, the bag can pump up any street-style look with its richly hued polished calfskin, pebbled leather and leopard varieties, along with large and mini versions.

No wonder everyone’s boasting ‘The Borough’ by their side.

Sarah Jessica Parker In Rochas & Sonia Rykiel - 'The Commons Of Pensacola' Opening Night

Sarah Jessica Parker attended ‘The Commons Of Pensacola’ Opening Night in New York City yesterday evening.

While I am the first to complain about an obscuring leather jacket here and a cross-body bag there, SJP’s look could not be more perfectly styled on this occasion.

With her rose gold silk lamé pleated Rocha Spring 2014 dress being a tad too flimsy for a night out in New York, especially considering she left by taxi, the actress added a Sonia Rykiel Spring 2014 copper and blue-trim jacket, elevating the festive nature of her look.

Leaving her Manolos at home on this occasion, she accessorised with shoe designer of the moment Sophia Webster, with Fred Leighton jewels completing the look.

I love that she keeps the spirit of Carrie Bradshaw alive with her eclectic red-carpet looks.

You weren’t too crazy about her previous Giles look, so how does this one fare for you?
