Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Sarah Jessica Parker and Gerard Butler hosted the Nobel Peace Prize Concert at Oslo Spektrum in Oslo, Norway this evening.

Even though Gerard (in Ermenegildo Zegna) stands head-and-shoulders above SJP, she still looks quite statuesque in her Erdem Spring 2013 gown.

The sky-blue long-sleeve lace embroidered gown could be mistaken for a crop-top and maxi skirt, but the look actually has a sheer insert along the midriff.

A silver ring, wavy tresses and shimmering silver eye shadow completed her look.

Sarah Jessica Parker was out again last night, attending the New 42nd Street Gala at The New Victory Theater in New York City.

The actress, who wowed me on her last outing, doesn’t get the same praise on this occasion.

Dressed in a Vivienne Westwood shimmering silver draped dress, I find this look to be very dowdy.

Usually one to over-accessorize to compensate for a so-so look, she didn’t even do that on this occasion, selecting silver bracelets and another pair of Jean-Michel Cazabat ‘Emma’ pumps, this time in sequined bronze.

A rare snooze from SJP.

Sarah Jessica Parker joined her gal pal, Anna Wintour, on the red carpet prior to HBO’s ‘In Vogue: The Editor’s Eye’ screening at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City yesterday evening.

The actress wore a vintage rust-coloured short-sleeve dress with a gathered skirt.

As always, she went above and beyond when it came to the styling, adding Fred Leighton jewels and an electric-blue velvet Fendi baguette with a gold fringed detail (thankfully not a cross-body bag).

I adore her lavender-and-pink Jean-Michel Cazabat ‘Emma’ python pumps, which also add some spice to her look.

On paper this may not have been so appealing with the different colours, textures and prints, but SJP is simply flawless here.

Sarah Jessica Parker hosted the ‘Electric Holiday’ window unveiling at Barneys New York in New York City yesterday evening.

The actress wore a classic L’Wren Scott black headmistress dress with caviar beaded embroidery around the neckline and cuffs.

To add a fun quirk to her look as she was hosting the event with Minnie Mouse, SJP also wore lace ears with matching veil, which was custom made by L’Wren Scott.

L’Wren Scott bespoke diamond earrings and black Manolo Blahnik pumps accessorized her look, with loose wavy tresses providing the finishing touches.

L’Wren Scott was honoured with the Fashion Group International Lord & Taylor Fashion Oracle Award at the Night of Stars gala, held yesterday evening at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

She was presented with the award by one of her four devotees, Sarah Jessica Parker (Nicole Kidman, Ellen Barkin and Penelope Cruz are the other three).

Both wore L’Wren Scott, but I’m instantly captivated by SJP’s Spring 2013 look, mostly because of the colourful stripes.

The actress opted not to wear a belt with her look, styling it with black glitter Manolo Blahnik pumps and Fred Leighton jewels.

Wavy ombre locks swept over one shoulder completed her look.

H&M hosted a party in New York City to celebrate their Maison Martin Margiela collaboration on Tuesday evening.

Mena Suvari: Despite not being a fan of Mena’s trompe l’oeil bodysuit, she’s totally working this look, as per. She styled the look with a navy ‘Hitched Up’ skirt, tan wedges with a Perspex heel and a giant silver metallic candy wrapper clutch (a must-have from this collection). She was my favourite at this event.

Leigh Lezark: I’m not surprised that the DJ picked the most colourful and difficult-to-wear piece from the Maison Martin Margiela for H&M collection. She’s never one to fade into the background. The look includes a colourful printed-scarves top and skirt. She opted for the wedges in black.

Selma Blair: The actress wore the black version of the ‘Horizontally Worn’ dress with black wedges. I love how she styled the look with the china bumps and red lip colour, but I prefer the blue version of this dress which appears in the lookbook.

Julianne Moore: A simple black Maison Martin Margiela for H&M suit with peaked shoulders look super chic on Julianne.

Sarah Jessica Parker: The actress looked like an Olsen twin engulfed with so many layers and an oversized blazer.

Helena Christensen: The supermodel makes this £179.99 leather ‘Car Seat Cover’ dress look even more expensive. She styled her look with all black accessories.

The Maison Martin Margiela for H&M collection hits stores November 15. Click here to see the accessories.
