Sarah Hyland In Pamella Roland - 2014 SAG Awards

Sarah Hyland attended the 2014 SAG Awards, held at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California on Saturday (January 18).

The ‘Modern Family’ starlet and best ensemble nominee continued her pink streak from the 2014 Golden Globes, this time in a subtle, ballet-pink shade that I found far more striking in spite of its softness.

While I have a love-hate relationship with high-low gowns, I found myself quite charmed by this strapless Pamella Roland Spring 2014 design, especially the gathered bodice and the architectural, cape-like back. The dress also had every girl’s dream—pockets.

Adding some fun dazzle were embellished Jimmy Choo ‘Cardinal’ pumps and a Jimmy Choo silver ‘Carmen’ clutch, alongside sparkling Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

I’m so glad she didn’t wear a necklace, instead completing the look with unfussy, side-swept waves and natural, blush-toned makeup.

Sarah can be a red-carpet wild card when it comes to her style, but this is how to do a modern-day princess look. Do you agree?

Sarah Hyland In Georges Hobeika Couture - 2014 Golden Globe Awards

Sarah Hyland attended the 2014 Golden Globe Awards, held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Sunday (January 12).

The ‘Modern Family’ starlet was pretty in flamingo-pink, donning a Georges Hobeika Fall 2013 Couture gown, which she wore with Rupert Sanderson heels.

From the embellished sheer back to the skirt’s delicate chiffon layers, it was all a bit fairytale-inspired, especially when it came to the styling.

During one of her red carpet interviews, Sarah said that she was influenced by the beauty trends seen on Valentino’s Spring 2014 runway when it came to her youthful ’do—a braided crown that only added to the princess vibe.

A few Lorraine Schwarz jewels added some sparkle, as did her shimmering nude makeup, which mainly focused on a strong brow as the highlight feature.

Too much bubblegum sweetness or pink perfection?

Sarah Hyland In Camilla and Marc - W Magazine ‘Best Performances’ Portfolio CelebrationSarah Hyland joined the stylish celebrity mix—think Allison Williams, Olivia Wilde, Lupita Nyong’o and the list goes on—at W magazine’s celebration of the ‘Best Performances’ portfolio, held at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, California on Thursday (January 9).

The young starlet added a major dose of colour to the proceedings in a bright-orange Camilla and Marc Resort 2014 design that featured a crew-neck top and flirty, flared-hem skirt.

Strappy metallic sandals and a multi-coloured python clutch, which may have been just a tad large, accessorized the look, along with a top-knot-inspired ’do and an overly generous dose of blush-bronzer.

Sarah occasionally dresses far more maturely than she should, so I was glad to see her in a fun-hued look that was sassy, yet still sophisticated.

Sarah Hyland In Sass & Bide - 'The Hunger Games Catching Fire' LA Premiere

Sarah Hyland attended the premiere of ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California on Monday evening.

I don’t think I have ever warmed to Sarah’s style, and this Sass and Bide Resort 2014 gold lamé dress with embellishment detailing, back cut-outs and a bustle-style skirt layered with pleated panels is doing nothing to change that fact.

Factor in the clunky black pumps and the only thing I have left to say about this look is ‘next’.

Modern Family Fan Appreciation Day

In honor of yesterday’s ‘Modern Family’ Fan Appreciation Day, hosted by the USA Network in Los Angeles, the TV show’s leading ladies stepped out in support.

Ariel Winter: Usually one for shorter fit-and-flare dresses, the young actress went with the tuxedo-inspired Alice + Olivia ‘Arrow’ two-tone boned jumpsuit instead. To finish, she styled her cocktail look with black patent-leather peep-toe pumps and two embellished cuffs.

Julie Bowen: The star chose a paisley print-heavy dress from Etro’s Fall 2012 runway. Aside from the dress’s colorful print, it featured other standout details as well, including a drop-waist silhouette and a flirty black ruffled hem. To complete the look, Julie wore black Jimmy Choo ‘Myth’ sandals, a large cocktail ring, and a bright Jimmy Choo ‘Tube’ clutch.
