Sarah Gadon In Armani Privé - 'Birdman' Venice Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

Sarah Gadon also swept along the red carpet this evening (August 24) for the ‘Birdman’ premiere which also served as the opening ceremony for the 2014 Venice Film Festival in Venice, Italy.

This is the actress’ second Armani Prive gown in a row following her appearance at Cannes.

On this occasion her nude gown with shimmering gold stripes was from the Fall 2013 collection.

I was ready to fully embrace this look as I felt that her sultry smoky eyes and dark lip somewhat aided in preventing her from looking too washed out.

However, all my initial feelings about this look disappeared when I noticed the outline of her underwear.

Sarah Gadon In Armani Privé - ‘Maps To The Stars’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Sarah Gadon joined co-stars Mia Wasikowska and Julianne Moore on the red carpet this evening (May 19) for the ‘Maps To The Stars’ premiere during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France.

The actress looked very graceful wearing an Armani Privé Spring 2014 long blue crinoline lace bustier dress, embroidered with Swarovski crystals, overlaid on a silk jacquard fabric with blue and white tie-inspired patterns.

Embodying the spirit of old-Hollywood glamour, she swept her hair into a chic updo, with dazzling diamond-encrusted cluster earrings and a red lip completing her look.

Sarah Gadon In Mulberry - 'Emergency Jaeger-LeCoultre In Aid Of The Goderich Centre, Sierra Leone' Gala Dinner

Sarah Gadon attended the ‘Emergency: Jaeger-LeCoultre In Aid Of The Goderich Centre, Sierra Leone’ gala dinner held at the Excelsior Hotel during the 2013 Venice Film Festival in Venice, Italy yesterday evening.

The blonde Canadian actress selected a rich oxblood contour-seamed flared dress from Mulberry’s Fall 2013 collection in a shiny twill fabric, which is much preferred for an evening gala over the dress which took to the runway.

With Jaeger-LeCoultre sponsoring the event, it comes as no surprise that the actress was obligated to wear one of their timepieces. Roger Vivier have also been very prevalent on the red carpet at this festival; Sarah wears their Roger Vivier Virgule ‘Comma’ pumps in black patent leather.

At first I was slightly put off by the dark-oxblood lip colour, but I quickly found myself warming to the dark shade as it adds a lot of character to her look.

Do you agree, or is the lip colour a deal breaker?
