Saoirse Ronan In Valentino - Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2014

Saoirse Ronan attended the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar party on Sunday (March 2) in West Hollywood, California.

The Irish actress wore a breath-taking Valentino Pre-Fall 2014 short sleeve tulle black gown enriched with colourful butterfly embroidery.

Saoirse tends to go for the more simple, no-fuss option, so I’m delighted to see her opt for such a bold gown which she carries off beautifully.

A simple bun, barely-there makeup and stud earrings provided the finishing touches.

I’m sure many had this in their wish list for Cate Blanchett or Keira Knightley, so does the young Irish actress pull this off for you?

Saoirse Ronan In Sass & Bide - 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' New York Press Conference

Saoirse Ronan continued the promotional tour for ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ this week as she attended the New York Press Conference at the Crosby Hotel on Wednesday (February 26).

Wearing a black Sass & Bide jumpsuit with gold criss-cross detailing on the body and gold beading around the neckline, Saoirse completed the look with a pair of intricately embroidered black and gold Nichols Kirkwood peep-toe boots.

While I think she needs to work on her posing a little, this is a look that really suits the young actress’s age.

Saoirse’s patterned boots are a lovely addition but a slick of gold jewellery or a high-shine belt would have really added some extra polish.

The Proenza Schouler dress Saoirse wore to the premier earlier in the week received mixed reviews so how do you feel this look compares?

Saoirse Ronan In Proenza Schouler - 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' New York Premiere

Saoirse Ronan hit the red carpet at the long-awaited premiere of ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ in New York yesterday evening (February 26).

The 19 year old Irish beauty is the star the big-name designers want to dress and it seems Saoirse has found her perfect match in this Proenza Schouler flapper-style dress.

The white languid dress with frayed black trim and circular and square embellished pattern suits Saorise’s off-beat and fuss-free style to a tee, while still retaining a ravishing quality.

As we’ve already seen on the promotional tour, Saoirse likes to keep her styling simple, and here it is most effective.

While the black sandals are a little heavy, they are a modern choice for the young actress. And all Saoirse needed for this eye-catching dress was an on-trend ear cuff and a chic, loose up-do to really highlight her enviably flawless complexion and those almost hypnotic eyes.

There were mixed reviews from her Chanel and Narciso Rodriguez looks at the Prague photocall, so how do you think this one compares?

Saoirse Ronan In Narciso Rodriguez & Chanel - 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' Prague Photocall & Premiere

Saoirse Ronan’s next stop on her promo tour for her latest movie ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ was Prague, Czech Republic, where she attended a press conference and the premiere with her co-stars on Saturday (February 8).

Press Conference: Opting for a monochromatic look, she wore a Narciso Rodriguez bias-cut black-and-white jacquard dress. I love the 60s-mod feel of this look, especially when styled with white ankle boots.

Premiere: For the premiere the mood was still mod, as she donned a ladylike Chanel Spring 2014 white-trimmed navy Chanel Spring 2014 long-sleeved dress with patch pockets and button detailing. Taking her cue from the runway, she also styled her look with the dual-colour nude black-toe-cap Chanel boots.

I love both looks on Saoirse, as they are perfectly in tune with her no-fuss style. The majority of you weren’t so keen on her Berlin photocall and premiere looks, saying that the styling was sloppy for the photocall and that the gown overwhelmed her at the premiere.

How do these looks fare?

Saoirse Ronan In Valentino -'The Grand Budapest Hotel' Berlinale Film Festival PremiereAfter attending ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ photo call, Saoirse Ronan took to the red carpet alongside Léa Seydoux for the film’s premiere on Wednesday (February 6) during the 64th Berlinale Film Festival at the Berlinale Palast in Berlin, Germany.

The actress found inspiration in the Valentino Spring 2014 collection, wearing a loosely silhouetted, emerald-green gown.

Leaving most of the theatrical styling to the runway, she did add the drama of the same studded headband atop her sleek, straight locks. While she accessorized with a gold cuff, that pendant choker necklace was nowhere in sight.

She also skipped sandals in favour of black peep-toe heels.

The colour of the dress was captivating here. But my wish is that it had been a bit more flattering and bit less tent-like.

Saoirse Ronan In Vionnet -'The Grand Budapest Hotel'Saoirse Ronan joined Tilda Swinton at ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ Berlinale Film Festival photocall, held on Thursday (February 6) during the 64th Berlinale International Film Festival at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Berlin, Germany.

The actress donned a more casual look from the Vionnet Spring 2014 collection, highlighted by a beautifully hued, baby-blue poplin shirt wrapped in a whiff of tulle.

The top featured an interplay between structure and softness, but it lost some of its original runway appeal—perhaps because it wasn’t tucked in. Those cropped trousers also left something to be desired.

The more mannish overtones continued with a pair of black brogues.

Barely-there makeup and hardly-styled hair finished out this look, which just seemed to be lacking a bit of polish and gloss.

Saoirse Ronan In Peter Pilotto - British Independent Film Awards 2013

Saoirse Ronan attended the British Independent Film Awards 2013 held at Old Billingsgate Market in London on Sunday evening.

The Irish actress selected a Peter Pilotto Spring 2014 colourful frock with a compelling black floral overlay which gives this summery dress a more dark and mysterious vibe.

Delfina Delettrez jewels and simple black leather sandals styled the look, with Saoirse wearing her hair down and opting for a smoky eye and pink lip.

The last Peter Pilotto Spring 2014 dress didn’t translate too well on the red carpet; I’m sure you will agree that this one is much more successful.
