Jamie-Lynn Sigler glowed in her shimmering Donna Karan plunging gown.

Sandra Oh was in my top 5 Best Dressed of the night wearing a gold embroidered Marchesa strapless gown.

This has to be one of her best ever looks on the red carpet.

Jeanne Tripplehorn wore a custom-made Naeem Khan rose gold pebble sequin cap sleeve dress with ruched front pegged skirt.

Her look was paired with gold Louboutin heels.

Eva La Rue makes up for her ALMA’s disaster by wearing a gold silk Ysa Makino gown, with a pleated front and a chunky crystal neckline.

“The Spirit” Madrid Photocall

Eva Mendes looked sultry as she took the red carpet wearing a silk pink sheath Bill Blass Spring 2009 dress with bow detail.

She completed her chic look with a black belt and black patent pumps.

She is not even trying to be sexy here, it just oozes from every pore.

Menswear as womensear is very much on trend, but Scarlett Johansson make heavy work of this ivory 3.1 Phillip Lim Fall 2008 satin embellished blazer and black pants. It is just not very endearing at all.

As I have said before, this look works better for me when it’s more tailored.

The recently married actress wears her look with Louboutin heels.

Paz Vega wore a caramel Dolce & Gabbana sheath dress, with brown pattern tights and gold t-bar heels.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ANNEX NYC Grand Opening, New York

Taylor Momsen again channels her inner rock chick, wearing an Alexander Wang embellished mini dress with Balenciaga Fall 2008 heels.

Campari Club, 2009 Campari Calendar Launch, Milan

Donatella Versace is of course not wearing anything that was on the runway, she created this stunning hot pink asymmetric cocktail dress all for herself. ?

Celebration for the New Victoria’s Secret Lexington Avenue Flagship Store, New York

A shorter haired Heidi Klum arrived at this event wearing a black mini Louis Vuitton Spring 2009 strapless dress which had embellished detail on both sides of the dress.

The supermodel accessorized her dress with multiple bangles and stunning heels also from the Louis Vuitton Spring 2009 collection.

Chanel Iman legs appear to go on forever in her grey mini dress. The model wears her dress with Burberry Prorsum Ruched strap platforms.

Miranda Kerr is stunning in this red Herve Leger bandage dress, with nude heels.

Alessandra Ambrosio also wore nude heels, but with a cute white dress with a drop waist.

Doutzen Kroes’ LBD also incorporates the lace trend.

Black is very much everywhere on the red carpet, but a new trend – started by Beyonce – of high hair seems to be hitting the red carpet.

I love this sexy off-the-shoulder look on Ciara. Is it me or has she lost weight?

2009 Film Independents Spirit Award Nominations Press Conference, LA

Sandra Oh picked a sky blue dress, to blend in with the boards behind her.

I can not say I am crazy about this look, but I do love her Pierre Hardy velvet gladiator heels.

Diamond Empowerment Fund’s Empowerment for Africa Dinner, New York

Cassie arrived on the red carpet wearing a sexy black Vivienne Westwood Red Label crepe jersey draped dress, with a tan pair of YSL gold studded heels.

Kim Kardashian’s freshly cut bangs are not too bad, but the ruffles on her grey chiffon dress are too distracting.

3rd Annual Black & White Ball, St. Louis

Ashanti and her boo Nelly, who hosted the event were perfectly co-ordinated.

The singer showed off her stunning figure wearing a Notte by Marchesa black gown trimmed with lace and a satin bow.

She completed her look with Giuseppe Zanotti heels.

Sandra Oh wore a taupe Fendi feather trimmed dress, when she arrived at the Blindness premiere during the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival last month in Canada.

The actress wore her dress with grey croc t-bar sandals, and a black belt.

Daisy Lowe attended the Fendi ‘O’ party at Le Milliardaire club to celebrate Dita Von Teese’s 36th birthday in Paris, during Paris Fashion Week.

The model wearing the same dress with Fendi over-the-knee boots, but she wore her dress without the sleeveless feather trimmed shift dress underneath like Sandra.

For the mere fact that I can see Daisy’s bra and panties under her dress, she loses many point for me, but Sandra would have won anyway, because of her accessories.

The Fendi dress can be worn in three ways.

On the left is the pleated long sleeved dress and feather trimmed shift together, in the middle is just the feather trimmed shift, and on the right is the pleated long sleeved dress on it’s own.

This 3 in 1 dress can be purchased from Net-A-Porter’s US site for $3,690, and the international site for £1,690/€2,200.

For me I will always associate this RM by Roland Mouret Pre-Fall 2008 primrose yellow Kleber dress with Victoria Beckham walking the red carpet at the 2008 ESPY Awards, in her shades with her husband David Beckham by her side.

Actress Sandra Oh does not, as she wore the same dress to the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards Performer Nominee Reception held at the Pacific Design Center in California last month.

Unfortunately for Sandra, she picked the wrong shoes with this dress, but even without the shoes Victoria would still win for me, as girlfriend worked the hell out of this dress.

“Rachel Getting Married” Premiere

With her incredibly fierce heels, Anne Hathaway showed off her long legs to perfection wearing a vintage Jean Louis Scherrer tulle ballerina dress, with white and silver rosettes.

The actress looked glamorous, chic and extremely feminine in her playful dress. She complete with a sweet silver clutch.

“The Duchess” Premiere

After Keira’s stunning Alexis Mabille Couture dress last week, this grey shapeless bandeau dress, falls a lot flat for me.

Love the hair though.

“Blindness” Premiere

Julianne Moore wore a bold cobalt blue floor-length YSL gown with gold accents. The red haired actress carried the most exquisite gold clutch I have ever seen.

Sandra Oh loves to make bold choices on the red carpet, and does not disappoint here wearing a taupe long sleeved Fendi Feather swing dress dress with a feathered hem.

Evangeline Lilly is picture perfect in her strapless black and white strapless dress.

Burn After Reading Premiere

From couture she wore the the Venice Film Festival Tilda Swinton decided for a milder look to the Toronto Film Festival wearing a oversized white shirt and a long black skirt.

She adds multiple necklaces for added flair.

“The Secret Life Of Bees” Premiere

Alicia Keys wears a stunning pair of Jimmy Choo snake patchwork sandals, that have touches of purple, which perfectly compliment her spectacular purple strapless charmeuse dress by Nicole Miller.

As always Dakota Fanning is cute and age appropriate in her black full-skirted Zac Posen Zibeline Poof Mini Dress dress.

Jennifer Hudson wow the crowds in her olive green Lanvin Pre-Fall 2008 gown with a black bow.

She also wowed the crowds, when a big gush of wind blew up open her dress to reveal her black spanx under her dress.

Poor thing. How very embarrassing.

Queen Latifah asymmetric dress, matched her asymmetric hairstyle.

Sophie Okonedo’s blue ruched strapless dress, showed off her sexy silhouette.

“Middle of Nowhere” Premiere

No wonder we have not seen Sophia Bush at Fashion Week.

The One Tree Hill star kept it simple in a strapless LBD.

Willa Holland also opted for a strapless LBD, but her was layered with chiffon and had a cut bow on the bust line.

The actress wore her dress with a pair of eggplant Christian Louboutin Orniron Ankle Boots

Best Dressed Award

Amanda Bynes on her first major awards ceremony stood out from all the other veterans wearing this gorgeous Marchesa 2008 Resort strapless embellished gown.

Love the hair, but might have been better pulled back.

Joint Best Colour Award

This strapless cobalt blue L’Wren Scott Spring 2008 gown on Kyra Sedgwick was pure perfection.

Kyra has an amazing body, and this dress showed it off.

Joint Best Colour Award

These pictures do not do Vanessa Williams bright canary yellow Escada gown any justice. I was more even more vivid on TV.

Everything here is perfect, excluding her tan lines.

Best Over 50 Award

Glenn Close is stunning. Amazing for her 60 years.

I wish Meryl Streep would dress like this on the red carpet.

Risk That Paid Off Award

I know most of you probably hated this dress on Sandra Oh, but I loved it.

She took a risk by not choosing a major well known designer, but for me it works.

I loved the bow and the colours.

Most Fashion Forward Award

None of the other ladies on the red carpet would have dared to wear this sculpted Nina Ricci Spring 2008 strapless gown, and that is why I love Ellen Pompeo.

Best Embellishments Award

Debra Messing in Oscar de la Renta Spring 2008 stepped away from her usual black and her usual Michael Kors.

I loved the embellishments on the dress the first time I saw it on the runway, but I never picture Debra wearing it, but she does pull it off.

Best Haute Couture Award

Despite not going to any of the Haute Couture Fashion Shows at Paris Fashion Week last week, Christina still managed to get this Elie Saab Fall 2007 gown.

In typical Elie Saab fashion, the gown is embellished and uber glamourous.

Best Red Carpet Pose Award

No one can do that “sticking your ass out, while looking over your shoulder seductively pose” quite like Eva Longoria. So it was no wonder she chose a sexy Naeem Khan Spring 2008 backless dress to show of her derrière.

I am glad that there are no bangs in sight, and I see that Eva continues to favour the curly do for red carpet appearances.

Joint Best Black Award

Sans her fiance Michael Bolton, Nicollette Sheridan was stunning on the red carpet last night wearing a black strapless Marchesa gown.

This is by far the best I have ever seen her look.

Joint Best Black Award

Ana Oritz was smokin’ hot in this Pamela Dennis black body hugging gown.

Best Arm Candy Award

Keisha Whittaker looked so cute wearing this bubble gum pink Jenny Packham Spring 2008 sweetheart necklined gown.

She is always the perfect accessory for Forest Whittaker.

Most Improved Award

Brittany Snow has had a very inconsistent red carpet of late, but she looks great here in this Zuhair Murad sequined gown.

Best Pre-Fall 2008 Dress Award

Most Pre-Fall 2008 dresses are not usually red carpet ready, but Teri Hatcher looks divine in this floral Badgley Mischka Pre-Fall 2008 fishtailed gown.

I laughed when she was interviewed and she said that the did not believe in botox.

Best White Award

Becki Newton is back to her best wearing an Elsie Katz Couture white sequined dress.

I particularly love the tiered skirt.

Best Jewels Award

I loved Sara Ramirez’ jewels by H. Stern and Bo Chic. Her earrings were a perfect compliment to her satin strapless fuschia Angel Sanchez Spring 2008 gown.

Meh…Just OK Award

Ashely Tisdale stood up well on such a big stage wearing this white Badgley Mischka Spring 2008 dress.

Back To Her Best Award

Marion Cotillard looks beautifully chic in this corseted, pleated, and gathered Nina Ricci Spring 2008 gown.

Best Hair Award

Marcia Cross is wearing a Monique Lhuillier Pre-Fall 2008 teal gown. I think the colour works well with her red hair.

Best Colour Block Award

Jamie-Lynn Sigler is wearing an ensemble from Calvin Klein. The teal skirt is from the Calvin Klein Pre-Fall 2008 collection.
