I don’t think I have ever said this before in reference to Ashlee Simpson, but I LOVE what she is wearing.

Usually her look has a “I Wannabe In The Band” type of vibe to it, but here she channels a very cute, feminine summery look that I just can’t get enough of.

Her strapless shimmering champagne coloured Jill Stuart playsuit is so chic, which she pairs with pearls, a white Dolce & Gabbana clutch and grey Brian Atwood heels.

For me the best dressed at this event.

Katie Cassidy wore a modified Balenciaga leopard print dress from the Fall 2009 collection.

I love the draping detail around the hips defining the waist, with her bold multi-coloured clutch and silver strappy heels. I’m really happy black pumps are not in this picture.

I don’t know who Yvonne Strahovski is, but I knew it only took me 2 seconds to fall in love with her cute ensemble.

Her Camilla & Marc Spring 2008 striped blazer with her ivory skirt and blood red shoes has a Ralph Lauren feel to it.

Love it.

Jessica Stroup shows a bit of her sassy side wearing a shortened black strapless Rachel Roy Fall 2009 dress with lace panels.

She paired her dress with Stella McCartney black heels and a matching Sergio Rossi clutch.

I’ve loving how her bob is constantly evolving. I can barely remember how she looked with longer hair.

Jessica is neck and neck with Ashley Greene as my favourite red carpet newbie this year.

I go back and forth with everyone who wears Herve Leger. I know many of you wish these bandages dresses were burned, but some do look great.

This isn’t one of those times. Eliza Dushku is a busty lady and this type of dress doesn’t flatter.

I preferred this Herve Leger armor-trim dress on the runway with one strap rather than two, but I do love the YSL tribute sandals which complement the dress well.

Eliza also carried a bright colourful clutch.

“Lost” actress Emilie de Ravin has been MIA from the red carpet for a long while, but she makes a spectacular return wearing a beautiful ivory lace Max Azria Fall 2009 mini dress.

The runway dress is styled have more of a tougher edge, but Emile’s fully lined version appears softer although she added a studded belt to prevent her look from being too sickly sweet.

Like Alexa Chung, Cat Deeley is flying the flag for us Brits in the US but her chic style is more to my liking.

Cat wore British brands via her a white crochet Jaeger dress paired with tan Mulberry sandals.

Our English rose glows so beautifully, with clean golden locks.

Jennifer Morrison opted for a strapless orange Sonia Rykiel dress with a folded neckline and a voluminous skirt.

I love the bright colour and the cute braided hairstyle.

She pairs her look with a Raven Kauffman Couture clutch.

Miranda Cosgrove has such an infectious smile it’s hard not to love her.

The actress walked the red carpet wearing a Vena Cava Narthex tiered dress.

The brushstroke-print tiers on the bodice and hem adds a touch of colour to the cream sleeveless dress.

Dania Ramirez opted for a white Dolce & Gabbana trademark strapless bustier dress with a eyelet skirt and bright yellow heels.

Krysten Ritter wore red strappy sandals with her midnight blue Proenza Schouler quilted bustier dress.

The dress has a quilted silk charmeuse bustier with perfectly complements the voluminous pleated silk faille skirt.

Sanaa Lathan looked radiant wearing a Tadashi Shoji Fall 2009 hyacinth print chiffon one-shoulder dress.

Jordana Brewster’s Reem Acra Fall 2009 gold leaf jacquard halter dress with black belt, ensure she stood out amongst everyone else who opted for a more summery look.

Garcelle Beauvais opted for a full-length one-shouldered pale pink dress with a coral floral print.

She paired her dress with gold, a tan clutch and coral hooped earrings.

Maggie Grace is always so graceful.

I love her one-shouldered dress with a Dries van Noten Spring 2009-esqe mosaic print.

I’m really not keen on Shenae Grimes’ make-up, but her navy zipper trimmed Isabel Lu dress is cute.

Her look is paired with Miu Miu heels and a Kotour clutch.

Radha Mitchell wore a floaty floral vintage Cardinali dress and vintage KJL bangle from Decades Inc., paired with a Bottega Veneta clutch.

The white sunglasses and wedges add to the summery look she was going for.

Jessica Lucas wore a beautiful emerald one-shouldered Jay Godfrey Resort 2010 dress with a black waistband.

The “Melrose Place” actress accessorized with black pumps, a black clutch and a Swarovski bracelet.

The fashion roller coaster that is Lynn Collins takes another nose dive.

Although I do like the dress and the bright pink lips, the rest of the look feels alien the dress.

The hair is really granny-ifed and the Jeffrey Campbell Potion Ankle Boots - which are very similar to the Opening Ceremony boots - are very rock chick making this look too busy for me.

I love Sarah Jessica Parker’s Narciso Rodriguez dress, and her fuschia pink Christian Louboutin Very Galaxy pumps.

The spaghetti strapped dress, is far more interesting than the cutesy vintage dress she wore recently.

What I don’t like is the necklace. It seems so unnecessary on a dress that already has so much detail, with the print, and the sequin panel.

I also really hate her hair, as it’s so uncharacteristically messy. A Carrie-esqe slick back bun would have worked so much better here.

Sanaa Lathan makes a quiet impact on the red carpet, but she’s always consistently and effortlessly gorgeous, and last night was not exception.

She took to the red carpet wearing a floaty white silk chiffon v-neck Tadashi Shoji Fall 2009 dress, with a full skirt. The dress was accented with a black velvet belt, which she complimented with a black Roger Vivier clutch, and black peep-toes.

Maybe the wig got a bit too itchy, as Kim Kardashian returned to her natural raven locks, for which I’m very grateful. Her faux Beyonce look was just wasn’t working for me.

The TV star looks fabulous in a black strapless jumpsuit, with matching accessories, an outstanding gold chocker and red nails.

Kerry Washington look Fab-u-lous wearing Louis Vuitton Spring 2009 ensemble, which consisted of a black blazer, a silver and gold metallic obi belt, and a black feathered skirt.

Like I said at the end of last year, Kerry was one of the most consistent actresses to walk the red carpet in 2008.

Many of you argued that she didn’t take enough risks. I would say that looks to be changing in 2009, because there are no safe options from the Louis Vuitton Spring 2009 collection.

Kerry did not opt for the runway shoes. Instead she wore a pair of leopard print pumps that worked perfectly. ?

Halle Berry was equally impressive wearing a strapless nude Reem Acra Spring 2009 dress, with a gold metallic floral print.

I loved this dress, but the large folded detail at the back was a little too much for my liking.

She completed her look with gold matching Christian Louboutin slingbacks.

After visiting Gustavo Cadile on Thursday, I was really excited to see that Sanaa Lathan was wearing a dress I had seen in his studio.

The gorgeous chocolate dress, had a mesh overlay with stunning embroidered details, and sequins to give it some sparkle.

The dress was further decorated with a dark pink bowed sash at the waist, and smaller bows on the shoulders.

She completes her look with matching pumps, and a Mary Norton clutch.

GORGEOUS.

I am not crazy about Taraji P. Henson’s make-up, but I do like her Zac Posen dress. Very appropriate for ‘Ladies Who Lunch’.

Tia Mowry opted for a colourful dress with a lot of pizazz.

Tichina Arnold wore a black suit, with a ruffled hemmed skirt, but forgot to put a blouse under her jacket.

Her look was complete with YSL two tone heels.

Vivica A. Fox wore a gorgeous navy dress, with a stunning embellished neckline and pocket detailing.

She wore her dress with Balenciaga heels.

Garcelle Beauvious opted for a black dress with a textured white front bib, which she wore with black peep-toes.

Lauren London in all black with a white Chanel purse.

Tatyana Ali’s exotic gown seems a bit much for this event.

Jennifer Hudson pick up her outstanding new artist Award wearing a black Peter Sorenon dress, which had a feathered detail on the hip.

She completed her look with Givenchy lace ankle sandals.

Beyonce perform her song Halo wearing a gorgeous white gown, with a black band, and delicate embellishments on the bodice, which also cascaded down her skirt.

Jada Pinkett Smith wore a maroon strapless Monique Lhuillier gown, with a a vintage Judith Lieber belt.

I must say I am a bit disappointed the bigger stars did not take to the red carpet.

Taraji P. Henson added her increasing star quality to the red carpet wearing a gorgeous lemon halter neck mermaid Zac Posen gown.

I love the ruffled detail down the middle, and the layering of the hem.

A very chic Rosario Dawson walked the red carpet wearing a black silk taffeta Rafael Cennamo full-skirted dress.

Sanaa Lathan looked ravishing in this daring plunge neck jersey Donna Karan gown with black straps.

I am not a fan of Dakota Fanning’s nude strapless down. It feels too naked.

Alfre Woodard wore a Tadashi fuschia iridescent crinkled silk chiffon fly away cocktail dress. Her look was accessorized with a Mary Norton gold clutch.

Chandra Wilson impressed me on this red carpet.

Usually I find a fault, but the hair, the make-up, the jewels, the Daniel Swarovski clutch and her orange Pamella Roland Spring 2008 gown are all faultless.

Can you believe that this is Rudy Huxtable aka Keshia Knight Pulliam?

She stands out on the red carpet wearing an electric blue gown.

After Taraji, Vanessa Williams wore my second favourite gown on this red carpet. I love the colour, and jeweled detail on this one-shouldered gown.

Like Chandra, Tichina Arnold looks flawless. This baby blue gown really stands out and makes her glow.

Holly Robinson Peete wore a coral and silver Naeem Khan Spring 2008 patterned cocktail dress, with pewter strappy heels.

We’re more used to seeing Kerry Washington wearing flowing gowns, but she took a departure from that from that for a more edgier rock chick type look donning an all leather look for this event.

The actress wore a grey vintage leather sweet-heart neck-lined bustier with an asymmetrical ruffled piece and black Helmut Lang leather leggings.

She surprisingly pulls it off.

Dania Ramirez also went for a all leather edgy look, wearing a black embellished bustier with navy leather pants.

Kristen Bell sparkled in a pair of black sequined Monique Lhuillier pants, which she wore with a Enza Costa Rogue white tank.

I love the high waistband on her pants, but I don’t like her make-up in the close up.

Jennifer Morrison is truly gorgeous wearing a multi-coloured Missoni Pre-Fall 2009 bandeau print maxi dress.

Gabrielle Union finally dug deep in her closet to find a colour other than black to wear.

She opted for this lilac Emporio Armani dress with jeweled detail on the empire waist, which she wore with silver strappy sandals to complement her dress.

We’ve seen a lot of Sanaa Lathan on the red carpet. I feel like I have written about her every day.

For this event the beautiful actress wore a black asymmetrical Couture Couture by Juicy Couture shimmering belted dress, which she wore with Christian Louboutin d’Orsay Pumps.

Lindsay Price adopted the lace trend by wearing this sultry D&G lace shift dress with black peep-toes.

Every time I give Rumer Willis a compliment, she ruins it.

No make-up, her hair is not styled, she clearly pick the first thing she found on her bedroom floor to wear to this event, which leaves me feeling very disappointed in her lack of effort.

“Seven Pounds” LA Premiere

Sanaa Lathan looks radiant in this raspberry pleated dress with embellished detail around the neckline.

Well wadda you know, Gabrielle Union is wearing another black dress by Kaufman Franco.

The last time we saw her wear a colour other than black and navy was July 2008.

“The Wrestler” LA Premiere

Now this is what you call a pop of colour. Marissa Tomei brightened up the red carpet wearing an eye-catching electric blue plunge-neck Alexander McQueen Spring 2009 dress.

The gorgeous actress wore her dress with black pumps, a black Alexander McQueen skull clutch and her hair pulled back in an updo.

Maggie Grace is very much the golden girl in her nude mini Nicole Miller dress embellished with gold sequins, but from her hairline it looks like she is going grey.

Flame haired actress Evan Rachel Wood has been wearing a lot of champagne coloured dresses lately, but she reverted back to black and her gothic style for this premiere.

Her dress is vamped up with some vintage looking accessories, ’40s-style hair and very strong make-up.

I love her necklaces and the drop-waist nature of her dress.

Yeaaah Rachel Bilson is finally back on the red carpet. She is very casual here, but still looks very chic with her D&G Spring 2009 blue sequined blazer, white shirt, jeans and yellow clutch.

I adore Zoe Saldana.

So cute, so fresh faced, and totally working this black D&G Spring 2008 tunic dress with multiple embellishments.

Lauren Conrad is the 20-something version of Jennifer Aniston, but I do like that cute bow in her hair.

I was quite harsh on Rumer Willis’ flame red hair before, but it is kinda growing on me.

The actress wore a daring backless navy and white printed D&G Spring 2009 halter-neck dress, which revealed her ‘Be Present’ tattoo.

Nicole Richie and her beau are beautifully co-ordinated in their D&G black ensembles.

Ginnifer Goodwin is also in all black, but breaks it up with a large statement necklace and tan pumps.

Jennifer Morrison wears a gorgeous black velvet D&G dress.

Yep more black on the red carpet, this time it was Gabrielle Union wearing a very sexy LBD with ruching and black leather detail on the sleeves and hem.

Leelee Sobieski - boho chic at its very best.

Sanaa Lathan wore a gold embellished D&G dress, with black strappy sandals.

I love the beret. Tres chic.

Yikes. I am not quite sure what happened to Marley Shelton’s dress, but I know I don’t like it.

Thankfully Nicky Hilton is not wearing black, instead she is wearing a nude bustier drop-waist dress, with matching heels.

Paris Hilton wore a black floral print dress, which is not a colour we are used to seeing on her.

She is more of a pukey pink kinda gal.
