Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Salma Hayek was on the red carpet last night supporting her favourite brands at the AMC Loews Lincoln Square for the ‘Here Comes The Boom’ New York premiere.

The Mexican actress wore a Stella McCartney Spring 2013 dress which did a fabulous job of keeping her twins under control. This is a relief considering her last outing.

This strapless corseted dress with a pleated lace sheer skirt is a beautiful look for Salma. The hit-and-miss star is a sure-fire hit here.

I love the red Bottega Veneta clutch for a pop of colour along with her red lip shade.

Wavy tresses and Brian Atwood ‘Yvesse’ peep-toes with a Swarovski heel completed her look.

Is this a hit or miss for you?

Jessica Chastain, Salma Hayek and Kate Moss attended the Saint Laurent Spring 2013 fashion show during Paris Fashion Week on Monday in Paris, France.

Jessica Chastain: The actress wore a charming white-and-black polka-dotted YSL vintage dress designed by maestro Saint Laurent himself. She styled the look with a YSL blazer, the celebrity favourite, YSL ‘Tribtoo’ pumps and a rich red lip colour.

Salma Hayek: She looked divine wearing a YSL black dress with a sheer bow-accented top and a sequined pencil skirt. Emerald jewels and a frosty pink lip colour added a few pops of colour to her all-black look. YSL accessories including black satin pumps and a leather shoulder bag completed her look.

Kate Moss: I love Kate’s slouchy boots which she wore with her black mini dress. The long-sleeved LBD with a sheer polka-dot yoke was accessorized with a black clutch.

Salma Hayek was joined by her ‘Savages’ co-stars John Travolta and Benicio Del Toro in London this afternoon for the photocall for their latest movie.

The Mexican actress wore a colour-block Roland Mouret ‘Mercy’ dress.

I love the maroon and petrol-blue together, the origami detail and the way the dress gives her a tiny waist, but there is too much boobage going on. Excuse me for being so blunt.

Salma looked so demure in her last Roland Mouret dress during Venice Film Festival, but on this look is a litte too ‘in-yer-face’ for my liking.

Complementing the petrol-blue with a matching pair of Giuseppe Zanotti bow-accented platform heels, Salma completed her look with luscious curly locks, Dana Rebecca Designs earrings and a rouge lip colour.

Gorgeous? or TMI?

Salma Hayek attended the 38th Deauville American Film Festival Closing Ceremony on Saturday night.

For the event the actress chose to wear a gown by British designer Stella McCartney.

Salma looked her stunning self on the red carpet, but I’m not sure everything about this dress works.

While the skirt is a great length – showing offer her slim ankles and peep-toe platforms – the reverse scoop bodice seems to jolt. Perhaps it’s because I’m so used to seeing her enhancing rather than hiding her cleavage?

I love the pop of colour provided by her aqua Judith Leiber East/West crocodile clutch and Graziela earrings.

Salma Hayek continued to wow yesterday while strolling the streets of Venice.

The actress, who’s in the city for the annual film festival, looked stunning in a tangerine Roland Mouret dress from the Resort 2013 collection.

For the look, Salma eschewed a waist sculpting skinny belt, opting instead for a black beaded necklace.

She kept her other accessories low key too, choosing a Gucci ‘Emily’ shoulder bag and a pair of nude YSL Tribute pumps to complete the outfit.
