Sabrina Carpenter In Celine – Billboard Women In Music 2017

With a list of attendees including Camila Cabello, Ciara, Selena Gomez, Taraji P. Henson, Elle Fanning and Solange Knowles, attending the Billboard Women In Music event on Thursday (November 30) in Hollywood, California, you haven’t liked a single look.

I’m wondering if Sabrina Carpenter could be the one to save this red carpet.

The singer wore a pink Celine Spring 2017 draped, caped dress styled with Casadei’s signature ‘Blade’ pumps.

I think the key to making this look work was to style is minimally, which she did, and try not to over complicate the placement of cape.

So, did Sabrina successfully execute this look for you?

Variety’s 1st Annual Hitmakers Luncheon Red Carpet Roundup

In addition to Hailee Steinfeld, a few other stars were at Variety’s 1st Annual Hitmakers Luncheon on Saturday (November 18) in LA.

Kat Graham: Ever so coordinated to the day’s signage, Kat donned a John Galliano Spring 2018 suit. But, what I loved even more was the cool, preppy edge she brought to the tailoring with Gucci ‘Brixton’ horsebit loafers and a matching, cream hat. It was so relevant and effortless.

Machine Gun Kelly: I’m really intrigued by what the entertainer is bringing to the scene. With this OAMC parka jacket, cropped plaid pants, and Reebok classic sneakers, he’s colouring outside the lines of unconventional style, yet without an overly zany sense of try-hard. I would have just skipped the bathrobe sash.

Sabrina Carpenter: Even those this sheer No. 21 Spring 2018 dress had an element of sportiness in the hoodie detail, I found the belt and black Casadei boots to be too harsh of contrast for its more ethereal quality. The same goes for the makeup look.

2017 MTV EMAs Red Carpet Roundup

While many will still be talking about Rita Ora’s double bathrobe moment at the 2017 MTV EMAs on Sunday (November 12) in London, there were plenty of other daring looks to likewise borrow some of the spotlight.

Leomie Anderson: I love how the model looked to vintage Vivienne Westwood inspiration in this Fall 1994 look. Her high ponytail and combat boots added another layer of sassy edge to the look that had plenty of modern edge.

Demi Lovato: Proving that plaid and a paper-bag waist can somehow maintain a sexy appeal, Demi worked the proportions of this Styland suit to her advantage. Giuseppe Zanotti plafforms were clearly necessary given the length of the pants, with Messika jewelry rounding out the look. If the super-long extensions get a pass, it’s only because of this being a MTV occasion.

Tallia Storm: Her Topshop ‘Cosmic Star’ embellished slip dress offered an accessible interpretation on red-carpet dressing. I can easily see the socks and platforms being a sticking point, however, they did bring funky appeal, with an Alexander McQueen clutch for a bit of overt British flavour to finish the look.

2017 Radio Disney Music Awards

A range of young starlets came out for the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards on Saturday (April 29) in LA.

Skai Jackson
: While Skai has impressed with her youthfully exuberant style, this Marc Jacobs Spring 2017 lace frock was a bit too overachieving for its own good. At first I blamed the feathered sleeves, but I think it was the neck piece that sent the dress into an overwrought Victoriana spirit.

Kelsea Ballerini
: This sexy little Versus Versace Fall 2016 number had all the hallmarks of the brand with its body-con silhouette and edgy hardware. She attempted to bring some youthful fun to the sultriness of the look with a star-studded clutch, a LEGEND AMRAPALI Surya triple spike ring and bubblegum-pink Tamara Mellon ‘Frontline’ sandals.
