Ruth Wilson In Balenciaga - 'Lone Ranger' Berlin Premiere

Ruth Wilson was serving up plenty of attitude on the red carpet for the ‘Lone Ranger’ Berlin premiere held at Sony Centre in Germany this evening.

The British actress wore a black-and-white Balenciaga Fall 2013 look which leaves me breathless.

Her sharp separates included a white sleeveless top with embroidered details paired with cropped straight leg pants, which she styled with black-and-white marbled t-bar pumps, a single silver bracelet and glossy lips.

It’s a simple look, yet it has an undeniable edge. I adore this look from head-to-toe.

Do you love this as much as I do?

Ruth Wilson In Alexander McQueen - 'The Lone Ranger' LA Premiere

So many actresses who attended ‘The Lone Ranger’ LA premiere at Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, California on Saturday evening wore mini dresses, but as the star of the movie, Ruth Wilson opted for something with more grandeur.

The British actress wore an Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2013 navy gown with a white ruffled neckline.

Unlike the gown in the lookbook, Ruth’s version doesn’t feature the embroidered details.

I much prefer Ruth’s more impactful look with its sharp contrasting colours which she styled with Van Cleef & Aprels jewels and loose waves.

Dior Cruise 2014 Celebrity Front Row

The Christian Dior Cruise 2014 presentation took place in Monaco yesterday evening with many celebs taking to the front row to select their red carpet looks first hand.

Jessica Biel: Easily my favourite of the bunch. Jessica seems to have fallen back in love with fashion and it shows in her choice. She selected an ensemble from the Fall 2013 collection featuring a black, pink and white houndstooth print bustier and draped black skirt with a bright pink insert. The most vivid colour came from her pink lip shade which elevated what was already a spectacular look. A side-swept bun, off-white sandals and dazzling David Webb jewels provided the finishing touches.

Marion Cotillard: The French beauty kept her look simple opting for a white Dior trench coat from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection. What I love most about this look are her black Dior pumps with a neon-yellow toe-cap.

Ruth Wilson: The British actress wore a navy strapless bustier silk dress featuring the printed Warhol ‘Femme Head 1958′ artwork and gold ‘High Heel 1956′ embroidery. I love the dress and the styling which included lavender pumps and a navy-blue clutch, however, her hair and makeup and overall dishevelment puts me off this look.

Zhang Ziyi: Representing Asia, Zhang was the picture of elegance wearing a black-and-white look from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection. While the high-low hem isn’t a look we always appreciate. I think the look works really well on this occasion, mostly because the look isn’t too overworked and the styling is kept simple with a black clutch, white pumps and Dior jewels.

Ruth Wilson walked the red carpet at Old Billingsgate Market in London yesterday evening for the British Independent Film Awards 2012.

Dressed in a Jason Wu Spring 2013 ensemble, the look works perfectly for a winter’s evening.

A gold Jason Wu ‘Karlie’ clutch and simple black peep-toes accessorise her look, which featured a long-sleeve stamped silk blouse with sheer lace sleeves, yoke and neck tie, paired with high-waist tapered pants with floral lace inserts at the sides.

Simple, effortless, got-ready-in-5-minutes chic at its best.

The 58th London Evening Standard Theatre Awards took place in London on Sunday evening.

Ruth Wilson attended wearing a Christian Dior Spring 2013 Couture ensemble.

As you know the last two Dior collections have been losing their appeal somewhat for me, since only two actresses appear to be monopolizing nearly all the pieces, so to see someone not on the Dior payroll wearing a look is very refreshing.

The British actress wore a fuchsia corseted dress with a central slit with the cropped black pants we saw on the runway.

Black Dior pumps, a gold cuff and black clutch accessorized her look, with a quiffed updo and red lips providing the finishing touches to her part-feminine, part-masculine look.

Here are some more looks from Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards which took place at Claridge’s Hotel in London yesterday evening.

Ellie Simmonds: We’ve had the face of and the voice of the 2012 London Olympics; here we have the face of the Paralympics, Ellie Simmonds. The athlete wore a midnight-blue Stella McCartney dress with a V-neckline and black embellishments. She was honoured on the night with Victoria Pendleton and Jessica Ennis, all receiving the ‘British Ambassadors of the Year’ award.

Daisy Lowe: The model opted for pale makeup with smoky eyes and blood-red lips while wearing an embellished Elie Saab gown. Her ¾-length-sleeve gown was styled with a Charlotte Olympia clutch. Daisy often opts for this type of makeup so it wasn’t just for Halloween.

Ruth Wilson: The British actress wore a black silk camisole top with her striking Peter Pilotto Spring 2013 skirt with a flounced hem. Black Kirkwood pumps and an Anton Heunis three crystal square statement necklace accessorized her look.

Yasmin Le Bon: The supermodel wore a Willow Resort 2013 draped top and loose-fit pants with a snakeskin print which she styled with petrol-blue Nicholas Kirkwood peep-toes and a silver clutch. Read more…
