Rumer Willis In Franziska Fox – ELLE’s 5th Annual Women In Music Concert Celebration

Rumer Willis In Franziska Fox - ELLE’s 5th Annual Women In Music Concert Celebration

Rumer Willis arrived at ELLE’s 5th annual Women In Music concert celebration on Tuesday (April 22) in Hollywood, California.

The actress, who DJ’ed at the event, opted for shock factor over style when she donned this Franziska Fox Fall 2014 crop top and cut-out pencil skirt.

It’s shocking how she would think that it was a good idea to display both her bikini line and pink pants for all to see.

To call this tacky would be just scratching the surface, which is a shame because from the belly up she looks great.

Sigerson Morrison ‘Melania’ sandals and a Vince Camuto clutch accessorized her look.

Does anyone think she is rockin’ this look?

Rumer Willis In Minimale Animale & Lanvin – ‘The Clothing Coven’ Blog Launch Party

Rumer Willis In Minimale Animale & Lanvin - 'The Clothing Coven' Blog Launch Party

Rumer Willis attended the launch party of Tallulah Willis and Mallory Llewellyn’s fashion blog ‘The Clothing Coven’ held at Elodie K. on Friday (April 4) in West Hollywood, California.

The actress opted for a black and white combo, donning a Minimale Animale ‘Firebird’ black mesh swimsuit with all the important bits covered with neoprene, styled with a black Lanvin pencil skirt, white Aperlai strappy sandals and Elodie K jewels.

It’s a daring, risqué look and one she would’ve pulled off if she’d had more support up front.

Rumer Willis In Hernan Lander - Vanity Fair and FIAT Celebration Of ‘Young Hollywood’

Rumer Willis attended the Vanity Fair and FIAT celebration of ‘Young Hollywood’ held at No Vacancy on Tuesday (February 25) in Los Angeles, California.

Working an overtly sexy look at this teen party, the strawberry-blonde-haired actress wore a Hernan Lander Fall 2014 leather dress with sheer inserts within the cut-out details in the bodice.

Upping the ante with the look, she styled it with gold-accented ankle-strap sandals, EFFY Jewelry black diamond bangle and vampy red nails.

Sexy or trashy?

Coachella 2013

Coachella 1

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, which kicked off this past weekend, is always a hotbed of eclectic, look-at-that ensembles, as the fest flaunts an anything-goes attitude that many stars are plenty keen to adopt. Cutoffs, crop tops and crochet all come out of the closet, and it’s the one time where even the most reprehensible faux-pas can get a free pass on the fairground—even if they shouldn’t.

Kristen Stewart: The most memorable part of this Kristen sighting was that she was arm-in-arm with her on-and-off boyfriend, Robert Pattinson. Her T-shirt, too-short shorts and Converse kicks were a complete yawn and paled in comparison to Coachella’s other cool and crazy looks. Of course, she would probably say she’s just there for the music not the photo op.

Solange Knowles: The singer continued her love affair with colour and print in this bubblegum-pink Hawaiian floral skirt and melon-orange CC Skye box clutch. Here, though, her go-to style didn’t work so well. The slit was too high, and her white Stuart Weitzman sandals were far too mumsy. She just looked uncomfortable.

Bella Thorne: The up-and-coming starlet really was the flower-child of the fest with her tiara of blooms worn atop her long auburn strands. At only 15, she can get away with shredded denim, a mesh shirt and sneakers, and still look charming.

Who Wore Alice + Olivia Better…Rumer Willis, Krysten Ritter or Zendaya Coleman?

Who Wore Alice + Olivia Better Rumer Willis, Krysten Ritter or Zendaya Coleman

Rumer Willis was the first to wear this Alice + Olivia ‘Bergen’ beaded dress to the amfAR Inspiration Gala in LA back in October.

The party-ready, retro fit-and-flare frock with animal-print beading and a full tulle skirt was styled with black glitter YSL ‘Tribute’ sandals and a silver clutch.

Krysten Ritter is a fellow fan of Stacey Bendet’s fun and fanciful girlie frocks so I wasn’t surprised to see her also don this look.

The ‘Don’t Trust The B**** in Apartment 23’ star wore the same dress while filming scenes for her hit show on the streets of Manhattan a few weeks later.

Pops of red via her glasses, nails and pumps gave this look an extra kick.

Zendaya Coleman gave this sassy dress a third run out at the 2012 American Music Awards mid-November.

Pink was injected into her look via her lips and nails, with spiked Louboutins and a black clutch completing her look.

Rumer doesn’t quite have that girlie vibe to pull off this look for me, so it’s down to Krysten and Zendaya.

Zendaya eventually won for me as I love the addition of the belt – which was lacking from the other two looks – her faux bob, and the sugary pink is preferred over the fierce red with this look.

Rumer Willis In Alice + Olivia – 2013 People’s Choice Awards

Rumer Willis In Alice + Olivia - 2013 People’s Choice Awards

Rumer Willis can be somewhat of a loose cannon on the red-carpet; sometimes she hits and other times she misses. Yesterday evening’s 2013 People’s Choice Awards at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in California was definitely a hit for the young starlet.

She went for all-out glamour in an Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet Fall 2012 gown. It was a paillette-encrusted marvel with alternating diagonal black and silver striping, a pattern that proved quite figure-flattering.

To offset the high neckline and cap sleeve of the dress (and to show off the keyhole back detail), Rumer swept her hair back into a messy updo, but added some face-framing softness with loose layers around her face.

Her silvery box clutch was the perfect match with its quartz-inspired detail, and her sapphire Bochic statement earrings were stunning.

amfAR’s Inspiration Gala

Here are the rest of the looks from yesterday evening’s amfAR’s Inspiration Gala, held at Milk Studios in California.

Kristin Davis: You pretty much know what you’re going to get from a Kristin Davis look: a pretty fit-and-flare dress. It’s a formula which has worked so well for her in the past and this vintage Lanvin midnight-blue dress with an ivory slash across the bodice proves that the formula still works. Navy Christian Louboutin sandals and a silver clutch completed her look.

Octavia Spencer: Award season may be over, but Octavia’s love for Tadashi Shoji continues. The Oscar-winning actress looked stunning wearing a custom black-and-nude lace-embroidered dress with an on-trend peplum detail. Black accessories and silver jewels completed her look.

Rumer Willis: The actress donned a cute Alice + Olivia dress with a nude bodice decorated with black sequins and a poufy A-line skirt. Black glitter YSL Tribute sandals and a silver clutch with crystal embellishments accessorized her look. I wish Rumer had opted for softer makeup for this look. The heavy kohl-rimmed eyes and bright red lips don’t work for me with this dainty look.
