Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Before the 2011 SAG Awards, Rose McGowan attended Entertainment Weekly’’s celebration honoring the SAG Awards nominees at the Chateau Marmont in California.

She looked divine wearing an Issa pink satin dress.

You may remember we noticed a style transformation with Rose last year wearing Issa.

The brand clearly suits her, or at least the colour, because she’s glowing here.

Matching pink lippie and a silver cuff completed her look.

We don’t see enough of Juan Carlos Obando on the red carpet, so I was happy to see Rose McGowan wearing a look from the designers Spring 2011 collection.

The actress wore the dress when she arrived at ‘A Night Of Red Carpet Style’ hosted by People StyleWatch at Decades in LA last night.

I love bright colour, the plunging neckline and flared skirt. Her hair and make-up are also flawless.

Rose is really having fun with fashion at the moment. I’ve loved all her recent choices.

Many of you didn’t like Olivia Wilde’s gold spiked Christian Louboutin ankle boots which she wore to the Golden Globe Awards, but I’m sure you’ll agree that Rose’s silver version work perfectly with her dress.

I’m loving what appears to be new found confidence on the red carpet from Rose McGowan.

She continues to embrace bold vibrant colours on the red carpet.

At the “Dead Awake” LA Premiere this week she wore an electric blue Amanda Wakeley dress with a plunging neckline and draped detail on the skirt.

The colour yet again is divine against her milky completion.

Samantha Wills jewels and Christian Louboutin Romaine 140 platform sandals.

I like the heels, but not with this dress. Something more daintier would’ve been preferred.

The second I saw Rose McGowan in this Issa dress as the MOCA Gala I knew she was going to be my Best Dressed this week.

Usually someone changes my mind towards the end of the week, but no one came close.

You guys shared my love for Rose in this dress. Some of you commented that this is the best she’s ever looked on the red carpet and I whole-heartedly agree.

The dress is simple yet gorgeous and the accessories were breath-taking and complementary.

There was nothing to fault about this look. She was totally flawless.

On a red carpet full of Chanel, McGowan is the one who came up smelling of roses.

Nicola Roberts from UK girl group, Girls Aloud wore this emerald green Issa silk jersey gown to the Make-A-Wish Winter Ball in London last year.

She looked sensational pairing her dress with a gold necklace and a silver Alexander McQueen clutch with a gold skull clasp.

Nearly exactly a year on actress Rose McGowan wore the same dress to “The Artist’s Museum Happening” MOCA Los Angeles Gala this weekend.

She too looked amazing in the dress.

I think the dress works so well against their pale skin tones.

Rose’s added Tresor turquoise drop earrings and matching Ippolita bangles.

I’ve always loved Nicola’s style and as much as I want to give this to her, Rose’s accessories blew me away with this look so she wins for me.

Actress Rose McGowan wore a shortened version of this Valentino Spring 2010 frill trimmed dress to the premiere of “When In Rome” in LA.

Chloe Sevigny recently wore the runway version of this rose coloured dress to the 2010 Golden Globes.

Although we named her one of the best dressed stars of the night, a lot of you didn’t agree and found her look too busy.

I can’t decide how I feel about Rose’s take on this dress. I think that by shortening it she has lost a lot of its drama.

I also think she’s quite pale to be wearing this colour – it washes her out slightly.

What’s your take on this dress? Do you prefer it to the longer runway look?
