Rose Byrne In Erdem – ‘I Give It A Year’ New York Screening

Rose Byrne In Erdem - 'I Give It A Year' New York Screening

Following last week’s run promoting ‘Blue Jasmine’, Rose Byrne attended the screening of her other movie, ‘I Give It A Year’, which was held at 79 Crosby Street in New York City yesterday evening.

The Australian actress selected a long-sleeved Erdem Fall 2013 rich-textured blue, yellow and purple floral frock with black chiffon inserts and a layer over the floral skirt.

This dark and lovely English-garden frock is a refreshing sidestep away from the pretty, light-coloured frocks she tends to favour.

I love the sultry smoky eye makeup as it works perfectly with her moody dress which she styled with Jimmy Choo metallic silver pumps.

Yet another fashion home run for Rose.

Get the Look: Rose Byrne’s ‘Blue Jasmine’ Textured Summer Updo

Get the Look Rose Byrne’s Textured Summer Updo

Rose Bryne walked the red carpet for the ‘Blue Jasmine’ LA premiere looking the very picture of summer. So we went to her hairstylist Richard Marin and got the full details on how to recreate the look on your own hair.

First, Marin sprayed Rose’s wet hair with L’anza Healing Smooth Thermal Defense Heat Styler and then blow dryed it with a Remington TIStudio Silk Ceramic Ionic AC Professional Hair Dryer to ensure her hair was protected from the heat and frizz-free.

Next, Marin took a ¾ inch curling iron and curled every other section of Rose’s hair–by using her own texture along with the curled waves, Marin had a multi-textured look to work with.

Then, Marin took Oribe Rough Luxury Molding Wax and ran it through the hair to break up the curls and blend the textures together.

Next, he dragged the hair into a high ponytail and fastened it at the crown with a Blax hair band. Next, he bobby pinned the hair into a loose bun, and finally, finished the look by spraying Rene Furterer Huile D’été Protectrice Protective Summer Oil to add shine, tame flyaways and give a carefree summer effect.

Rose Byrne In Christopher Kane – ‘Blue Jasmine’ LA Premiere

Rose Byrne In Christopher Kane - 'Blue Jasmine' LA Premiere

Rose Byrne looked as graceful as ever taking to the red carpet at the AMPAS Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, California, for the ‘Blue Jasmine’ LA premiere.

The Australian actress wore a Christopher Kane Resort 2014 dress, which is our second look at the collection on the red carpet within a week.

She selected a pretty white cotton broderie dress which maintains the designer’s edge with pointy edges along the hemline and shoulders.

Casadei ‘Rodio Steelix’ pumps (as seen on Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Selena Gomez) and a classic Edie Parker ‘Jean’ clutch in an eye-catching lavender hue accessorized her look with barely-there makeup and a wavy updo providing the finishing touches.

I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t change a thing. This is perfection personified.

Chanel Fall 2013 Couture Show Front Row

Chanel Front Row 1

Chanel’s Fall 2013 Couture show took place at the Grand Palais in Paris, France this morning, with celebrity guests from all over the world taking seats in the front row.

Rihanna: The singer, who was out at dinner in Paris last night, wore a full-length Chanel cardigan from the Resort 2014 collection, making full use of the opening, which acted as a slit to show off her pins. As for the plunge, she decorated it with an array of Chanel pearl necklaces – just not enough to cover that tattoo on her chest. The rest of her accessories included a cream quilted vanity case and cream pumps with a black toecap, both of which are from the Chanel Resort 2014 collection. Even though this look could be considered just-rolled-out-of-bed, I have to say she makes it work for her.

Kristen Stewart: The ‘Twilight’ actress has sat front row at many shows for Balenciaga, but this was her first show during Couture week. No one should be surprised she opted for the shortest shorts Chanel have ever produced, teaming them with a white double-breasted jacket from Chanel’s Resort 2014 collection. Her menswear-inspired look was styled with black leather fingerless gloves, chain bracelets, Jean-Michel Cazabat Evangelina pumps, a slicked-back ponytail and smoky eyes. Love her or loathe her, she totally nailed this look. It’s everything I would expect from Kristen, with an extra dose of attitude.

Clemence Poesy: The French actress selected a Chanel Spring 2013 boucle skirt suit inspired by a classic tuxedo. While it’s an interesting look, it feels weighty. I would’ve loved Clemence to have selected something from the Resort 2014 collection.

Rose Byrne In Zara, Topshop & Madewell – ‘I’m So Excited’ New York Screening

Rose Byrne In Zara, Topshop & Madewell - ‘I’m So Excited’ New York Screening

Rose Byrne joined Blanca Surez for the screening of ‘I’m So Excited’ held at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema in New York City on Thursday evening.

The actress opted for a casual approach, wearing a black-and-white leopard-print Zara coat, black Topshop jeans and a sheer printed Madewell sweater.

Considering this wasn’t her movie and that it was a screening, this laid-back, cinema-lover look was the right way to go.

Black patent leather pumps and a Celine shoulder bag accessorized the look, with glossy tresses and an orange lip colour providing the finishing touches.

Rose Byrne In Thakoon – 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards

Rose Byrne In Thakoon - 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards

Rose Byrne attended the 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards, hosted last night in New York City at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center.

Quite a few short, cocktail frocks took to the CFDA red carpet, and the ‘Bridesmaids’ actress flaunted one of them in her party-girl dress by Thakoon.

The plunging, black matte paillettes bodice transitioned into a fancy apron-like overlay for the printed and pleated crinkle lace skirt underneath.

Chunky, Ferragamo mauve satin pumps were another puzzling contrast.

She was the presenter for the Accessories Designer of the Year (Phillip Lim took the prize), and I wanted to love Rose’s outfit. But in the end, I was less than thrilled by the way it photographed.

It is hard to argue with a ravishing red-orange lippie. But the tousled hair, with bangs twisted and pinned back at the top, seemed a bit too casual to carry off the rest of the look.

Rona Pfeiffer jewels provided the finishing touches.
