Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Jennifer Lopez was very much on-trend wearing her electric blue Marchesa strapless gown, which had a matching blue jewel detail on the empire-waist.

I much prefer this dress to her gold Golden Globes dress. This is what she should have worn, much more classy.

I adore this green Oscar de la Renta gown on Shakira. The large bow on some would have been overbearing, but I think she carries it well.

The only thing I will say is that I prefer a wavy haired Shakira.

Paulina Rubio follows the Golden Globes nude trend, with this nude strapless gown.

This deep purple halter gown is not the most flattering for Rosario Dawson.

She bizarrely wears her dress with purple suede pumps, and her make-up is too pale. Not a great look for Rosario.

Rosie Perez squashes her lady lumps in this black Dolce and Gabbana dress with a silver embellished detail.

After wearing a lot of bright vibrant colours this week, Rosario Dawson opted for a navy Ports 1961 50s style dress, when she attended the Rome photocall of her new film Seven Pounds yesterday.

The taffeta dress has exposed pockets, which she wore with black patent heels. The actress opted out of wearing the contrast bow which was presented on the runway.

For the premiere, Rosario brought out her not so secret weapon.

Her deadly curves. Those delicious curves hugged every inch of this Bottega Veneta Fall 2008 dress, which is the shorter version of the same dress Sarah Michelle Gellar and Christina Ricci wore last year.

Despite all her colourful dresses, this is the best she has looked all week.

“Seven Pounds” Germany Premiere

Rosario Dawson is certainly not afraid of colour on her European promotional tour.

The actress arrived on the red carpet wearing a multi-coloured asymmetrical Azzaro Spring 2009 dress last night, which had a jeweled detail on the shoulder, and a tie around the waist.

Not loving her shoe choice with this gorgeous dress.

20th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala, Palm Springs

This deep burgundy strapless J.Mendel Pre-Fall 2009 dress, accented with a black velvet bow, lets me know that Amy Adams is still one of the best dressed stars on the red carpet.

Dakota Fanning is so cute, but I am not crazy about her dress. I think its because I can picture Paris Hilton wearing it, in that size.

I love Taraji P. Henson’s maroon peep-toe booties, but her dress looks very messy with all those creases.

2008 New York Film Critic’s Circle Awards, New York

Penelope Cruz was honoured for her role in Vicky Cristina Barcelona at the New York Film Critics Circle Awards this week.

The Spanish actress wore a gorgeous Oscar de la Renta one-shoulder black dress, with square paillette embellishments, and feathering around the neckline and hemline.

She completed her look with Chopard jewels, and nude platform pumps.

Thank god the holidays are over, because everyone is back hitting the red carpet.

Rosario Dawson was in Paris with co-star Will Smith to promote their new movie Seven Pounds.

When Rosario arrived at the premiere, she wore a lilac taffeta strapless dress by the iconic French designer Sonia Rykiel.

The dress has either been modified from runway version, or Rosario’s curves fill the dress better. A white trim appears on both the bodice and the hem, plus the dress has panels that form a small train at the back of the dress.

She completes her fabulous look with violet suede Louboutin’s.

Très beau.
