Rita Ora In Versace – The Fashion Awards 2017

Rita Ora stunned at The Fashion Awards on Monday (December 4) in London.

The singer wore a vintage Versace dress which I believe is from the 1980s, as that’s when Gianni Versace’s love for oroton metal mesh began.

I love how the lace brings a sensuality to the strong metal and how the colour is radiant against her skin.

Rita Ora In Zuhair Murad Couture – 2017 Bambi Awards

After failing to humor you with her bathrobe look at the 2017 MTV EMAs, Rita Ora objective was to dazzle you at the 2017 Bambi Awards.

The singer, who performed at the event, opted for a highly glamorous look wearing a Zuhair Murad Fall 2017 Couture gown adorned with crystal embellishments and feathers.

I know what you’re thinking? Beyonce wants her gown back, but I kinda like this look in this setting.

The Bambi Awards has always been about the “go big gowns”.

You remember Heidi Klum’s Zac Posen gown and Rita’s Marchesa look from 2015?

This is not the event to play it safe.

Rita Ora In Palomo Spain – 2017 MTV EMAs

When you’re Rita Ora and you’re hosting the 2017 MTV EMAs, a sheer dress or a dress slashed to the navel ain’t going to cut it, so she opted to take things to the next level by wearing two bathrobe-inspired looks from the Beyonce-approved label: Palomo Spain.

Red Carpet:  Attention seeking? Yes, but I have to say I’m totally buying this brand of tongue-and-cheek humor. The look is unique and it did its job by making her stand out as the host. I love how her £6 million worth of Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and sparkling Jimmy Choo ‘Romy’ pumps added the touch of glamour to the look. For me it will go down as one of the iconic MTV red carpet looks. Or the one of the most memorable at least. Lady Gaga had her meat dress, Rita has her bathrobe.

Rita Ora switches on the Oxford Street Christmas lights in Temperley London

On Tuesday (November 7) the festive season was officially kicked off by Rita Ora who switched on the Oxford Street Christmas lights in London on a cold night in the capital.

Unlike Alexa Chung’s perplexing summery look, Rita was well-dressed for the occasion wearing a chunky cable-knit sweater and embroidered maxi skirt from Temperley London’s Fall 2017 collection.

This might just be the most season appropriate look we’ve seen – and are likely to see – this winter.

Rita’s style is usually all about grabbing attention, but on this occasion her red carpet M.O. appeared to be all about keeping warm and presenting the label’s demure charm.

03.11.17 Premiere

End Of The Week Red Carpet Roundup

There were so many looks this week, that we’re going to cram them into this final post.

Josephine De La Baume: Attending the ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ world premiere, the French actress opted to infuse her red carpet style with high-voltage seduction courtesy of this Self-Portrait devore mini dress from the Fall 2017 collection. I’m not usually a big fan of platform shoes, but I find myself buying what she’s selling as these Miu Miu Mary Janes add a playful vibe.

Martha Hunt: I love the fashion forward feel of this Off-White c/o Virgil Abloh black cropped blazer and sequin dress from the Fall 2017 collection with simple black pumps. Worn to the World of Children Awards, this was a truly intriguing look I have to say.

Ajak Deng: This saffron yellow Roksanda ‘Tamiko’ jumpsuit from the Fall 2017 collection gave me so much joy at the ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ world premiere. I love the relaxed nature of it all with the chunky heels adding a utilitarian flavour.
