Rita Ora In Ulyana Sergeenko Couture – Z100’s Jingle Ball

Rita Ora In Ulyana Sergeenko Couture - Z100’s Jingle Ball

Rita Ora attended Z100’s Jingle Ball on Friday (December 12) in New York City.

Before her performance the British singer took to the red carpet wearing an Ulyana Sergeenko Fall 2013 Couture black velvet bodysuit with a white ruffled high-neck collar styled with the same black over-the-knee boots we saw on the runway.

For a red carpet look it would appear she forgot the bottom half, whereas for the stage it’s perfectly on trend for stars who like the less-is-more approach for those energetic dance routines.

Usually people call out Rita, accusing her of copying Rihanna’s style; well, on this occasion this is a take two from Beyoncé.

Queen Bey wore this same outfit in her ‘Haunted’ video, albeit with suspenders and Tom Ford pumps, but I’m sure the copy-cat tag will stick nonetheless.

Rita Ora In Tommy Hilfiger – LAX

Rita Ora In Tommy Hilfiger - LAX

On Wednesday (December 9) Rita Ora was spotted arriving on a flight at LAX airport in Los Angeles, California, returning from Minnesota where she performed on the Jingle Ball Tour.

Trying to go incognito under a fedora and sunglasses, the singer and ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ actress would’ve stood out regardless thanks to her Tommy Hilfiger Spring 2015 shaggy fur star-print coat.

While I like the coat, I much prefer the styling on the runway.

The rest of Rita’s look featured a Kate Moss Supreme tee, black jeans and Marni boots.

Rita Ora In Fausto Puglisi – KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball 2014

Rita Ora In Fausto Puglisi - KIIS FM's Jingle Ball 2014

Rita Ora attended the KIIS FM Jingle Ball 2014 held at the Staples Center on Friday (December 5) in Los Angeles, California.

While Rita’s style can be very hit-and-miss, I always appreciate her efforts to keep things interesting and her fearless take-a-risk approach to fashion.

This Fausto Puglisi citron ‘Suburbia Gladiator’ sweatshirt and black and white mini skirt with crystal-embroidered panel from the Spring 2015 collection styled with gladiator sandals has its pros and cons.

Pros: The sweatshirt.

Cons: The Jennifer Meyer reverse choker, the unflattering skirt and the leg-stumping sandals. Oh, and that bobbed wig.

In short, me no likey.

Rita Ora In Tom Ford – 2014 British Fashion Awards

Rita Ora In Tom Ford - 2014 British Fashion Awards

Rita Ora couldn’t be missed as she sauntered down the red carpet at the 2014 British Fashion Awards on Monday (December 1) at the London Coliseum in England.

The British entertainer echoed the Tom Ford Spring 2015 runway, wearing an exact replica of the racy number that took to the catwalk.

Featuring an embellished black leather top, side cutouts and sheer midriff paneling, the slit-to-there gown had all the rebel swagger we’d expect from Rita.

Because the bondage-inspired design clearly didn’t have enough drama, the platinum-blonde singer added thigh-high stockings, a long black scarf and sky-high, metallic platform sandals. It was all a bit much, but those shoes may have pushed me over the edge.

Missing in action was her signature red lip—not that I’m complaining.

Seductive or several steps too far?

Rita Ora In Zac Posen – 2014 American Music Awards

Rita Ora In Zac Posen – 2014 American Music Awards2

Rita Ora was a vision in yellow as she took to the red carpet at the 2014 American Music Awards, hosted on Sunday (November 23) at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California.

The songstress was luscious in a bright lemon-hued Zac Posen strapless dress, complete with a sweeping train, which had all the drama we would expect from both the designer and Rita.

Not one to not push the boundaries, she matched the structural glamour of the gown with an equally architectural top-knot ’do and bold makeup strokes that included feathery lashes and yellow eye shadow.

I also love that she continued to skip the red lip in favour of a nude-pink gloss.

A vintage Swarovski clutch completed the look.
