Louis Vuitton @ 2018 Met Gala

There were numerous ladies decked out in Louis Vuitton at the Heavenly Bodies: Fashion & The Catholic Imagination Costume Institute Gala on Monday (May 7) in New York City, joining Emma Stone.

Alicia Vikander: Sharp, sleek and modern spring to mind when gazing at the Swedish actress’s ensemble. The two-tone colour palette speaks to the theme, but it has been reimagined in a way that’s very representative of the designer.

Laura Harrier: Showing off her gorgeous gams, she was one of the few who opted for a short silhouette this evening. It’s a flirty look, but doesn’t express the theme or grandeur of the event.

Sienna Miller: The British beauty captured the angelic allure that was popular at the gala, but presented it with more structure than many. The chunky chains add a weighty edge against the sequined fabric and whimsical headpiece.

Riley Keough In Proenza Schouler – HBO Winter TCA 2018

Riley Keough attended the HBO Winter TCA 2018 on January 11, 2018 in Pasadena, California, where she promoted her upcoming flick ‘Fahrenheit 451’.

I love how her Proenza Schouler Spring 2018 blazer serves up a contemporary update on classic tailoring, and how the blazer embodies the brands clean-lined finesse in a longer silhouette to project androgynous aptitude, but I’m not crazy about the knit skirt.

This could’ve been a power pairing, but the skirt feels a bit limp in comparison to the blazer.

An Evening Honoring Louis Vuitton and Nicolas Ghesquière

‘An Evening Honoring’… an annual fundraising event for the Lincoln Center Corporate Fund, paid tribute to Louis Vuitton Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquière with ‘The Women’s Leadership Award’ on Thursday (November 30) in New York City.

The award was presented by Jennifer Connelly, to celebrate his many years of excellence in the fashion industry.

As you’d expect, the same list of ladies, and gents, who’ve shown their support for recent LV events were in attendance, plus Nicole Kidman.

Ruth Negga: Of the winged trio here, Ruth is the most successful at pulling off this Louis Vuitton Spring 2018 look. Dreamy in parts with a sheer and leather overlay giving the look an edge, there really is nothing she can’t pull off.

Michelle Williams: The actress perhaps went with the most safest interpretation of this Spring 2018 look, and I have a feeling many will consider this a tad washed out and too one note. I think that she looks really pretty, and to be honest, I’m glad she played it safe. Complicated LV styles overwhelm her in my opinion.

Jennifer Connelly: While I will tip my hat and have huge admiration for Jennifer for going with probably the trickiest look in the Louis Vuitton Spring 2018 collection, my feeling is she has bitten off a little more than she could chew here. There’s way too much going on, and it doesn’t feel as cohesive as the other two ladies.

Riley Keough In Giamba – Tiffany & Co. Home & Accessories Opening Party

Riley Keough attended the Tiffany & Co. Home & Accessories opening party on Wednesday, (November 8) in New York City.

We’ve kinda pigeon-holed Riley as a rock chick, but her recently looks tell us there a girlie girl softness to her style she’s portraying more often.

I love how this Giamba Fall 2017 marries her styles with the pretty pink tiered romantic references and rebellious lace bralet.

‘Volez, Voguez, Voyagez – Louis Vuitton’ Exhibition

Fashionistas in the Louis Vuitton family stepped out to attended the ‘Volez, Voguez, Voyagez ‘ exhibition opening on Thursday (October 26) in New York City, with the ladies all wearing Spring 2018 outfits.

Alicia Vikander: Making her first appearance since marrying Michael Fassbender, the newlywed continued to prove why she and Louis Vuitton are a smashing combination. Many will be focused on her ring, but I enjoyed the way the embroidered coat dressed up the skinny trousers. The double handles on the bag could have come off as contrived, but they don’t.

Pom Klementieff: Also displaying a compelling mix, the actress gave us long and short proportions with animal print, stripes and varying textures. Some might find it a tad too much, but the cute eye bag helped merge the competing black and brown pieces.

Zendaya Coleman:
This marked the actress’s first Louis Vuitton event. Recently, she has had a number of triumphant red carpet hits so I was intrigued to see what she would bring to the brand. The interplay of fabrics and textures is interesting and I like how she brought a sophisticated elegance to the shorter hemline.

Riley Keough In Calvin Klein 205W39NYC – ELLE’s 24th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration

Riley Keough received the ‘CALVIN KLEIN Emerging Star Spotlight Award,’ presented to her by Kristen Stewart at ELLE’s 24th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration on Monday (October 16) in Beverly Hills, California.

The actress who’s known for her edgy/grungy style, opted for a fresh new look wearing a nude and floral print outfit from Calvin Klein’s Fall 2017 collection.

I really appreciate the change of pace and daring to do something different and unexpected, but this look veered dangerously close into being too precious with the ribbon headband.
