Rila Fukushima In Gucci – ‘The Wolverine’ Tokyo Press Conference

Rila Fukushima In Gucci - 'The Wolverine' Tokyo Press Conference

Following the Tokyo premiere for ‘The Wolverine’, Rila Fukushima joined her co-stars at the press conference held at the Meguro Gajyoen in Tokyo, Japan yesterday afternoon.

The actress selected a ladylike Gucci Fall 2013 open-neck houndstooth dress with half sleeves which is in total contrast to the edgy style I have come to know her for, so it is nice to see her versatility.

Elegant Christian Louboutin ‘Queue de Pie’ patent-leather pumps with a lace detail accessorized her look, with a chic updo and red lips completing the look.

Rila Fukushima In Tom Ford – ‘The Wolverine’ Tokyo Premiere

Rila Fukushima In Tom Ford - 'The Wolverine' Tokyo Premiere

Rila Fukushima attended ‘The Wolverine’ Tokyo premiere held at the Roppongi Hills Theatre on Wednesday in Japan.

The actress selected a Tom Ford Spring 2013 cobalt-blue layered chiffon halter gown with a knotted rope detail accenting the bodice.

Her look is electric; that bold blue hue teamed with a striking red lip colour makes for a dramatic combination, so it is such a shame that her shoes are so uninspiring.

Who Wore Stella McCartney Better…Jennifer Lawrence or Rila Fukushima

Who Wore Stella McCartney Better Jennifer Lawrence or Rila Fukushima

Back in February, during awards season, Jennifer Lawrence attended the 28th Santa Barbara Film Festival, where she picked up the Outstanding Performer of the Year Award.

She did so wearing a Stella McCartney tailored jumpsuit striped in tones of navy-blue from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection, which made for a contemporary evening offering; she styled the jumpsuit with black satin Casadei pumps.

Rila Fukushima made a bold entrance onto the red carpet for ‘The Wolverine’ London premiere last month, wearing the same look with black patent Louboutins, a hot-red pout and side-swept curls.

This was a really easy choice for me: Rila wins – her smoothed-out neckline, overall attitude, confidence and stance win me over.

Rila Fukushima In Stella McCartney – ‘The Wolverine’ London Premiere

Rila Fukushima In Stella McCartney - 'The Wolverine' London Premiere

Rila Fukushima joined Tao Okamoto on the red carpet at the Empire Leicester Square in London yesterday evening for the UK Premiere of ‘The Wolverine’.

The Asian beauty opted for an edgier look than her fellow female co-star, wearing a Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2013 strapless blue-and-black-striped tailored jumpsuit.

Styled with black Louboutins, a electric-bolt blue ring, wavy raven tresses and a red pout, I love everything about this look from the styling to the attitude.

I think I even prefer this look over Tao’s.

You may remember that Jennifer Lawrence wore this same jumpsuit during awards season.
