Rihanna In Celine – Out In New York City

Rihanna In Celine - Out In New York City

Following her return to Instagram
, Rihanna dined with friends at Nobu in New York City on Monday (November 3).

The singer, who is the December 2014 cover girl for Elle, may have a red carpet M.O. of wearing next to nothing, but here she was fully covered up walking the streets of Manhattan.

The cosy grey Celine Fall 2014 ribbed-knit high-neck top and matching trousers is one of those looks which has inspired the designers at Zara to recreate similar versions.

Easy, effortless and no doubt very comfortable, the look was styled with oversized silver hooped earrings, nude Manolo Blahniks and a Louis Vuitton twisted box bag from the ‘Celebrating Monogram’ collection.

Rihanna In Tom Ford – 2014 amfAR LA Inspiration Gala

Rihanna In Tom Ford - 2014 amfAR LA Inspiration Gala

Rihanna attended the amfAR LA Inspiration Gala honouring Tom Ford held at Milk Studios on Wednesday (October 29) in Hollywood, California.

The singer was the fourth star to be dressed by Tom Ford following Gwyneth Paltrow, January Jones and Miley Cyrus at this event.

If you are shocked by Rihanna wearing this Tom Ford Spring 2015 white gown featuring cut-outs, a thigh-high slit and a sheer bodice with purple embellishments covering her areolas, then you haven’t seen her next-to-nothing Adam Selman CFDA Fashion Awards gown.

Like Miley, Rihanna is rocking the hell out of this gown.

When I said with regards to her previous look that it felt a bit flat, it was because when Rihanna is giving us pure unapologetic sex appeal that is quite frankly when she is at her best.

The orange lip is a tad jarring, but everything else she’s serving up I am buying.

I mean seriously, who else did you envision wearing this dress?

Rihanna In Adam Selman – Rogue Man By Rihanna Fragrance Launch

Rihanna In Adam Selman - Rogue Man By Rihanna Fragrance Launch

Rihanna attended the Rogue Man By Rihanna fragrance launch held at Macy’s Lenox Square on Saturday (October 25) in Atlanta, Georgia.

The singer wore a look from her stylist-turned-designer, Adam Selman.

This white-trimmed black Spring 2015 three-piece look accentuated with pearl accents is a tamer look than I would’ve expected from the singer.

Perhaps she’s run out of shock tactics, or perhaps, considering this was a meet and greet, she opted not to go too risqué.

Styled with Manolo Blahnik ‘Chaos’ sandals and a selection of necklaces including a nameplate ‘Fenty’ piece, slick straight tresses completed her look.

Sexy and refined, or quite uneventful?

Rihanna In Adam Selman – Adam Selman Spring 2015

Rihanna In Adam Selman - Adam Selman Spring 2015

Rihanna attended the Adam Selman presentation at Algus Greenspon Gallery, held during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2015 on Friday (September 5).

Clearly inspired by the designer’s spring runway, she flaunted a non-printed version of the ruffled, button-down Spring 2015 shirt-dress that took to the runway.

She added some attitude to the flirty, babydoll frock with an Ana Khouri 18k gold and three pearl ‘Jane’ ear cuff, along with a doorknocker pearl cocktail rings, a long double-wrapped strand of pearls and that pile of tumbling curls.

As for those strappy, laser-cut white Christian Louboutin ‘Impera’ heels… j’adore.

With their all-white outfits, the songstress and Selman do create a fun photo op, likewise making me appreciate her lighthearted look even more.

Cool or too cutesy?

Rihanna In Natalie Martin – Out In Sardinia

Rihanna In Natalie Martin - Out In Sardinia
Rihanna recently shopped and strolled the streets of Sardinia, Italy with a couple of friends, browsing stores the likes of Prada, Versace and Louis Vuitton.

For her day of retail therapy, she was lovely in a Natalie Martin maxi dress with an allover cerise-hued floral print that matched her matte lip lacquer.

In keeping with the breezy style, she wore her hair in loose, natural waves, carried a white Prada bag, and kept herself cool with a teal-coloured folding fan, which served as a bold contrasting accessory.

In addition to the pretty look, I actually love those metallic sunglasses that she tried on; edgy and eye-catching—much like the singer herself. However, it’s been nice to see her softer, more demure side of late.
