Rihanna In Vivienne Westwood Red Label – RiRi By Rihanna Fragrance Unveiling

Rihanna In Vivienne Westwood Red Label - RiRi By Rihanna Fragrance Unveiling

Probably thankful that she opted to swerve the VMAs, Rihanna made an appearance at the Macy’s Downtown Brooklyn store on Monday (August 31) in New York City, to unveiling her latest fragrance RiRi by Rihanna.

I love how Rihanna made this Vivienne Westwood Red Label Fall 2015 pink lacquered lace corset dress her own; dialling down the frou frou vibe from the runway look.

This might be too bubblegum sweet for some, but I love how this ’80s throwback showcases the softer side to her style.

Hot pink Louboutins and lots of jewels including pretty pearls completed her look.

Yay or nay?

Rihanna In Marni – Out In New York

Rihanna In Marni - Out In New York

Rihanna was spotted out in New York City yesterday evening (July 13) with her friend Melissa Forde.

The duo visited a tattoo parlour and shopped for earrings before heading to dinner at Bond Street Sushi.

This is perhaps the most covered up we’ve ever seen Rihanna, as the singer was rocking a full-length floral Marni dress styled with white Chanel shoes.

Any calls for this being too much like granny-chic will be dispelled upon sight of that green Versace choker.

Rihanna In Giorgio Armani – 2015 BET Awards

Rihanna In Giorgio Armani - 2015 BET Awards

Rihanna attended the 2015 BET Awards at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday (June 28) in Los Angeles, California, where she introduced the video to her next single, ‘B*tch Better Have My Money’.

Considering that was her only function on the night, the cameras seemed to be pretty much fixated upon her.

That could be due to the fact that Miss Fenty wore a gold tuxedo suit sans blouse.

If you were expecting this tailored two-piece to be Dior, she actually wore Giorgio Armani.

Sadly, this look didn’t work. The fit was off and the style so very drab for Rihanna I have to say.

Rihanna In Christian Dior – Christian Dior Fall 2015 Tokyo Show

Rhianna In Christian Dior - Christian Dior Fall 2015 TOKYO Show

Rihanna attended the Christian Dior Tokyo Autumn/Winter 2015-16 ready-to-wear show, hosted at The National Art Center Tokyo in Tokyo, Japan on Tuesday (June 16).

From top to toe, the songstress was decked out in the designer of the hour—and you will get no complaints from me.

I love the mix of edgy sassiness and girly femininity seen in her floral-embroidered denim Christian Dior dress paired with Dior burgundy and multi-coloured flower jacquard boots.

Her pink printed leather Diorama bag and Dior retro sunglasses brought even more of a glamorously fun punch to wrap up the look with additional sparkle provided by Dior Fine Jewelry ‘Gourmande Pastel’ earrings and Dior Fine Jewelry ‘Rose des vents’ bracelets.

It’s a rare occasion when a Rihanna look can be described as duly chic and charming, but this is one such occasion.

Rihanna In Rodarte – Out In New York City

Rihanna In Rodarte - Out In New York City
Rihanna was spotted out in New York City on Sunday (May 24).

Never one to not leave an impression, the songstress channeled an urban, hip-hop mood in a Rodarte Spring 2015 olive-green, canvas jacket paired with ripped boyfriend jeans and, what else, but Puma briefs and Giuseppe Zanotti sandals.

Elevated grunge was the name of this game, and the artfully chaotic design of the oversized jacket carried the street-style look with its patchwork pockets, hand-embroidered, iridescent burnt edged paillettes, and leather strap details.

Those flame-red locks and oxblood lip were the exclamation point on this rebellious look that’s right in line with Ri Ri’s colourful, statement-making style.

Rihanna’s Dior Secret Garden Campaign

Inter_SG4_DP1_440x285_Without Txt

Christian Dior has released a first look at Rihanna’s Dior Secret Garden campaign, photographed by Steven Klein at the Palace of Versailles in France.

While this is the fourth instalment of the Secret Garden series, it is the first time a black woman has been the face of the house in its 69-year history.

Rihanna has always been a huge fan of Raf Simons often perched front row at Dior’s shows, plus she’s been spotted wearing his menswear collection on several occasions, so perhaps this shouldn’t have been a surprise.

While her first official outing as an ambassador in Dior wasn’t a huge success, this campaign appears to have successfully shaken up the image of the brand bringing a touch of rebellious spirit.
